The hinge is made from two parts, one being welded to the cover and one being welded to the enclosure. One of the parts includes an integrally formed locking arm which continuously engages the other hinge part except when the cover is completely open, thus preventing any vertical movement of the cover which might defeat a cover safety interlock.
