Abstract: A massage mechanism includes a housing containing substantially uni-directional roller components. The rollers are able to rotate in one direction, but either not easily or not at all in the opposite direction. Each roller of a total of two rollers is able to rotate in a direction that is opposite of the other roller. The effect of the described configuration is that as the roller massage device moves across a skin surface of a patient, a leading edge roller is able to roll, while a trailing edge roller is held stationary, or substantially stationary. The stationary roller on the trailing edge of the roller massage device pushes against the skin, generating a skin fold. The skin fold can be further generated and magnified by the provision of a vacuum pressure within a chamber of the roller massage device, suctioning the skin up into the device, working in conjunction with the rollers. In addition, an electromagnetic force can be applied to the skin fold.

An upper side can be domed or curved in a cylindrical arc, and includes an array of outward projections. The lower surface includes a substrate gripping feature for gripping a carpet or floor. The foot rest can be used in either a sitting or standing position and is inexpensive to manufacture.

Abstract: A massage member comprises an elongated member having an outer periphery and made of soft material. Two groups of protrusions are formed on the outer periphery of the elongated member and spaced apart by a portion of a length of the elongated member. Each group of protrusions includes a plurality of rows of protrusions. Each row of protrusions is annularly arranged on the outer periphery of the elongated member. In each group of protrusions, each of one row of protrusions has a radial length that is shorter than that each of another row of protrusions that is more far away from the portion of the length of the elongated member. The groups of protrusions together define a neck receiving area for receiving and massaging a neck of a body.

Abstract: A massage cushion has a body. A plurality of first protrusions and a plurality of second protrusions are formed on a side of the body. Each first protrusion and each second protrusion are made of the same material. A diameter of a root portion of each first protrusion is greater than that of a root portion of each second protrusion. The first protrusions and the second protrusions are so constructed that the buttocks of a person sitting on the side of the body are in contact with at least one of the first protrusions and at least one of the second protrusions. The first protrusions on the body cover an area that corresponds to an area occupied by buttocks of a person sitting on the side of the body.
