Abstract: The disclosed bedsheet system includes a middle portion, a foot connector, and a head connector that allows for quick removal and/or addition of sheets. The middle portion has a length and a width defining a plane, the length has a first end and a second end. The foot connector is attached to the first end of the middle portion and has at least one sheet connector mechanism. The head connector is attached to the second end of the middle portion and has at least one sheet connector mechanism. The foot connector and the head connector extend generally perpendicular from the plane of the middle portion.

Abstract: A modular knee brace assembly includes a brace that is worn around a knee after orthopedic surgery has been performed on the knee. A wedge is removably coupled to the brace when the brace is worn around the knee. The wedge is positioned on a back side of the knee to support the knee in a bent position when the user is lying on the user's back. An inner knee support is removably coupled to the brace when the brace is worn around the knee. The inner knee support extends between each of the user's knees when the user lies on their side. An outer knee support is removably coupled to the brace when the brace is worn around the knee. In this way the outer knee support supports the knee when the user lies on the user's side.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an awning suitable for being assembled on an infant carrier. The infant carrier includes a back bag, and a shoulder belt and a waist belt which are connected to two opposite ends of the back bag along a longitudinal direction of the back bag respectively, an end of the back bag connected to the shoulder belt is provided with a head-neck support, the awning comprises a body portion, and a first connection portion and a second connection portion which are connected to two opposite ends of the body portion along a longitudinal direction of the body portion, the first connection portion is connected to the head-neck support, the second connection portion comprises two connection belts arranged at intervals along a transverse direction of the body portion, the two connection belts are detachably connected to each other, and the awning can be stored in the head-neck support.

Abstract: The invention provides an invertible bedding stability system comprising a fitted sheet, a top sheet that resembles a flat sheet at the head end and fitted sheet at the foot end, and a cover bearing a constellation of buttons. The top sheet is sewn by a seam to the fitted sheet along their foot end and one side, such that elastic straps are sandwiched between them and bisected by that seam. The elastic straps define button holes; the external half of each strap may mate to one or more respective buttons on the cover. When the system is mounted on an intended mattress, the bedding remains more reliably in a fully or partially made-bed state, thereby improving the user's sleeping experience.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for providing a comforter that is divided into three sections or panels, wherein a center panel of the comforter may be pulled down while allowing the remaining two outer panels to remain up and on top of the other occupants of the bed on either side of the center panel, wherein a small infant sleeper crib may be placed in the gap between the two outer panels of the comforter without any danger of the infant being covered by the center panel.

Abstract: An infant calming/sleep-aid/SIDS detection device is provided that includes a main moving platform that moves in a variable manner with accompanying variable sound generation, the sound and motion adapted to calm a fussy baby, induce sleep, and maintain sleep under normal conditions. The device may also have a sensor for detection of pauses in breathing and/or detection of resultant biological changes related to breathing pauses and respond with appropriate stimuli to arouse the baby and allow breathing to recommence.

Abstract: A system and method for an infant securing apparatus that allows for infants to remain safely in a crib wherein the infant is prevented from rolling over on their stomach, sit, or stand up and injure themselves, the apparatus having a stable blanket to keep an infant warm while avoiding the infant being suffocated by the blanket.

Abstract: A fitted blanket fits over the mattress and secures underneath to prevent the blanket from moving off the user while sleeping in bed. The blanket can include an elastic material on at least the underside corner edges thereof to help secure the blanket to the mattress. The fitted blanket includes an opening to allow for easy entry and exit, rather than having to untuck the blanket. The opening may also provide an easy way to make the bed. The opening may simply be designed like a cut in the blanket and may or may not include closing mechanisms. The fitted nature of the blanket prevents blanket slippage or movement. The blanket may further include a cut-out region or an opening along at least a portion of the head end for pillow placement. The blanket can also include glow-in-the-dark elements or illuminated elements to light up the blanket at night.

The blanket is composed of an upper piece and a lower piece sewn together to create an open area between the two pieces along the perimeter of the blanket. The open area having connectors, such as hook and loop fasteners, sewn in it such that charms may be attached to the connectors between the upper and lower pieces or the upper and lower pieces may be attached to each other while no charm is present. The charms may be ribbons, or other objects made of material which is safe for children. The blanket may have calendar, time line, or age markings along the perimeter such that charms may be attached to the connectors at the corresponding age or date when the event occurred.

Said union positioned underneath a mattress by a given distance to allow multiple bed linen units to securely position on a mattress in nested form. The anti-ligative features include a union positioned at a location on said bed linen unit to prevent a lanyard from being formed. Other anti-ligative features include quilted thick tear resistant material and a built in pillow. Additional safety mechanisms are included such as a motion sensor and alarm.

Abstract: A fabric article includes a variety of structural features for swaddling a person, providing warmth to the head, supporting the neck, permitting the use of restraining belts, and/or allowing independent leg movement. The article includes opposing protrusions for wrapping around the torso of a body and securing the arms within. The lower portion of the article preferably defines a slit with overlapping flaps, which are easily configured into legs. The slit allows a restraining belt to fit snugly between the legs of a wearer, such that a person can be swaddled while still being properly secured by restraining belts.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bed clothing system that has a bottom sheet and top sheet attached together at the corners of the foot end of the bed clothing system. At the foot end of the bed clothing system on the corners, where the top and bottom sheets are attached, a stretchable piece of material is disposed in a vertical direction so that the bed sheet system is able to accommodate to any size and thickness of a mattress, while also remaining securely fixed on a mattress.

Abstract: Wraps for swaddling babies are provided that include a body having a base side. The wrap can further include two arms that are attached to the base side of the body of the wrap. The arms can extend outward in an opposite direction to one another along the base side of the body of the wrap. Related methods of using the wrap are also provided.

Abstract: An improved covering is described for use with a mattress. The improved covering comprises a top sheet securely or removably secured to a bottom sheet. Through the use of the improved covering, the time required for attending to the task of making a bed is reduced and the difficulty of such task is decreased. In addition, using the improved covering of the present disclosure, individuals such as, but not limited to children and those with difficulty attending to such a task, may now complete the task with an aesthetically pleasing result.

The support device supports the head, neck, spine and spinal cord of a newborn baby or infant when the infant is laid on the blanket body in a supine position and wrapped in the blanket body, so as to inhibit injury to the infant's head, neck, spine and spinal cord while carried by a person.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a bedding apparatus. In one embodiment, the bedding apparatus is configured to slip over a mattress such that the bedding apparatus substantially encloses the mattress except the front or head of the mattress. The bedding apparatus is configured such that, once installed over the mattress, there is sufficient space between the top of the mattress and the top panel of the bedding apparatus to enable a user to lay atop the mattress and under the top panel of the bedding apparatus. Additionally, once installed, the bottom panel of the bedding apparatus is positioned under the mattress such that the bedding apparatus is held in place by a combination of the weight of the mattress and the weight of the user (when the user is laying on the mattress).

Abstract: A diaper changing system utilizes a diaper holder member on which a diaper is to be positioned. Flaps extend outward from the holder member and are foldable over the diaper to maintain it in position on the holder member. The system also includes a unique baby supporting pad configured to be placed on the user's lap. The supporting pad can be utilized to maintain a diaper or in combination with the holder member supporting the diaper. A strap circumscribes the leg of the user to maintain the holder member and supporting pad on the user's leg. Once the supporting pad and/or the holding member, with diaper attached, is secured on the user's leg, the baby is placed on the diaper. The diaper is then wrapped around the baby and secured. The baby is removed from the system's components, which are then folded and compacted for storage and transport.

An infant undergoing a course of phototherapy is swaddled in the sheet of fabric material so that the infant is snugly wrapped in the sheet of fabric material, the sheet of fabric material limiting arm and leg movement of the infant, with only a single layer of the sheet of fabric material between a phototherapy lamp and the infant.

Abstract: The invention is a bedding apparatus, to be used with a conventional mattress. The bedding's bottom layer is fitted, so as to fit snugly around a mattress. The bottom layer is connected to the top layer by an attachment device, preferably two zippers. The top layer extends over three edges of the bottom layer, so as to appear aesthetically pleasing and provide comfort to the user. The zippers allow a user to easily and quickly make up the bed after sleeping in the bedding. It also functions to keep the top layer from falling off of the bed while sleeping and facilitates the user in weekly changing of the bed.

Transport structure is also included in the integral evacuation mattress and is configured for a person to drag the secured patient and integral mattress from a hospital.

The blanket may be used to quickly warm hands, arms, legs and feet with ease requiring no wires or electricity as with electric blankets.
