Abstract: Catheter monitor integration with patient support systems, such as patient beds, and with other healthcare communication systems including hand hygiene systems is provided. A patient bed that transmits bed data and catheter monitor data is disclosed. When catheter tubing is connected to a catheter monitor integrated into a patient bed, the bed automatically implements a falls prevention protocol. A countdown timer pertaining to removal of catheter tubing from a patient is displayed on one or more display devices. Monitoring for caregiver handwashing compliance in connection with use of a catheter monitor or a catheter kit is also provided.

Abstract: A tile-ready base includes a triangular top wall disposed in a horizontal plane when the base is secured to a corner. A first side wall depends from a first edge of the top wall and abuts a first vertical wall of a building. A second side wall depends from a second edge of the top wall and abuts a second vertical wall of the building. A front wall depends from a front edge of the triangular top wall and interconnects respective forward ends of the first and second side walls. Structural support ribs underlie the top wall and enhance the structural integrity of the base. Concavities are formed in the top wall in close proximity to the first and second side walls. Each concavity receives a screw and facilitates attachment of the base to the corner. The base is installed and tiled with no delay between installation and tiling.

Abstract: A system and method of suspending storage containers is described. The system and method comprise, among other things, coupling sets of garage door track to ceiling joists in such a manner that one or more storage containers may be suspended from the garage door tracks. The garage door tracks are configured to allow for easy placement and removal of one or more storage containers. Additionally, the garage door tracks are positioned or coupled in such a way that when the system is loaded with storage containers, the garage door tracks remain stable.

Abstract: An apparatus and system to removably install, or replace, an awning panel. The awning panel is mounted on a wall or structure or similar vertical surface by insertion into a pair of mounting brackets that have been affixed to the wall. The mounting brackets may be mounted at any distance apart, and thus may accommodate awnings of different sizes. The mounting brackets comprise a right and left bracket, each comprising an angled support art, a holding member, a vertical support member, and a top support member. Supporting members along the sides of the awning panel slide into the space or slot formed by the angled support arm and the holding piece, and is further supported by the angled support arm extending along the underside of the supporting members. The angled support arm may be fixed at a set angle, or may be adjusted to different angles. A cover panel may be used to shield the awning panel, with the cover panel mounted on separate brackets or on the same brackets with the awning panel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for assembling a piece of furniture. The system comprises an elongated track element including a recessed bottom wall having a plurality of equidistantly spaced apart indentations and opposite front flanges defining there between a channel. The system further includes a fitting element having a main portion defining a front surface and opposite rear surface, an arresting pin extending from the rear surface, and a transversal bar extending parallel with the front and rear surfaces. The fitting element is arrested relative to the elongated track element in a three-step operation. The first step involving positioning the fitting element in front of the channel and introducing the transversal bar into the channel. The second step involves rotating the fitting element while maintaining the transversal bar within the channel. The third step involves receiving the arresting pin within a single indentation of the bottom wall.

Abstract: An architectural system adaptable to patient acuity level has a headwall unit with a cavity, a ceiling unit, and a column coupled to the ceiling unit. The column is movable between a first position in which at least a majority of the column is situated in the cavity and a second position in which the column is situated outside the cavity. Various types of patient-care equipment is also disclosed. The patient-care equipment is included in, or is coupleable to, one or more of the ceiling unit, the headwall unit, or the column.

Abstract: Designed for office interior environments and layouts, there is provided a module wall system that comprises a module having a number of cavities and opposite cavities. The modules may include board plates, lateral plates, cover plates, and internal rails that are built to accommodate cables and utilities. The internal rails may be posted throughout the length of such modules and may interconnect with columns. The cavities may have cover plates positioned conveniently to form a structural, functional and decorative composition. The modules are interconnected, structured and fixed with the columns, which can be posted vertically and sitting on feet, to provide better stability. The columns are hollow and fitted with removable column cover for access to wiring or complementary accommodation of decorative objects. Modules may form various convenient work areas or cubicle layouts with functional and aesthetic environments.

Abstract: An aisle enclosure system including ceiling bracket assemblies, ceiling panels, vertical blanking panels, aisle duct adaptors, and accessory rails, for use with equipment racks and ceiling structures in hot-aisle and cold-aisle data centers. The ceiling assemblies may be mounted to the tops of the racks or may be suspended from an area above the racks. The aisle enclosure system further includes a moveable structure that is configured and adapted to position a ceiling panel in an closed position when the moveable structure is in a first position, and position the ceiling panel in an open position when the moveable structure is in a second position, where the moveable structure is configured and adapted to move from the first position to a second position in response to an alarm condition.

The interface strip is coupled to the service unit and arranged along the edge of the service unit between the service unit and the wall-masking panel to interconnect the service unit and the wall-masking panel.

Abstract: A support apparatus includes a patient assist bar that is coupled to a wall or to some other structure in a room of a healthcare facility, such as a headwall that is configured to be coupled to the room wall. The patient assist bar is pivotable a first axis that is substantially vertical and parallel to the headwall and a second axis that is substantially horizontal. The patient assist bar provides the patient with a stable support and guidance in moving about the room.

Abstract: An apparatus and system to removably install, or replace, an awning panel. The support structure has a plurality of horizontal notches. A first plurality of cover sheets are fastened to the cross-beam so as to provide a rest base, and define a housing volume arranged within the rest base. A second plurality of cover sheets are fastened to the upright of the modular support structure so as to provide a wall having plurality of horizontal grooves which provide a passageway for a bracket mount which can be geometrically coupled to a shaped profile that is accommodated within one of the horizontal notches of the support structure. The rest base, with the housing volume, defines a wiring recess suitable to accommodate a plurality of wires.

The various components of the workstation each include a finger engaged in the longitudinal slot of the rail extrusion, wherein the component is able to be horizontally translated along a length of the rail extrusion.

Abstract: A drywall construction and method including an installation element, such as shelving, a cupboard shell, or the like, for the keeping of objects including a frame construction with vertical upright profiles having a C-shaped cross section with legs, wherein the installation element is fastened to the upright profiles. The installation element may have, on at least part of its outer surfaces, a first groove and a second groove parallel to the first groove and spaced away from it, and in a fastening condition, the legs of the upright profiles are inserted into the first groove and the second groove.

Abstract: The training headwall is a self-contained unit that delivers air and vacuum to medical gas outlets. Each training headwall contains a minimum of two motors, one a compressor to provide simulated gas flow, and the other a vacuum pump to provide a vacuum run off of electricity supplied from a standard electrical outlet. Because the training headwalls are not used on actual patients there is no need to deliver actual medical gases. Instead, the compressor pumps air to medical gas outlets that are labeled as desired, and may be attached to the appropriate secondary medical equipment, while the vacuum delivers a vacuum to the appropriately labeled gas outlet. Students may use the training headwall to practice patient care procedures.

Abstract: A leveling assembly for an interior wall system is disclosed. The wall system is composed of a number of wall panels configured for installation in a building having a ceiling and a floor. The assembly includes at least one elongate floor channel secured to the floor and a floor rail longitudinally disposed within the floor channel. The floor rail supports one or more of the wall panels. A number of levelers are positioned along the floor channel. The levelers permit the floor rail to be vertically spaced apart from the floor channel. The levelers are adjustable to level the floor rail in relation to the floor.

In use, each wall has: upper and lower ends; sides spaced apart from one another along a horizontal longitudinal axis; faces spaced apart from one another along a horizontal lateral axis normal to the longitudinal axis. Further, each wall, in use, defines: a longitudinal slot extending from one side to at least partially divide at least one of the faces; and a channel for said slot, said channel extending from the lower end of the wall, between the faces, to said slot to define a void in said wall. Each stand, in use, has: a ground-engaging base; an upright extending from the base within a channel; and a support arm extending transversely from the upright through the slot for which the channel is provided. Each table top is supported in use by one or more support arms.

Panels including mounting elements for being removably mounted to two adjacent vertical members of the frame thus forming a wall run. The vertical members include protrusions to be mounted by the mounting elements. The vertical and horizontal members may be provided with mutually mating locators. Surface mounting elements are provided to be mounted to a surface, the vertical members are mounted to these elements. A region of the vertical members is exposed between adjacent panels. This region can be used to mount display members and the like thereto or be used as a spacer. Levelers are used to bolt the freestanding wall runs to the floor. Perpendicular tabs on the horizontal members are used to connect them to other horizontal members creating dividing wall runs on straight wall runs. Angular or curved brackets are used to shape the wall run accordingly.

The male end portion is receivable into the groove in an adjacent profile. The male end portion includes a cover wall that overlies the attachment wall in a spaced apart relationship. The cover wall includes a bulge for being positioned adjacent the corner and is configured to support the cover wall a distance away from the attachment wall. The male end portion includes a transverse wall extending from the bulge, the transverse wall for overlaying the base wall.

Abstract: A knock-down portable partition system has cover panels supported on a post and beam framework designed for quick and easy on-site manual assembly. The framework includes at least two vertical posts and at least two structural beams rigidly, yet detachably interconnecting the vertical posts. Connectors secure the beams to the posts, such that the partition system can be assembled and disassembled manually. The partition system may include utility troughs shaped to retain wires, cabling, etc. therein to provide power and/or communication to the system. The utility troughs have opposite ends shaped to be detachably mounted to the posts.

Abstract: A partition system for office spaces generally includes a framework and a plurality of different types of decorative and/or functional tiles mountable to the framework. The framework includes I- and C-shaped vertical frame members which are adjustably joined by upper and lower horizontal spanners such that the distance between the vertical frame members is adjustable. Also, the framework may include other types of vertical frame members for forming L-, T-, or X-junctions within the partition system framework. A variety of decorative and functional tiles are mountable to the framework, including retractable workspace tiles, several types of storage tiles, display tiles, window tiles, and electrical and data services tiles.

Abstract: A modular patient room includes a plurality of modular wall panels or units having various configurations. In some embodiments, the modular wall units have water dispensers. Headwall units having water dispensers are also disclosed. The water dispensers are configured to filter water or to sterilize water.

Abstract: A corner bench for a shower is constructed by placing a beam diagonally between adjacent walls of the shower. The ends of the beam are supported on the upwardly facing edges of tile pieces which are attached to the shower walls. The tile pieces are placed on the walls such that their upper edges are horizontal and are coplanar with the top of the beam. A triangular platform is then placed on top of the beam and the upper edges of these tile pieces to create the bench. Tile is then placed on top of the platform and the front of the beam to finish the bench.

Abstract: A partitioning system is disclosed and includes walls, stands and table tops. In use, each wall has: upper and lower ends; sides spaced apart from one another along a horizontal longitudinal axis; faces spaced apart from one another along a horizontal lateral axis normal to the longitudinal axis.
