With Water Additive Dnrm Patents (Class 524/60)
  • Patent number: 4410646
Abstract: Synthetic form masses are described which are derived from thermoplastic polyolefins as well as mixed and copolymerisates thereof and a coal liquification product. The coat liquification product is a residue which precipitates out during extractive hydrogenation and has a softening point between 70.degree. and 200.degree. C. The thermoplastic polyolefin contains a component of polar, aromatic or cyclic monomers, which improve the compatibility of the components in the mixture. The form masses from this mixture, which may include filler material, have excellent tear resistance properties.

  • Patent number: 4374216
Abstract: This invention provides a non-gelling water-in-oil high solids slurry dispersion of water-soluble polymer. The slurry dispersion composition contains between about 40-80 weight percent of water-soluble polymer, and is prepared by dehydrating a water-in-oil dispersion of synthetic water-soluble polymer, and then slurrying a quantity of finely divided water-soluble polymer into the dehydrated dispersion.

  • Patent number: 4361663
Abstract: This invention relates to pressure sensitive adhesive compositions which includes a hydrogenated block copolymer such as Kraton G, about 25 to about 250 parts by weight of a hydrocarbon resin of a petroleum or coal tar distillate, aliphatic dienes and mono- and diolefins, cyclic olefins of 5 or 6 carbon atoms and hydrogenated poly cyclics per 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated block copolymer, and about 25 to 200 parts by weight of a polybutene or polyisobutylene per 100 parts of the hydrogenated block copolymer, wherein said mixture of Kraton G, said hydrocarbon resin and said polybutene or polyisobutylene are dissolved in a non-reactive solvent at a concentration level of about 5 to about 25 grams per 100 mil of non-reactive solvent.

  • Patent number: 4351750
Abstract: Quick setting, anionic bitumen emulsion compositions, suitable for road paving, recreational surfaces, etc., are formulated by emulsifying the bitumen in water with an ammonium or alkali metal salt of a hydrocarbon-substituted sulfuric, sulfonic, phosphoric or phosphonic acid emulsifier, mixing the emulsion with a fine aggregate and, prior to spreading the aggregate emulsion mixture, introducing an alkaline earth metal set initiator. The resulting composition rapidly breaks to a hard cohesive structure, so as to permit early use by traffic.
