Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a mounting bracket for a modular panel. More particularly, the invention encompasses a quick roll mounting bracket for modular panels. The quick roll mounting bracket for a modular panel provides an easier/improved means for an installer to install a modular panel and to electrically and mechanically couple the modular panels together. The inventive roller bracket helps guide the modular panel during the coupling process by providing at least one wheel or a rolling interface to an otherwise metallic or metal-to-metal interface. The wheel or a rolling interface could be secured to the modular panel via at least one mounting bracket or via at least one spacer or at least one emboss.

Abstract: A combination of profiles for forming slider and double hung sash windows or patio doors includes a common outer profile and two different inner profiles so that one inner profile can be used to form the double hung and the other to form the slider. This allows the slider top inner to be cut away to form a floating section resting on the top of the sash. This allows the drain holes to be formed separately in the inner and the outer to be longitudinally offset to prevent direct air penetration. The sash frame is formed with a removable glass stop on one side which snaps into engagement at right angles to the glass surface of the sealed unit to allow formation of a tri-pane with 0.5 inch spacing and to allow the use of two strips of adhesive one on each side of the sealed unit with no need for drainage.

Abstract: A window jamb component assembly mountable in the jambs of a double hung window for cooperative engagement with the sash assemblies thereof. The component assembly includes a longitudinally elongated jamb liner having upper and lower segments comprising a pair of channel guides spaced apart by a profiled web. The profiled web defines sequentially aligned recesses, namely an inner weather stripping recess, a jamb filler recess and an outer weather stripping recess. A jamb filler, held by the jamb filler recess, provides a uniformly clad surface for the jambs to match the appearance of the trim of the double hung window. Frame weather stripping for sealingly engaging the sash assemblies of the double hung window is deployed and held in the inner and outer weather stripping recesses. Such assembly provides a visually pleasing finish for the window jambs, while providing improved cooperation between the window jamb and the sash assemblies.

Abstract: A window construction is disclosed of the type having sashes slidable within a frame and maintained in alignment therein by means of guide strips adjacent the sashes which, due to their unique design, are capable of being removed from channels in the frame only when force is applied thereto from one side thereof to thereby ensure only removal of the sashes from one side of the frame.

Abstract: A patio door assembly made up of two identical glazed panels with one panel slidable in a frame and the other panel fixed to one of the respective jambs of the frame. The fixed panel is mounted on a false rail on the sill of the frame while a false mullion member and a sash block are provided which are easily removable to allow the fixed panel to be fixed to the other jamb of the frame. The sash block has a reversible insert which makes it conform to either position of the fixed glazed panel.

Abstract: A multi-sash pocket window is designed to accomodate sash of differing widths and in varying combinations. The window frame structure is adapted to receive inserts for retaining the sash in place and which are selected to accomodate the sash width and combinations being used. At the sill, the inserts have rails for supporting the sash rollers and upright sections that straddle the lower ends of the sash. Ribs are provided for retaining the inserts in place and various example are shown.

Abstract: A sectional door assembly, of the variety having a plurality of interconnected sections which are movable between a closed position and an open position. A flexible guide track is included on both sides of the door for guiding and supporting the plurality of sections between their respective open and closed positions. The flexible nature of the guide track, as well as the incorporation of a relatively quick release mechanism for retaining the guide track on the door's frame, allows for both minimization of damage to the door sections themselves and the time required to repair the door sections if they are accidentally damaged.
