Abstract: A combination warewashing detergent rinse aid composition is provided according to the invention. The warewashing detergent composition includes an alkaline source and a water-soluble anion. The rinse aid composition comprises an acid. Abstract: A warewashing detergent composition is provided according to the invention. The warewashing detergent composition includes a cleaning agent, an alkaline source, and a corrosion inhibitor. The cleaning agent comprises a detersive amount of a surfactant. The alkaline source is provided in an amount effective to provide a use solution having a pH of at least about 8. The corrosion inhibitor includes a source of aluminum ion and a source of zinc ion. Methods for using and manufacturing a warewashing detergent composition are provided.

Abstract: A multiuse cleaning device in a solid state containing a homogeneous quantity of cleaning agent configured to dissolve and release a substantially consistent quantity of cleaning agent over a plurality of wash and rinse cycles. The cleaning agent includes a gas-releasing component and potassium silicate as a solubility control component to limit the solubility of the cleaning agent. The cleaning agent may include other ingredients such as an alkalinity agent as a pH regulator, a water softener to solvate metal ions in a solution of water, an optical brightener, an anti-redeposition agent, fragrances, surfactants, and other ingredients. Controlled dissolution of the cleaning agent composition releases a desired quantity of cleaning agent in each cleaning cycle over a plurality of cycles. A porous enclosure may be disposed around the solid cleaning agent.
Abstract: The invention is a solid chemical concentrate system of at least two cooperative shapes. The first shape is an inwardly curved bar having an inner opening. The second shape is an insert which is capable of interlocking with the bar by insertion into the bar inner opening. The solid chemical concentrate provides chemical systems having active constituents which may be the same, different but compatible or functionally and chemically incompatible combined within one matrix to provide at least one substantially continuous surface. The system may also comprise an aqueous soluble or dispersible polymeric film cover.
