Abstract: A barrier system is provided including first and at least second barrier elements. At least a portion of the first and second barrier elements have a hollow interior. Barrier connection apparatus is provided for releasably connecting an end of the first barrier element to an end of the at least second barrier element in use. The barrier connection apparatus has connection means provided on or associated with the same which are arranged to allow detachable attachment to each of the first and at least second barrier elements in use. The barrier connection apparatus is arranged and dimensioned so that at least a part of the barrier connection apparatus is insertable into the hollow interior portions of the first and second barrier elements in use in order to releasably connect the first and at least second barrier elements together.

Abstract: A shelving system is provided. The shelving system includes an upper rail, and optionally a lower rail, from which one or more upright supports extend. The upright supports are slidable within the upper and lower rails so that a user may vary their location. A shelf mounts to the upright supports. The shelf includes interlocking deck panels and selectively removable support bars so that it may be assembled onto the upright supports.

The at least one support bracket has an L-shape comprising an attachment arm and a support arm. The first portion and the second portion are connected to each other by means of hinging means, suitable for allowing a rotation and a relative translation between the first portion and the second portion.

Abstract: Provided herein are high energy ion beam generator systems and methods that provide low cost, high performance, robust, consistent, uniform, low gas consumption and high current/high-moderate voltage generation of neutrons and protons. Such systems and methods find use for the commercial-scale generation of neutrons and protons for a wide variety of research, medical, security, and industrial processes.

Abstract: A screen enclosure frame element structured to resist fluid from contacting the anchor is presented. Particularly, the frame element comprises an anchor channel disposed within an interior portion of the frame element between a head surface and a support side; the anchor channel being dimensioned to receive an anchor there through and into an engaging relation with the base. Further, the frame element of at least one embodiment includes at least one anchor retention assembly which at least partially defines the anchor channel. The retention assembly comprises a support wall connected to or a part of an inner side of the head surface at one end, and disposable in a fluid restricting relation with the support base at the other end. Other embodiments include a cap with a curvilinear surface configuration and/or a plurality of support ledges with corrugates surfaces disposed in a fluid restricting relation with the base.

Abstract: An office workwall assembly includes a work frame assembly that includes a pair of vertical frame members, a horizontal frame member extending between and operably coupled to the pair of vertical frame members, wherein the pair of vertical frame members each include at least one longitudinally-extending channel. The frame assembly further includes a pair of frame mounting bracket secured within the at least one channel by at least one mechanical fastener and adapted to be secured to a wall structure and support the frame assembly from the wall structure, wherein the vertical frame members may be vertically, horizontally and/or angularly adjusted with respect to the mounting bracket positioned within the channel. The workwall assembly also includes an office utility assembly operably coupled with and supported by the pair of vertical frame members, wherein the office utility assembly is cantilevered from the frame assembly.

The invented panel additionally may function as a working door or screen, serving to more optimally employ a room volume. The invented panel can be configured to fit various styles of door frames thus being adaptable to various entry or floor space pattern situations. The invented panel may be electrified allowing modular plug-ins to house a wide array of elements.

Abstract: A suspended panel system for vertically hanging a panel is provided. The suspended panel system can include a first connector having a panel mounting portion configured to be coupled to a first edge portion of a panel. The first connector can include a first hook having a first channel open toward the panel. The suspended panel system can also include a second connector configured to be coupled to a mounting surface above the panel. The second connector can include a second hook having a second channel open away from the panel such that the first hook and the second hook removably engage one another by having the first hook engage the second channel and the second hook engage the first channel.

Abstract: A large scale structure includes a plurality of panels, wherein each panel has at least one opening therethrough. And each panel has opposed edge profiles that are positionable next to adjacent panels and opposed end profiles that are positionable next to adjacent panels. A plurality of rods extend through aligned openings so as to interconnect the plurality of panels to one another. And a plurality of coupling nuts, each coupling nut attachable to an end of one of the rods, wherein the coupling nuts secure the panels to one another. An insert with apertures aligned with the openings allows a rod to extend through the insert and facilitate securement of the insert to the plurality of panels so as to form a section. Additional sections can be assembled as needed to form the structure.

A plurality of horizontally spaced and vertically extending stiles are coupled to the rail, with the stiles disposed forwardly of the rear surface of the rail. A plurality of interface components are coupled to the plurality of stiles. In various embodiments, the stiles may be interconnected to draw together adjacent interface components. The interface components also may include overlapping upper and lower edges. The stiles may be vertically and/or horizontally (laterally and longitudinally) adjustable relative to the rail. A lock member may be provided to secure at least one of the stiles to the rail. Various systems and methods of assembly and use are also provided.

Abstract: A modular wall panel system including a series of wall panels connectable to each other. Each of the wall panels is formed from a support frame having a pair of spaced vertical posts and an upper header and a lower sill extending between the vertical posts. The lower sill is received within attachment notches formed in each of the vertical posts near the bottom end of each post. The attachment notches are spaced along the length of the vertical post such that the position of the sill can be adjusted. The lower sill includes a trim channel that receives the bottom of a tile mounted to the support frame. A top cap is attached to the header and engages a top end of the tile to aid in retaining the tile on the support frame. The tile may be a segmented tile having a lower portion and an upper portion joined to each other by a segmented trim channel. The segmented trim channel between the upper and lower portions is not connected to the support frame.

Mounting brackets, each having a first detent member, are positionable within the channel, and engagable with the internal wall portions for fixing themselves against rotation. A longitudinal rail member is slidably positionable within the channel parallel to the vertical axis and has a first set of indexing means arranged along it. At least one support bracket has a main body portion and a second set of one or more indexing means thereon matable with the first set so as to releasably mount the support bracket on the column in indexed relation thereto.

Abstract: A track that can be mounted to, or integrated into, a permanent wall or a partition system wall, and accessory components that are mountable in the track in either one of two orientations. In particular, the accessory component is inserted into the opening of a channel of the track with a first side of the accessory component resting upon a fulcrum surface that is formed in the track. The accessory component is then pivoted about the fulcrum surface allowing a first engagement portion, such as a protrusion formed inside the channel of the track, to engage with a second engagement portion, such as a groove formed in the accessory component. The accessory component has opposing sides with engagement portions formed therein that are engageable with the protrusion formed in the track. Thus, the accessory component can be turned over and inserted in a second, opposite orientation with the first side facing upward.

Abstract: An adjustable wall system comprising horizontal and vertical members for forming a frame. Panels including mounting elements for being removably mounted to two adjacent vertical members of the frame thus forming a wall run. The vertical members include protrusions to be mounted by the mounting elements. The vertical and horizontal members may be provided with mutually mating locators. Surface mounting elements are provided to be mounted to a surface, the vertical members are mounted to these elements. A region of the vertical members is exposed between adjacent panels. This region can be used to mount display members and the like thereto or be used as a spacer. Levelers are used to bolt the freestanding wall runs to the floor. Perpendicular tabs on the horizontal members are used to connect them to other horizontal members creating dividing wall runs on straight wall runs. Angular or curved brackets are used to shape the wall run accordingly.

Abstract: A building wall or roof is formed of tubular structural members arranged in parallel, planar, spaced-apart relation. Saddle-shaped structural members having strengthening portions are respectively mounted on the tubular members with a clearance space, and thermal and/or acoustical insulation is interposed in the clearance space between the strengthening portions and the tubular members. As compared to conventional tubular log structures, the resulting wall or roof is resistant to horizontal forces generated by the wind or earthquakes and is faster and easier to construct and, furthermore, considerably better performing in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation without having to increase its thickness on an otherwise proportionate basis.

The second support member being further attached to the component. In a preferred embodiment, one or both of the second support members include a rotatable cam member that releasably engages the component. A method is also provided for configuring a wall panel with an off-module component.

Abstract: A furniture system includes a low-height partition having a horizontal row of discrete attachment sites, such as slots on each side, and having a top surface. A binder bin has a continuous horizontal attachment feature, such as an “L” groove, along an upper portion of its rear side. A bracket system attaches the binder bin to the partition in a raised position, and includes a bent-rod top bracket and bottom brackets configured to engage the slots on opposite sides of the partition. The binder bin is initially attached at a desired location along the partition by selectively engaging the brackets with the slots and by engaging the bracket with the groove. The angle of the binder bin is adjustable with respect to the top surface of the partition by threadably finely adjusting a nut on the brackets.

The bracket includes a first member configured to extend around at least a portion of a first side of the upright frame member. The first member includes a connector adapted to engage the openings in the first side face of the upright frame member. The bracket also includes a second member configured to extend around at least a portion of a second side of the upright frame member. The second member includes a connector adapted to engage openings in a second side face of the upright frame member.
