  • Publication number: 20120324963
Abstract: A lock module housing containing the components of a preferred embodiment is physically mounted to the rear of a gate drive motor of an automatic gate system. A solenoid front shaft, when the solenoid is de-energized, is pushed into a sprocket attached to the drive motor, thus preventing the motor shaft from turning. To release the drive motor, the solenoid is energized. The solenoid rear shaft contacts a limit switch to indicate to the controller that the drive motor is indeed unlocked. When the controller is about to move the gate, energizing the solenoid retracts the shaft and allows normal operation of the gate control system. At the end of the gate cycle, the solenoid is de-energized and the drive motor is once again locked. In the case of a manual release, a key lock is turned from a first position to a second position to unlock the motor shaft. A mechanical linkage arm attached to the key lock pulls the solenoid shaft to its energized position, which in turn contacts the limit switch.

  • Patent number: 7600648
Abstract: A locking cap for a container has a combination lock built into the top. Two or more thumbwheels with numbers or letters are mounted beneath the top surface of the cap or gung plugs. The thumb wheels have through holes corresponding to the numbers or letters. One or more pins are slidably mounted in the cap. The pins are locked by the thumb wheels unless the through holes are in alignment. The pins either project through holes in the container or abut inwardly, projecting portions with the top of the container to prevent turning of the cap unless the pins are retracted. Combinations of numbers or letters can be preset at manufacture, or selected at or after sale, using plugs to fill selected through holes.

Abstract: There is provided a door lock control device in a heating cooker that prevents a door from being accidentally unlocked when the door is locked and a temperature inside the heating cooker is a predetermined temperature or more such as during self-cleaning, and provides safe handling of the heating cooker. Even in general door lock and unlock states, when the temperature inside the cooker is low and a thermal switch 8 of a lock detection and thermal switch portion 6 is closed, the lock detection and thermal switch portion 6 can be energized, and a power supply line 2 can supply power to a drive motor 5 to lock and unlock the door. In the case of self-cleaning or the like, the door is locked and a detection switch 7 is on a door lock side 7a, but the temperature inside the cooker is high and thus the thermal switch 8 is opened, and the power supply line 2 is interrupted. Even if a failure in a driving component occurs, the drive motor 5 is not energized, thereby preventing the door from being unlocked.
