The air cleaner includes a rotation brush unit installed on the inner wall surface of the front panel to face the front surface of the mesh-type filter body and adapted to rotate while maintaining contact with the front surface of the mesh-type filter body. When the air-drawing unit stops operation, the rotation brush unit is operated to remove dust accumulated on the surface of the mesh-type filter body of the filter assembly, which is installed near the air inlet.

Abstract: A brush configured to move repeatedly over a vacuum filter. The brush will remove dust particles to prevent them from clogging the filter. In the preferred embodiment, the brush is mounted on a revolving shaft. As the shaft turns it moves the bristles of the brush over the surface of the filter, whereby dust particles may be dislodged. In one embodiment, the shaft is attached to the vacuum motor and is turned directly by the motor. In this embodiment a speed reducer may be employed to slow the rate of rotation of the brush. In another embodiment, a turbine is attached to the shaft. The turbine is placed in the path of the air stream moving through the vacuum. The air passing through the turbine cause it and the shaft to rotate, thereby reducing the load on the motor.

Abstract: A filter assembly for removing filtrate from industrial process streams. The assembly includes a housing in which a filter element is disposed. The filter element has a surface against which the filtrate is trapped. A cleaning head to which cleaning blades are attached is disposed in the housing and removes the trapped filtrate. An actuator tube extends through the housing. Internal to the actuator tube is a first magnet. Pressurized gas is selectively applied to the ends of the actuator tube to move the first magnet in the tube. A second magnet is attached to the cleaning head. The second magnet is magnetically coupled to the first magnet so the second magnet moves with the first magnet. Thus, the movement of the first magnet is transferred by the second magnet to the clean head so the cleaning blades move against the filter element.
