Abstract: Provided is a toilet system that can provide more detailed information about a use state of a toilet. The toilet system includes: a detection unit (a door lock sensor, a seating sensor, a rotation sensor, a toilet washing switch, etc.) which detects a situation inside a toilet stall; and a control unit which determines, based on a detection result of the detection unit, that the toilet stall is in a vacant state or in an used state, and further makes at least one of a determination that the toilet stall in the used state is in a state immediately after a start of use and a determination that the toilet stall in the used state is in a state immediately before an end of use, and outputs a signal including determination results.

Abstract: A functional arrangement in a cabin of a vehicle includes a monument with a housing having several side walls, which define an interior space, and at least two adjacently arranged seats each having a backrest and headrest. The seats adjoin an exterior side of a first side wall of the housing, and have a seating direction facing away from the first side wall. The first side wall includes a first surface portion that is located at least sectionally behind the headrests of the at least two seats in a vertical direction and includes at least one bulge extending at least in a horizontal direction between two adjacently lying headrests. At least one piece of equipment is situated in the interior space, extends into the at least one bulge and is usable in the interior space of the monument.

Abstract: A transportable building comprising a modular element constructed from a plurality of steel or aluminum intermodal shipping containers is disclosed. The method of manufacture greatly reduces the cost of constructing the transportable building. The transportable building can be set up at a site and later easily dismantled and moved, providing flexibility to temporarily set up a business without the need to build and maintain a permanent structure.

Abstract: A building in which a core is attached to a ground floor foundation slab; a roof is attached to the upper end of the core; floors of any desired planar shape are attached to the core at the appropriate heights, intermediate the roof and the ground floor foundation slab; and wall panels are attached between the roof and the ground floor foundation slab around the periphery of the building. To this end, embodiments utilize furniture arrangements where the bed and/or sofa are turned at an angle to the walls of the room, and the room is laid out efficiently to account for this different design affect.

A combination of inherent stiffness of the plate material, the ridges (50) and welding to both edge (4) and internal (11) structural members achieves sufficient stiffness of the floor to allow it to be tiled off-site during manufacture because the floor is thin, there is no need for the builder to provide a recess in the concrete on-site.

Abstract: A corner bench for a shower is constructed by placing a beam diagonally between adjacent walls of the shower. The ends of the beam are supported on the upwardly facing edges of tile pieces which are attached to the shower walls. A triangular platform is then placed on top of the beam and the upper edges of these tile pieces to create the bench. Abstract: A method of forming a wall unit having a veneer face is disclosed. Initially, a pair of side wall panels and a pair of end panels are mounted substantially upright. Stones or other suitable material are set sequentially in a horizontally disposed course using at least one of the panels. Additional courses of stones or other material may then be stacked upon the initial layer until the desired height is attained. The interior volume of the apparatus is left substantially empty, and is then filled with a binding material. The binding material binds the courses' components together and integrates the individual courses into a single cohesive unit. The wall and end panels are removed and the unit is removed for subsequent installation.

Abstract: The invention is a flange device used for flush mounting construction fixture or hardware trims. The invention reduces the potential of a hair line crack between dissimilar materials. The invention can be molded, extruded or otherwise formed into nearly any shape and designed to work with a large variety of different fixtures, hardware and trims.
