    Abstract: Disclosed is a window assembly for use in mass transit vehicles which allows the quick and easy removal and replacement of transparent sacrificial glazing panels which protect the glazing of the window from vandalism and wear. The window assembly utilizes a sacrificial protective panel and mounting arrangement which allows quick and easy replacement of protective panels on one or both sides of the window assembly, but inhibits removal by non-maintenance personnel such as vandals. The frame of the window assembly incorporates one or more retainers which fit into slots along the interior sides of the window frame and sandwich the glazing between the frame and the retainers. In turn, the retainers are essentially “locked” into position in the frame by an inner protective panel, which significantly inhibits the removal of the retainers from the window assembly when the protective panel is in its desired position against the windowpane.

When the screw is screwed into the slider and through the window hole, then in an axial channel of the pin, it exerts thereon a traction which causes it to slide inside the slider hole and the window hole until is urged to stop against the slider branch. This assembly is extremely simple and ensures more dependable mounting than known devices. The user operating it senses when the assembling is completed by the increased in the screw torque. Moreover, if the pin if forgotten, the screw slips thereby warning the operable about the absence of the pin.

Access to the track clamping structure can be had through a small access opening formed in a trim panel on the interior surface of the door. Track adjustment can be achieved without removing the trim panel from the door. In preferred practice of the invention, the track clamping structure includes a threaded rod disposed between the track and a window support panel to swing the lower end of the track for changing the movement path of the window.

    Abstract: A cargo space expanding device of a vehicle is disclosed to prevent any damage from being made by a loaded matter by getting the upper part of glass to be completely inserted into a mid-gate, the device comprising: a piece of glass fixed by holding unit onto a roof panel; and a mid-gate hinged by rotating unit mounted at a body panel with a hollow part filled with a cushioning member like sponge or urethane foam for getting the glass drawn inside, wherein the holding unit comprises pressing unit fixed at the glass and manipulating unit hinged with the pressing unit and coupled with a fixing edge of a grip member mounted at the roof panel to support the upper end of the glass.

    Abstract: A motor vehicle window regulator includes a helically wound wire coil on a flexible lubricating core to form a flexible cable, and the cable is confined within an elongated guide tube having a longitudinally extending slot.
