  • Patent number: 10992119
Abstract: An electric spinning pliers apparatus includes a housing, a plier head coupled to a rotatable shaft, and a head-operating handle. The housing may have a wire sleeve stripper, an iris door, one or more controls, and an indicator light. The electric spinning pliers apparatus utilizes the wire sleeve stripper to cut an outer sleeve of a group of wires, exposing individual wires. Each individual wire may be stripped by the iris door, while the plier head may grasp and rotate, via a motor, each of the individual wires into a single unit. The plier head may then twist a wire nut on the twisted wires.

  • Patent number: 10376982
Abstract: A hand tool for welding-torch maintenance, which can remove sputter adhering to a nozzle with sufficient working efficiency. The hand tool has a pair of metal stays turnably supported by a pivoting axis. The metal stays comprises grips handled by a user, 1st pinchings used for pulling a welding-wire, and 2nd pinchings used for removing sputter adhering to the nozzle. The 1st pinchings are configured so as to be inserted into the nozzle when the metal stays are closed. The 2nd pinchings have projections which are extended outside from the backs of the 1st pinchings and thrown out towards heads of the 1st pinchings. The sputter adhering to the inner-and-outer circumferential surfaces and end face of the nozzle are removed by inserting the 1st pinchings into the nozzle, inserting the end of the nozzle between the 2nd pinchings and the 1st pinchings, and moving the tool to scratch the sputter off the inner-and-outer circumferential surfaces and the end face of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 10046454
Abstract: A tool head for easy attachment and detachment to a handle is provided for configurations such as axes, picks, shovels, sledges, hatches, and hoes. The tool head includes two clamps, one clamp being threadingly engaged on a shaft that freely rotates within the tool head. To attach the tool head to a handle, the user rotates the shaft which moves the clamps together and compresses the handle there between first clamp moves towards a second clamp. To detach, the shaft is counter rotated thereby decompressing the handle. When detached from a handle, the clamps turn and nest in two cutouts within the tool head allowing for compact storage or packing. Integrally formed features that include scraper, blade, wrenches, gut hook, cord cutter, carabineer, and the like provide the user in the field needed tools when fashioning a handle from a sapling or stick.

  • Publication number: 20110030145
Abstract: An insulating hand tool having handles of insulating material located at or towards one end of the hand tool capable of being grasped by a person using the hand tool and work elements located at or towards the another end of the hand tool at the nose or head of the tool wherein the work elements include a jaw insert retaining portion for receiving a replaceable cutting insert therein in such a manner to substantially insulate the cutter of the insert from the remainder of the tool to reduce the chance of injuring the person using the tool in the event the cutter contacts a live conductor. The insert is replaceable so that, should the insert be damaged in use, the damaged insert can be replaced by an exchange insert obviating the need to discard the entire tool since only the damaged insert need be replaced.

  • Patent number: 6725546
Abstract: A cutting tool having first and second lever arms with a cutting end and a handle end. A first insert and a second insert are connected to the cutting ends of each of the lever arms. The inserts are removable from the cutting ends of the lever arms, and each of the inserts include multiple cutting edges. When the inserts are connected to the cutting ends of the lever arms and the user pulls the handle ends towards each other, the cutting ends also move toward each other. As the cutting ends move toward each other, the inserts act cooperatively to sever materials located therebetween. When one of the cutting edges of an insert becomes dulled or damaged, the user removes the insert from the cutting end of the lever arm and repositions the insert on the cutting end such that a different cutting edge is revealed for severing materials.

  • Patent number: 6081952
Abstract: An electrical T-fastener pliers has jaws (1, 3) with grip bays (8, 9, 39, 40) that are positioned on T-joint fastener jaws (15, 16, 17, 18) to be clamped onto targeted wires (19) by hand-squeezing handles (2, 4) of the electrical pliers. Jaws of the T-joint fasteners (12) are pressured against jaws of the pliers by outward pressure of outwardly sprung T-joint fasteners against designedly opened pliers jaws or optionally by inward pressure of the pliers jaws against jaws of unsprung T-joint fasteners (13). This provides a spring-pressured containment of a T-joint fastener while the pliers are being positioned in T-joining relationship to targeted electrical wiring. The handles can be extended at angles from the jaws to position a bottom handle designedly removed from a working surface in order to provide finger space between a working surface and in order to facilitate positioning the jaws under wires in close proximity to surfaces.

  • Patent number: 5711182
Abstract: A crimping tool includes first and second elongated members, each of which has a front jaw portion, a middle pivot portion and a rear handle portion. The crimping tool further includes a fastener which extends through the pivot portions to mount pivotally the first and second elongated members to each other in such a manner that the first and second elongated members are movable pivotally towards each other from an open position to a closed position. The rear handle portion of each of the first and second elongated members has an inner longitudinal edge formed with a wire stripping section and a lobe member. The lobe members of the first and second elongated members cooperatively prevent movement of the first and second elongated members away from each other in a direction parallel to an axis of the fastener when the first and second elongated members are operated such that the wire stripping sections of the first and second elongated members cooperatively strip an insulation layer of an electrical wire.

  • Patent number: 5033195
Abstract: In tools for clipping material of different hardness and dimensions, there are required blade-portions (1, 2) having different characterics. A pliers jaw, the blade-portion of which is formed with different edge angles (a.alpha..sub.1, .alpha..sub.2), different edge radii and different widths (b, B) on its outer chamfer surface (5) results in a tool which is usable for different materials. By configuring different cutting areas (6, 7) by distinctly machining the jaw, the right cutting area can easily be localized for the material in question that is to be cut.
