Kneading Or Deep Pressure Patents (Class 601/134)
  • Publication number: 20100179460
Abstract: A massage device includes a housing, a driving unit and two massage units driven by the driving unit. Each massage unit includes a planetary gear disc assembled with a universal joint, an inner gear engaged with the planetary gear disc, and a massage disc assembly disposed on a top of the inner gear and driven by the universal joint. The driving unit drives the planet gear disc to rotate and the universal joint drives the massage disc assembly to rotate, thereby providing kneading massage. The inner gear has an incline top surface. When the planet gear disc drives the inner gear to rotate, the incline top surface makes the massage balls on the massage disc assembly to move up and down, thereby providing patting massage. Thus, the massage device can produce kneading and patting massage actions.

Abstract: A massaging apparatus which is capable of strongly pressing and alleviating the stiffness of the muscle safely without causing displacement of the body of a user or the massaging apparatus by it self is provided. The massaging apparatus is formed with an obliquely projecting projection toward the root of the neck of the user when the user places the head in a stable manner in the lying-down position, so that it has an optimum structure and shape for finding and alleviating the stiffness of the pinpoint located at a deep portion at the boundary portion between the shoulder and a neck, which is specifically effective to give a massage for alleviating the stiffness.

Abstract: In a massaging device, a treating section 3 has a body plate 4 formed of a flexible material and a plurality of protrusions intersecting the surface of the body plate and protruding downwardly. A massaging device main body has a reciprocal drive mechanism that deflects the body plate up and down. The small wall-like protrusions smaller than the third protrusions are provided on the surface of the body plate, and communicating portions communicating the interior with the exterior are provided inside the small wall-like protrusions. A containing portion for shampoo that is communicated with the communicating portions is provided between the massaging device main body and the body plate. A shampoo is applied inside the small wall-like protrusions with the surface of the body plate facing upwardly, and is supplied to the containing portion. The shampoo is whipped correspondingly to the deflection of the body plate while supplied from the communicating portions to perform hair washing and scalp massaging.

Abstract: An apparatus for massaging calves is able to adjust a distance between two plates, the apparatus having at least two plates that are arranged at a distance from one another and that come into contact with the calf during massage on both sides thereof, and having a drive shaft, the plates being connected to the drive shaft by coupling members in such a manner that a rotational movement of the drive shaft brings about a movement of the plates for carrying out the calf massage. A distance adjusting mechanism is also provided in order to adapt the distance between the two plates to the size of the calf to be massaged.

Abstract: The present invention is a wrist massager particularly applying to the wrist part of human being adopting acupressure theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in order to circumvent wrist musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). It comprises a wrist band operably engaged a control panel 4 and a motorised cushion housing 2 with protruding massage means3. The wrist band added with size-adjustable mechanism is designed for users to fit their wrist into the massager comfortably and firmly. It contains a motor/motors to produce vibration and deliver reciprocating and/or rotary massaging effect via the massage means3. Alternatively, the wrist massager is a plate 8 with planar bottom and a housing placed on the surface of the plate 8. A detachable massaging means protrudes from the surface of the said housing.
