Aryl-oh Or Salt Thereof As Dnrm Patents (Class 524/736)
  • Patent number: 4760099
Abstract: A storage-stable premix composition for use in a foam-forming reaction with an organic polyisocyanate in the manufacture of a polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foam comprising(a) at least one polyol,(b) at least one halogenated organic blowing agent,(c) at least one amine catalyst, and(d) a stabilizing amount of at least one polyvalent metal-containing organometallic compound. Some organometallic compounds of the invention have a slight catalytic effect but do not have the pronounced activity of conventional urethane and isocyanurate catalysts such as dibutyltin dilaurate and stannous octoate.

  • Patent number: 4477624
Abstract: A heat-resistant synthetic resin composition, which comprises (A) 15 to 60% by weight of a film-forming synthetic resin soluble in a phenolic solvent and (B) 85 to 40% by weight of a phenolic solvent, said film-forming synthetic resin containing at least 30% by weight of a polyamide imide type resin obtained by causing (a) a tricarboxylic acid and/or an anhydride thereof containing citric acid and (b) a diisocyanate and/or a derivative obtained by masking diisocyanate with a phenolic compound in amounts of substantially equal moles to react in the phenolic solvent.

  • Patent number: 4391937
Abstract: A composition containing a chelated titanium compound and an additive selected from the group consisting of (1) esters of thioalkanoic acids, (2) di-tertiary-butyl phenol containing compounds, (3) organic phosphites, and (4) mixtures of (2) and (3), retards the color change of the composition on storage. When this composition is used as the catalyst for one package, room temperature curing silicone elastomeric compositions of the type comprising a hydroxyl endblocked polydiorganosiloxane and a silane having an average of from 2.01 to 4 inclusive alkoxy radicals, the silicone elastomeric composition can be stored without substantial color formation. The improvement in reduced color change is useful in silicone elastomeric compositions which are clear or light colored.
