    Abstract: An anti-unlocked mechanism comprises a transmission gear, a sliding rod, a locking member and a first elastic member. The transmission gear includes an arc surface. An end of the sliding rod contacts the deadbolt of the lock body. The sliding rod is provided with a fixed stopper and a second elastic member. When the deadbolt is retracted, the sliding rod moves with the deadbolt against the elastic force of the second elastic member. When the deadbolt extends, the locking member moves with the sliding rod to block the rotation of the rotating part. The first elastic member comprises first and second protrusions. The second protrusion will not hinder the fixed stopper of the slide rod unless the first protrusion contacts with the circular arc surface, which will block the movement of the locking member to block rotation of the rotating part.

The mortise lock cannot be unlocked by operating an outside lever. When an inside lever is depressed, the lever hub assembly is driven to cause the rocker arm to push away a hooking lever and a knob spindle assembly, thereby retracting the deadbolt and the latch bolt and simultaneously moving the locking slide outward to show an unlocked condition, whereby the mortise lock can be unlocked by operating the outside lever.

    Abstract: A lock, particularly a mortise lock, with bolt (9) and preferably catch (43) and a step-up lever (27) which acts on the bolt (9) and is equipped with a closure engagement opening (30) and is pivoted below the axis of rotation of the closure bit, for the closing of the bolt (9) in forward and backward direction while obtaining a lengthening of the closing stroke; in order to optimize the design, it is proposed that the path of movement of the closing engagement opening (30) extend approximately over a quarter-circle (V) of the cylindrical head (7) of a profiled-cylinder insertion opening (4).

    Abstract: In the case of a drive rod lock, the drive is guided in the region of the faceplate and in that a housing is mounted on the faceplate. Rotatably mounted in the housing is a handle bush and follower for moving the drive rod. This handle bush and follower assembly is pretensioned into a mid-way position and can be pivoted out of this mid-way position in opposite directions of rotation. The handle bush and follower assembly acts on a control element which is guided parallel with the drive rod and in the vicinity of a narrow side of the housing remote from the drive rod. A handle bush and follower restoring spring engages this control element. A two-armed transmission lever extends from the control element to the drive rod and is mounted in the housing between the control element and the drive rod. A clearance exists between the transmission lever and the control element.

A lever system 39, 40, 41 connects the locking slide 35 with the safety bolt 4 and has a dogging portion which embraces the locking slide 35. The dogging portion is actuated into a dogging position solely by pushing in and moving out of the catch 5, without operating the lock cylinder or a pusher spindle.

    Abstract: A door latch and lock mechanism especially for storm doors and screen doors, having a latch and a lock bolt. The latch can be retracted from the outside by a button which pushes a plunger in a lengthwise direction. When the plunger is rotated in one direction it will lock the latch in the latched position and also extend the locking bolt to its locked position. When the plunger is rotated in the opposite direction, the latch is released and the bolt is retracted.     Abstract: Extending a dead bolt into a locked position turns a crank that releases a lock release plate from an unlocked position which in turn releases a slide. Upon its release, the slide responds to springs and forces a tooth into a notch of an actuator to lock a latch bolt. To unlock the latch bolt and the dead bolt, the dead bolt can be directly retracted, whereupon the crank engages the lock release plate to move it back to its unlocked position. The lock release plate during this travel picks up the slide and withdraws the tooth from the actuator, freeing the latch bolt assembly. When locked, the latch bolt and the dead bolt can be simultaneously unlocked by rotation of an inside operator which produces rotation of a double-lobed cam. One lobe of the cam moves the slide against the force of the springs sufficiently to clear the tooth from the actuator.

    Abstract: A two-bolt lockset simultaneously locks and unlocks in response to a single action by an operator, such as a key and cylinder. A deadbolt couples to such an operator to project and lock or retract and unlock. A crank also responds to the locking of the deadbolt to move a slide that engages and locks an actuator of the second bolt, a latch bolt, to lock the latch bolt. The slide is biased away from the latch bolt so that upon retraction of the deadbolt and corresponding motion of the crank, the slide is freed of the crank and moves out of engagement with the actuator. Preferably, the slide is carried by a retractor so that both locks clear by the single turn of a single inside operator. The retractor responds to a retractor cam attached to the inside operator to translate. The slide moves out of engagement with the actuator upon such movement and forces the crank to withdraw the deadbolt.
