Abstract: Covering of raw boxes with a sheet blank in a box laminating machine with a rubbing-down device that sweeps or rolls over the surface to be covered and a counter-holder that interacts with said rubbing-down device, wherein the rubbing-down operation takes place during a transport movement of the box and the counter-holder plunges into the box in order to support the wall to be covered against the rubbing-down device.

Abstract: A wok lid control apparatus (3) comprises a machine frame (100), a base (11), a drive mechanism (12) and a follow-up mechanism (13). The drive mechanism (12) comprises a linear motor (21), a connecting rod (22) and a wok lid holder (23). The follow-up mechanism (13) comprises a wok lid shaft (31), a bearing (32), and an elastic component (33). The wok lid holder (23) is provided with a through hole (231) for the wok lid shaft (31) to run through. A lower end of the wok lid shaft (31) is fixedly connected to a wok lid (20), while an upper end of the wok lid shaft protrudes through the through hole (231). An upper end of the elastic component (33) is connected to the bearing (32), and a lower end of the elastic component (33) is connected to the wok lid (20).

Abstract: For the wrapping of cigarette groups 10 in blanks 13 (tin foil), a sheet of material 28 is fed at a constant conveying speed V1 to a suction and cutting cylinder 32 rotating at a relatively considerably higher speed. On the latter, the blank 13 is severed from the sheet of material 28, the blank being accelerated until it is transferred to suction disks 40, 41, between which the cigarette group 10 is conveyed through, at the same time carrying along the blank 13 which is at a standstill during this phase. For this purpose, the suction disks 40, 41 are driven intermittently.
Abstract: An apparatus and process for the production of double wall containers is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a single wall container feeding station, a container blank feeding station and an erecting and telescoping station. In accordance with the disclosed process, flat carton blanks are fed in timed sequence from a blank feeding station into an erecting station where the blank is erected. Previously formed single wall containers are aligned in a feeding station with the erected blank and then telescoped into the erected blank with the aid of a plurality of oscillating guide arms disposed between the single wall container and the erected blank. Thereafter, the completed double wall container is ejected from the erecting and telescoping station.
