Dog And Dog Actuator Always Interconnected Patents (Class 70/471)
  • Patent number: 11868031
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electrically controlled sliding apparatus for photographic equipment and a locking assembly thereof. The locking assembly for the electrically controlled sliding apparatus includes a fixed base mounted on the electrically controlled sliding apparatus and a locking fitting mounted on the fixed base. A driven member of the electrically controlled sliding apparatus is mounted within the fixed base. The locking fitting is capable of rotating relative to the fixed base after being pressed against the fixed base, so as to lock or unlock the driven member. The locking assembly for the electrically controlled sliding apparatus provided by the present disclosure is convenient to operate and simple in structure, and is capable of achieving that the sliding block is rapidly locked or unlocked on the guiding rail.

  • Patent number: 7530245
Abstract: A door lock includes outer assemblies, latch assemblies and inner assemblies. The inner assemblies has a turning switch, fixing bolts, an interior rose and a detent device that includes an inner plate, a stop plate, a stop seat, a rotating spring, a retaining spring and a sprag. By pressing down the stop plate as the latch bolt is in a casing, a protruding block of the stop seat is engaged with a protruding member of the stop plate. The spindle can not rotate backward and maintains in an unlocked state. After the stop plate is pressed upward, the turning switch returns to a locked state and the latch bolt extends out of the casing. Therefore, the detent device can keep the latch bolt in the casing and keep the lock in the unlocked state.

  • Patent number: 7287787
Abstract: This invention provides a thumb-piece door latch mechanism which has ergonomic features, is modular and can be used with any escutcheon, can be used with all type locks, and which in the locked door mode provides greater resistance to abusive attack of the door latch mechanism and makes the thumb-piece and latch mechanism more durable and less susceptible to vandalism. The thumb-piece moves linearly up and down and is connected to a thumb-piece guide plate which likewise moves up and down when the thumb-piece is moved. A permissive spring having one end connected to a spindle turn plate and the other end connected to the guide plate moves a rotatably mounted spindle, which in turn rotates a spindle tail and a latch connected to the spindle tail. The permissive spring provides greater resistance to abusive attacks of the door lock and mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6793254
Abstract: An automatic door latch is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the latch includes a dead bolt which is automatically moved from a partially retracted or trigger position to a fully extended locking position when a door in which the lock is mounted is closed. When a key is used to unlock the dead bolt from outside of the door, or a finger turn or key is used to unlock the dead bolt from inside of the door, the dead bolt is automatically reset to the trigger position. In a preferred embodiment, the dead bolt lock includes a multi-position switch mounted in the lock housing which engages a contact member mounted on the dead bolt. Retraction of the dead bolt into the housing causes the multi-position switch to engage the contact member and to secure the dead bolt in the trigger position. Subsequent retraction of the dead bolt into the housing causes the multi-position switch to disengage from the contact member, thereby allowing the dead bolt to extend from the housing to the locked position.

  • Patent number: 6536248
Abstract: A door lock-and-handle assembly includes a housing receiving a latch bolt therein, a spindle for driving the latch bolt between extended and retracted positions, a handle coupled to the spindle, a sliding member connected to the latch bolt, a driving member coaxially coupled to the spindle and engageable with the sliding member, a locking member movable between locked and unlocked positions to engage and disengage the driving member, and a lock releasing member including a cam mechanism that has a cam member and a cam follower formed on the sliding member and the locking member, respectively, for moving the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position when the latch bolt is pushed toward the retracted position by an external force.

  • Patent number: 5947535
Abstract: A latch mechanism which includes exterior and interior handle assemblies connected by a bar with a cammed surface such that the latch mechanism can be actuated by pushing, pulling, or turning a handle. Pushing or turning the exterior handle causes the bar to contact a cam follower on a receiver whose edge will rotate a lever to retract a bolt. Also, pulling or turning the interior handle produces the same result. Once the bolt is retracted, and the handle is released, a spring biases the bolt back to the extended position.

  • Patent number: 5865050
Abstract: A locking cover for a dead bolt lock assembly that permits a user to put it in one of three positions: neutral, locked and unlocked. The cover in the neutral position permits the operation of the bolt lock assembly normally. The other positions limit the rotational travel of the actuating shaft to one quarter of a turn. The actuating shaft is rotated by turning the locking cover that includes a central tubular cylinder for selective engagement with the actuating shaft. A pin mounted on the interior of the cover is receivable within one of three holes on an annular base plate that limits the rotation of the actuating shaft.
