Abstract: The invention relates to a (cigarette) package consisting of an outer package (10) and two inner packages (11, 12). The latter can be moved by a pivoting movement about a respective articulation joint in the region of an outer base wall (40) out of the closed position (upright within the outer package (10)) into an oblique open position. Abstract: A food tray adapted to be removably located in a predetermined position in a compartment is provided having a tray body and a fixed movable stop member. The tray body includes a first end and a second end, a bottom and a sidewall structure defining a volume. The fixed movable stop member is located at one end of the tray body and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The unit includes vertical components that are generally U-shaped in plan view, and sized to fit closely within the trays in pairs to form a “H” shape in plan view forming a pair of shipping spaces. Additional U-shaped vertical components can then be assembled to close off the shipping spaces, and a tray can be used as a lid and positioned on top of the vertical components to form an assembled shipping unit.

Abstract: Devices and methods for packaging food cups is provided. The devices include unitary blanks with a front panel, bottom panel, rear panel, top panel, and side closures (in various forms) configured for assembly into a hollow substantially polyhedral package enclosure for 2 cups, 4 cups, or other even number of cups. Package enclosures with different side closures are designed for assembly with no glue joints, one glue joint, 3 glue joints (two cup enclosure), or 5 glue joints. Package enclosures provide visual displays that permit viewing of contents of cups secured in the enclosures. Package enclosures are structurally stable for packaging, transport, and storage. And the visual displays provide aesthetic appeal for consumers. Material and manufacturing costs and product waste are minimized with the invention.

Abstract: The invention relates to a machine for assembling cardboard boxes, including a device for feeding sheets of cardboard that are used to form the boxes in a forming station comprising an assembly device including a mold and a male element that descends by means of a vertical linear actuator, in order to form the box inside the mold, co-operating with the latter. Abstract: A shipping and display carton convertible into a cover portion and display tray is described comprised of a cover portion formed from a cover blank and a tray portion formed from a tray blank. The blanks are preferably glued together at only three glue points when the tray blank is laid flat on top of the cover blank in order to form a two-layered blank that may be erected into the present carton. The fully erected carton may be easily broken apart into an attractive display tray and a disposable/recyclable cover by gripping the cover within a grasping aperture and lifting the cover portion up to break the carton apart at the two side tabs and along the rear of the carton.
