    Abstract: Hydrocarbon polymers with grafts of polyethers, polylactones, or polyesters from the reaction of phosgene with glycols having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms are disclosed as having good release properties or low adhesion to hydrocarbon rubber materials. The hydrocarbon backbone polymers include EPDM, hydrogenated polybutadiene, and hydrogenated poly(styrene-butadiene) all said polymers having pendant succinic anhydride groups or brominated p-methylstyrene-isobutylene copolymers. The above-referenced graft copolymers along with butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber or epichlorohydrin polymers or copolymers are described as useful polymers to make self-release curing bladders or sleeves for use in making molded articles such as pneumatic tires.

    Abstract: A thermoplastic resin composition is provided which contains a thermoplastic resin and a colorant in the form of a polyalkyleneoxy-trifluoromethyl aniline colorant provided in said thermoplastic resin in a minor amount sufficient to provide coloration to said resin, said colorant having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from H, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to about 10 carbon atoms, CH.sub.2 Cl, CH.sub.2 Br, CH.sub.2 OH, phenyl or ##STR2## wherein R.sub.4 is H or a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to about 9 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is H, CF.sub.3, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to about 9 carbon atoms, Cl or Br; R.sub.3 is an aromatic or heteroaromatic containing group, and n is an integer from 2 to about 75.

    Abstract: Described is photochromic particulate material comprising a photochromic substance within a matrix of a polymerizate of a polyfunctional acrylate monomer. The photochromic particulate material may be produced by adding an organic photochromic substance to a polymerizable composition including a polyfunctional acrylate monomer and polymerizing the resultant admixture, e.g., by emulsion polymerization. In the case of emulsion or suspension polymerization, finely divided particulate organic photochromic materials are separated from the polymerization medium in the form of spheroidal thermoset photochromic particles of fairly uniform size. If desired, the particles recovered from the polymerization medium may be further ground in conventional attrition mills to further reduce the size of the particulate product. In the case of bulk polymerization, the polymerizate may be formed as a continuously cast sheet, which is then pulverized to a particulate material of pigmentary size.
