Abstract: Spring coupler apparatus including a driving member and a driven member coaxially mounted in a case, the driving member including a substantially circular annular body having a pair of fan-shaped flanges extending diametrically therefrom with upstanding portions at the end of the flanges forming recesses therebetween, and the driven member also including a pair of diametrically opposed fan-shaped flanges with projections extending upwardly from the ends thereof into the recesses. A relatively larger diameter spring is wrapped around the upstanding portions and projections and is in frictional engagement of the outer wall of the case in the free state of the spring, one tang end of the spring being engaged in a slit in one of the projections, and a tang on the free end of the spring being engageable with one of the upstanding portions of the driving member.
Abstract: In this window winder, at the end of the travel, the active face (7) of the abutment (6) of the driven toothed sector (4) is substantially perpendicular to the direction of the force (F.sub.1) of the meshed teeth. This produces in the engaged part of the toothed sector a radial force (R.sub.2) which urges it against the drive pinion (10). This avoids a deformation of the toothed sector in the event of an excessive force being exerted on this pinion.

Abstract: In a window lifter, an electric motor drives a window lifting arm via a gear arrangement. The gear arrangement includes a pinion interconnected with a larger diameter gear with both rotatably mounted on a pin. The pin is secured at one end to a base plate and at its other end to a stirrup. The pinion bears against the base plate, the stirrup extends outwardly from diametrically opposite sides of the gear and is connected at its ends outwardly from the gear to the base plate.
Abstract: Guide apparatus for guiding the movement of a vehicle window pane comprises a regulator mechanism for raising and lowering the window pane and a guide mechanism for regulating the locus of movement thereof. The regulator mechanism consists of X-shaped crossing movable arms, the upper ends of which slide along a horizontal guide channel secured on the window pane, and the lower ends of which slide along another horizontal guide channel secured on an inner panel of a door. The arms are driven by a handle. The guide mechanism includes a tubular guide track, a bottom of which is pivoted on the door inner panel. The guide track slides vertically through a single guide member secured on the window pane. Accordingly, the inclination of the window pane is always held unchangeable, so that it is very easy and simple to adjust the securing position of the guide member secured thereon in the horizontal direction.
Abstract: A motor vehicle door window glass system which includes a door window glass which is formed in the shape of a composite spindle surface wherein the composite spindle surface is formed by smoothly connecting together a plurality of spindle surfaces in a vertical direction so that the radius of curvature along any vertical section of the window glass decreases in a downward direction, a raising and lowering device which raises and lowers the door window glass so that it moves into and out of the space between a door outer panel and a door inner panel and a guide means which guides the door window glass so that the glass successively rotates about a different central axis of the respective spindle surfaces which constitute the composite spindle surface of the door window glass when the raising and lowering device is operated.
Abstract: Disclosed is a regulator mechanism for two window panels mounted in the door of an automotive vehicle. The panels are slidable independently of one another in a common plane between raised and lowered positions under the control of the regulator mechanism. Both window panels are operated by independently operable lever arms, both lever arms being mounted for rotation on a common pivot shaft. The lever arms are secured to respective sector gears, both sector gears also being mounted for rotation on the common pivot shaft. Each sector gear is driven independently of the other by a driving gear, the driving gears being angularly spaced from the pivot shaft to prevent operative interference between the operative end of each lever arm. The mechanism is mounted as a unitary assembly on a unitary mounting plate, the plate providing a support structure for the common pivot shaft and the respective pinion shafts.

Abstract: A door for vehicles which includes an outer door panel and an inner door panel and is equipped with a window regulator unit. The inner panel is formed with an attachment recess for a window glass regulator unit and a slit. The window regulator unit is attached to the bottom of the attachment recess and has a window regulator arm or connecting pin extending through the slit into a space between the outer and inner panels for operative connection with an attachment plate fixed to the door glass, the connecting pin interconnecting the door glass and the window regulator arm.

Abstract: The window in a door of an automotive vehicle is lifted by an operating lever pivotally mounted on a supporting structure in the door which includes a releasably mounted carrier member of sheet metal. The weight of the window is partly balanced by a spiral spring one of whose ends is attached to the lever. The other end is secured in a gap between two integral lugs of the carrier member which are offset at right angles from the major face of the carrier member.
Abstract: A programmed sequential operator for producing sequential or at least not identically simultaneous movement of two different members. The operator includes an actuator reversely movable between limiting positions, first and second operating members each independently reversely movable between limiting positions, and connections between the actuator and operating members to produce forward and reverse movements of said members in programmed relation to forward and reverse movement of the actuator.
