Electrically Operated Patents (Class 5/616)
  • Patent number: 10085568
Abstract: An electric bed frame for connection with a bed frame includes a fixed rack, a movable rack, a hitching bracket and a fastener. The fixed rack has a through hole. The movable rack is movably attached to the fixed rack. The hitching bracket has a striding portion for being disposed on a side rack of the bed frame, and an extended portion extended from the striding portion and having a groove. The fastener is inserted through the through hole of the fixed rack and the groove of the hitching bracket for connecting the hitching bracket with the fixed rack. As a result, the user has no need to throw away the normal bed existing at home and buy a whole new electric bed, and can enjoy the lifting and lowering effect like the electric bed on the existing normal bed.

Abstract: An articulating bed incorporating a frame having side frame members and a rigid cross frame member extending between the side frame members employs a flexible support member secured to the rigid cross frame member. Support arms engage an upper body portion of the flexible support member with lubricious support and are rotatable through a range of motion from an aligned position with the side frame members to a fully elevated position angularly supporting the upper body portion in a raised position. A leg portion adjustment member engages the flexible support member at a knee position intermediate a thigh portion and a leg portion of the flexible support member. The leg portion adjustment member is rotatable through a range of motion from an aligned position with the side frame members to a fully elevated position placing the knee position at an elevated location with angular positioning of the thigh portion and leg portion.

Abstract: A bed device includes: an operation section that receives an operation input; a controller that controls a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; a detector that detects a position of a patient on the bed; and, a limitation table that stores a limitation area set on the bed in association with a limitation content, wherein when the position of the patient detected by the detector is included in the limitation area, the limitation content is read out from the limitation table so as to control the controller in accordance with the limitation content. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a higher safety bed device which can not only notify the danger based on the bed movement but also limit the movement of the bed in accordance with the status of the patient or the bed device.
