Manual Bolt-manipulator Is Slidable Only Patents (Class 70/488)
  • Patent number: 7334439
Abstract: An accessory lock assembly includes a latch assembly, an outer knob assembly mounted on one side of a door panel to connect with the latch assembly, an inner knob assembly mounted on another side of the door panel to connect with the latch assembly, and a lock reinforcing arrangement engaged between the outer and inner knob assemblies to block rotational movements of the outer and inner knob assemblies with the door panel. The inner knob assembly includes an inner actuation unit connecting with the latch assembly and at least a security binding element having a securing end connected to the outer knob assembly and an opposed operating end securely connected to the inner actuation unit within a receiving cavity of a protection shelter in such a manner that the operating end of the connecting element is isolated from outside of the accessory lock assembly by the protection shelter.

  • Patent number: 5974842
Abstract: A locking slide latch comprises components that are easily assembled without the need for separate fasteners or adhesives. A presently preferred latch comprises a housing, a pawl received within the housing and an actuating member associated with and slidable relative to the housing for displacing the pawl from an extended position to a retracted position. These components are assembled together without the use of separate fasteners or adhesives, thereby simplifying assembly and allowing for interchangeability of parts to meet varying latch requirements. The latches are preferably manufactured from corrosion resistant materials such as plastics, composites and corrosion resistant metals, and are highly suitable for use in automotive, recreational vehicle and marine applications.

Abstract: A locking slide latch comprises components that are easily assembled without the need for separate fasteners or adhesives. A preferred latch comprises a gripable base member having a spring member mounted thereon, a locking member rotatably mounted on the spring member and a rotatable lock plug mounted in the spring member and contacting the locking member.

  • Patent number: 4590777
Abstract: A key operated doorlock, which may incorporate a deadbolt, has a bolt housing that is mounted on the exterior of the door and is held there by being fastened to a spacer disposed within the door and a mounting plate at the interior side of the door. The main bolt is locked in place with a secondary locking apparatus which may include a barrel lock which operates a bolt which cooperates with a keeper opening in still another bolt. The latter engages a keeper opening that forms part of the housing. A lever system is provided which permits operation of the third bolt when permitted by the state of the second mentioned bolt.

  • Patent number: 4312203
Abstract: A door lock has a flush-mountable body. A forwardly facing recess is defined by the body. A push-button actuator for operating the lock is carried by the body and is movable between normal and operating positions. A bolt is carried on the back of the body and is movable between latching and unlatching positions. A key-controlled disconnect linkage is provided for selectively drivingly connecting and disconnecting the actuator and the bolt. The disconnect linkage includes a disconnect member which is moved by a key-operated locking member between connecting and disconnecting positions located, respectively, in and out of the path of travel of a latch bolt operating arm. When the disconnect linkage drivingly connects the actuator and the bolt, movement of the actuator from its normal position to an operating position will cause corresponding unlatching movement of the bolt.
