Abstract: A system for securely storing a weapon. The system includes a tray for containing a weapon. The tray has an opening for accessing a weapon. The system also includes a portable safe having an interior space sized and shaped for retaining the tray and the contained weapon. In addition, the system includes a mounting module attachable to a fixed surface. The mounting module includes an interior space for holding the portable safe and an access control system for locking the portable safe within the interior space of the mounting module. The access control system allows access by an authorized user and denies access of the weapon within the portable safe to an unauthorized user. The weapon is contained in the tray, the tray is retained in the portable safe and the portable safe is held in the interior space of the mounting module.
Abstract: A cash register tray for currency and coins having its own pivotal cover and lock whereby the tray can also be used as a portable cash box. A spring and electromagnet within the tray itself control opening and closing functions.
Abstract: A cash box provided with a till comprises a cash box, a till which can be slidably taken in and out of said cash box and is provided with an engage body on its rear end portion, a base plate fitted within said cash box, an electromagnetic means provided on said base plate, a frame plate on which, one end portion is provided with a projection and on which another end portion is connected with a movable rod of said electromagnetic means and rotatably supported by a shaft on said base plate, and a plate cam on which peripheral portion is provided with an engage groove and an engage projection and which is rotatably supported by a shaft on said base plate so that said engage body is engaged with and disengaged from said engage groove and said engage projection is engaged with and disengaged from said projection.
Abstract: A cash register security system has a first latch normally adapted to engage and securely hold within a cash register a false drawer, a release device connected to the first latch for releasing the first latch from engaging and holding the false drawer within the cash register, a second latch adapted to engage and hold within the cash register a cash drawer, the second latch normally being in disengagement with the cash drawer, a locking device connected to the second latch for locking the second latch in engagement with the cash drawer and holding the cash drawer within the cash register, an alarm circuit connected to the release device and the locking device and an alarm switch connected to the alarm circuit for operating the alarm circuit and activating the release device and the locking device whereby the cash drawer is locked within the cash register and only the false drawer may be ejected from the cash register after the alarm switch is operated.
