  • Publication number: 20090069592
Abstract: A phenyl tin compound is synthesized by using a derivative having various functional groups and a bromo- or iodo-benzene ring as a labeling material of a radioactive ligand. On the other hand, a novel hydroxytosyl iodobenzene compound having an electron-donating group is obtained by oxidizing iodobenzene having one or more electron-donating groups and reacting it with tosylic acid. Then, a diphenyliodonium salt which is a labeling precursor is synthesized by reacting the resulting compound with various phenyl tin compounds. Finally, a 18F-labeled ligand having various functional groups and a [18F] fluorobenzene ring is synthesized by reacting the resulting diphenyliodonium salt with [18F]F?.

  • Publication number: 20040116733
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bismuth-type promoter and its use as a Lewis acid catalyst for acylation reactions of aromatic compounds. The promoter corresponds to the formula MY&mgr;−q&xgr;q, where M represents a &mgr;-valent and at least trivalent element in the cationic form, preferably known to give Lewis acids, where Y is a monovalent anion or a monovalent anionic functional group, where &xgr;− represents an anion or an anionic functional group carrying a sulfonyl functional group carried by a perhalogenated atom, preferably a perfluorinated atom, more preferably a perfluoromethylene (—CF2—); and where q is an integer advantageously chosen within the closed range (comprising the limits) ranging from 1 to (&mgr;−1) (that is to say, 1 or 2 when &mgr; is 3). The present application also relates to processes for the preparation of the promoter.

  • Patent number: 5684183
Abstract: The invention is related to a method for preparing 4-alkyl-2-hydroxy-3,5-dichlorobenzene sulphonic acids by sulphonating 4-chloro-3-alkylphenol and by chlorinating 4-alkyl-2-hydroxy-5-chlorobenzene sulphonic acid present in an acidic reaction mixture. According to the invention, chlorination is carried out by adding, to the acidic reaction mixture, salts of hypochlorous and/or chloric acids and, when needed, hydrochloric acid or its salt.

  • Patent number: 5371291
Abstract: The invention is a new process for preparing 4,6-diaminoresorcinol, a precursor to polybisbenzoxazoles. The desired product is prepared from resorcinol by incorporating a halo group on the 2-position of resorcinol to form 2-haloresorcinol, then nitrating selectively at the 4- and 6-positions of the 2-haloresorcinol to form 2-halo-4,6-dinitroresorcinol, then hydrogenating the 2-halo-4,6-dinitroresorcinol. The selective incorporation of a halo group on the 2-position of resorcinol is accomplished by sulfonating resorcinol at the 4- and 6-positions.
