Abstract: A massaging assembly includes a massaging apparatus and a movable lower-back supporting member. The massaging apparatus includes a hollow casing with a top wall and a front wall, a rest member disposed on top of the top wall, and a driving unit mounted in the casing. The driving unit extends through the top wall of the casing so as to connect with and drive reciprocatingly the rest member from side to side. The lower-back supporting member is to be disposed spacedly from the front wall of the casing and parallel to direction of reciprocating movement of the rest member. The supporting member includes a base and a slide plate mounted slidably on top of the base. The slide plate is slidable in a direction parallel to the direction of reciprocating movement of the rest member.
Abstract: A chair-type polyfunctional automatic massager which can be used selectively for either a rubbing motion or a finger pressing motion, is driven by one motor and can provide 5 different kinds of movements selectively at will by making the starter apparatus installed in the back of a chair raise and lower. The massager is made up of a driving mechanism which can independently rotate two kinds of driven shafts depending on the direction of rotation of a main spindle rotated by a starter motor. A driven shaft is attached to a rubbing ball mechanism and another driven shaft is attached to a finger pressing mechanism, with both mechanisms linked to a starter device through a connecting mechanism provided between the two mechanisms. A raising and lowering mechanism for the unit is connected with a tapping spindle which can rotate in a forward or reverse direction and is linked to a motor for raising and lowering the unit.

Abstract: A massaging chair includes a base frame supported on a wheeled support, a back support pivoted about a pivot on a mounting frame the at bottom of the base frame, a crank lever controlled lock device controlled to lock the back support in any of a series of sloping positions, elastic members connected between the back support and the mounting frame. The elastic members are stretched when the back support is released from the lock device and turned backward. A retractable supporting bar is fastened to the back support by a lock screw, and a back rest on the back support is vertically pivoted to the retractable supporting bar. A plurality of brackets are horizontally pivoted to the back rest at different elevations to hold rotating massaging wheels.
Abstract: A bedstead mounted on a bedframe is divided into a plurality of separation pieces. The separation pieces are set swingable on the bedframe. A drive shaft is provided on the bedframe. The drive shaft is rotationally; driven by a driver. The rotational motion of the drive shaft is converted by a power transmitting device to an up and down motion whereby the separation pieces are so driven as to be swingable over the bedframe.
Abstract: A mechanized traction chair is disclosed that employs a motor operated underarm support device that in combination with a restrictive seat belt provides forced traction to the upper torso. A lower seating assembly provides a variable articulating motion to the lower torso.
Abstract: A massage apparatus for massaging ankles or calves by means of reciprocating movement, comprising driving means which drives a bearing seat and a bearing fixed thereto to eccentrically rotate; the bearing being closely fitted in a slant guide area disposed in front of a self-lubricating sliding member which is pushed to reciprocate in lateral directions along a set of shafts when the bearing is driven by the driving means to eccentrically rotate and generates a horizontal component applying on the wall of the slant guide area; and a rest member for supporting a user's ankles or calves being connected to top end of the sliding member is thereby do lateral reciprocating movement to provide the chiropractic and massage effect on the user's ankles or calves.
Abstract: A foot massager includes a casing, an L-shaped mount having a horizontal wall fastened to the bottom of the casing and a vertical wall upstanding from the bottom of the casing, a motor horizontally mounted on the L-shaped mount, a foot rest suspended above the casing, an eccentric wheel driven by the motor through the mandrel of a speed reducing gear to oscillate the foot rest through an oscillating element via two links vertically disposed in parallel, each link having a top end pivoted to the vertical wall of the L-shaped mount and a bottom end pivoted to the oscillating element.
