  • Patent number: 8567087
Abstract: A mop wringer comprises a housing supporting a first roller and a second roller. The first roller is supported by the housing in a first position where the first roller is spaced from the second roller a first distance and in a second position where the first roller is spaced from the second roller a second distance. The second roller is supported on an arm where the arm moves relative to the housing to move the second roller toward and away from the first roller between a third position and a fourth position. A drive mechanism moves the arm between the third position and the fourth position and rotates the roller in the fourth position.

  • Patent number: 7861561
Abstract: A portable wringer includes a housing having upper and lower ends and defining an open interior area therebetween. The portable wringer also includes first and second rollers positioned inside the open interior area, the first and second rollers being accessible through the housing and movable relative to one another so as to cooperatively pass an item therebetween. A crank handle is operatively connected to the rollers for causing at least one of the rollers to rotate. A plurality of legs are coupled to the housing adjacent the lower end of the housing with each leg being pivotable between a storage configuration and a deployed configuration. The legs may be telescopic for length adjustment thereof. The portable wringer includes a removable tray positionable in the housing beneath the first and second rollers for collecting a liquid initially associated with the item passed between the rollers.

  • Patent number: 5349720
Abstract: A mop wringer which includes a combination of a pail and lid wherein the lid can be locked to the pail. A first roller is mounted for rotation about a first axis in the lid while the lid includes an opening and a lid panel is hinged to the lid within the opening. The hinged panel rotates about a hinged axis parallel to the first axis and a second roller is mounted to the hinged panel in an area of the hinged panel remote from the second hinged axis and where the second roller is adjacent the first roller and forms a nip therebetween. Spring means extend between the lid and the hinged panel to urge the hinged panel towards a closed position with the first and second rollers adjacent each other, but the hinged panel can be pressed downwardly to provide access through the opening for a mop.
