  • Patent number: 11975440
Abstract: Described herein is a novel lanyard system for removable pieces connected to and detached from a piece receiver of a power tool. The system includes one or more lanyard assemblies, each with a two ended strap and a retraction system fixed to the tool all in a storage region outside of the tool. In particular, one end of the strap is connected to the piece and the other strap end is connected to one end of the retraction system. The other end of the retraction system is connected to the outside of the tool. The strap is of sufficient length for the retraction system to retract a piece to the storage region outside the tool after disconnection from the piece receiver. It is contemplated that the retraction system includes at least one spring assembly to cause the lanyard system to remain under tension while the piece is mounted in a piece receiver, thereby preventing or at least reducing the strap from interfering with the task at hand, the piece, the piece receiver or tool itself.

  • Patent number: 11219956
Abstract: A peeler device removes a thin layer from the outer surface of the end of a plastic pipe or tapping tee. In the preferred embodiments, the device has a main body and a mandrel. The pipe to be peeled is pushed onto the mandrel when the mandrel is in an out position. As the main body is rotated, a blade advances onto the plastic pipe and peels a thin layer off the outer surface of the pipe as it is advanced. The main body is rotated until peeling is complete. There may be a sight window in the main body to permit visual confirmation of when peeling is complete. A spring loaded blade lever is actuated to raise the blade and the pipe is pulled out of the main body.

  • Patent number: 8622667
Abstract: An adapter to convert an electric drill motor being configured with a standard drill bit into a screw gun includes a metal enclosure which slides over a drill chuck to accommodate drill bit and chuck portions. The device also provides a mechanical coupling pin which engages a chuck key aperture to communicate the rotary motion of the drill motor to the device. Once installed upon the drill motor, the device enables connection of standard bit sockets, screwdriver adapters, or similar driving tools. In such a manner, the user can drill a hole, slide the device over the drill chuck, and drive a fastener using the device. Abstract: A handy tool pen is mainly constituted, for example, to write a brief summary and to implement a repair of hardware equipment. A hollow shaft 20 has a working end at a proximal end, where a hole axially formed through a center. A handwriting instrument of the refills is thereby stretched out from the working end, or retracted in the working end. When the handwriting instrument stretched out from the hole can write well, while the handwriting instrument retracted in the working end, which can implement a repair for hardware equipment. As well known, a spring fit around a circular cylindrical surface of the refills can urge the refills descend downward to stretch out the handwriting instrument to write, and also can urge the refills elevate upward to retract in the working end, which use for repairing office equipment or even hardware.
