Named Fusible Bonding Material Employed Patents (Class 65/59.22)
  • Patent number: 11920404
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing vacuum insulation glass is provided. The apparatus for manufacturing the vacuum insulation glass includes a cap frit disposed on an exhaust hole, and an exhaust finishing frit provided on a bottom surface of the cap frit and including a frit formed of a glass material. The exhaust finishing frit is dispensed, in the paste form, to the cap frit such that the exhaust finishing frit is easily aligned with the cap frit.

  • Patent number: 9016091
Abstract: A glass layer 3 is irradiated with laser light L2 for temporary firing in order to gasify a binder and melt the glass layer 3, thereby fixing the glass layer 3 to a glass member 4. Here, an irradiation region of the laser light L2 has regions A1, A2 arranged along an extending direction of a region to be fused R and is moved along the region to be fused R such that the region A1 precedes the region A2. The region A2 irradiates the glass layer 3 before the glass layer 3 molten by irradiation with the region A1 solidifies. This makes the glass layer 3 take a longer time to solidify, whereby the binder gasified by irradiation with the region A1 of the laser light L2 is more likely to escape from the glass layer 3.

  • Publication number: 20040083762
Abstract: Disclosed are a component assembly for an electrical lighting device and method for sealing the same. The assembly comprises the component, such as an electrode lead wire, and a solder glass perform. The component assembly is useful, for example, in hermetically sealing and affixing lamp components, such as electrical lead wires and exhaust tubulation, to a low-pressure fluorescent discharge lamp envelope having phosphor coating already applied thereto without causing damage to other lamp components sensitive to high temperature. The present invention is particularly suitable for lamp envelope made of borosilicate glass having a CTE from 0 to 300° C. in the range of 30-45×10−7° C.−1.

  • Patent number: 6698242
Abstract: In the method according to the invention cold or unheated hardened glass and/or glass-ceramic parts are bonded together with a metallic ductile joining material, preferably silver, copper, aluminum or an alloy of those metals, to form a brittle article. The parts to be joined in an initial unheated state are placed with the metallic ductile joining material between them in a high frequency alternating field with frequencies preferably from 100 to 500 kHz. Then the joining material is inductively heated locally to melt it by means of the alternating field and the parts are pressed together to form a sufficiently strong bond between the parts.
