  • Patent number: 11366865
Abstract: A technology is described for distributed querying of computing hubs for device-generated data. In one example, computing hubs may provide a storage service to devices included in a local device network, and the devices may send device-generated data to the computing hubs to be stored by the storage service. A distributed query may be initiated by identifying the computing hubs that have the device-generated data stored on the computing hubs and sending a message containing query instructions to the computing hubs. The query instructions, when executed on the computing hubs, retrieve the device-generated data from the storage service included on the computing hubs, and the computing hubs may send the device-generated data to a service provider environment.

  • Patent number: 11164095
Abstract: The invention provides a fuzzy curve analysis based soft sensor modeling method using time difference Gaussian process regression, it is suitable for application in chemical process with time delay characteristics. This method can extract stable delay information from the historical database of process and introduce more relevant modeling data sequence to the dominant variable sequence. First of all, the method of fuzzy curve analysis (FCA) can intuitively judge the importance of the input sequence to the output sequence, estimate the time-delay parameters of process, and such offline time-delay parameter set can be utilized to restructure the modeling data. For the new input data, based on the historical variable value before a certain time, the current dominant value can be predicted by time difference Gaussian Process Regression (TDGPR) model. This method does not encounter the problem of model updating and can effectively track the drift between input and output data.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a stochastic look-ahead dispatch method for power system based on Newton method, belonging to power system dispatch technologies. The disclosure analyzes historical data of wind power output, and uses statistical or fitting software to perform Gaussian mixture model fitting. A dispatch model with chance constraints is established for system parameters. Newton method is to solve quantiles of random variables obeying Gaussian mixture model, so that chance constraints are transformed into deterministic linear constraints, thus transforming original problem to convex optimization problem with linear constraints. Finally, the model is solved to obtain look-ahead dispatch. The disclosure employs Newton method to transform chance constraints containing risk level and random variables into deterministic linear constraints, which effectively improves model solution efficiency, and provides reasonable dispatch for decision makers.

Abstract: A method of detecting abnormal test signal channel of automatic test equipment firstly obtains a raw test data and then divides into the data groups according to a mapping data. The test data of DUTs in one data group are generated by the same group of probes. A yield of each data group is further estimated. A yield of a wafer is further estimated when the yield of the data group matches a first failure threshold. An abnormal test signal channel is determined when the yield of the wafer does not match a second failure threshold or the yield of the wafer matches the normal threshold. Therefore, to add the detecting method in an original test procedure of the ATE, the operator easily identifies which blocks in the failure color on the test data map are caused by the abnormal test signal channel.

Abstract: A method for evaluating system performance can include comparing a test average of instances of variables of test system variables to a baseline average of a baseline variables. Each of the instances of the variable of the test system variables may be shifted by a shift amount for a subset of the variables. A modified test data set may be generated from the shifted test data set. The modified test data set may be transformed with a sparse principal component analysis into test components. The test components may be compared to baseline components using a Hotelling T2 as a test statistic. Performance of the system may be quantified based upon the test statistic.

  • Patent number: 10649449
Abstract: A technique is provided for providing early fault detection using process control data generated by control devices in a process plant. The technique determines a leading indicator of a condition within the process plant, such as a fault, abnormality, or decrease in performance. The leading indicator may be determined using principal component analysis. A process signal indicating a process variable corresponding to the leading indicator is then obtained and analyzed. A rolling fast Fourier transform (FFT) may be performed on the process signal to generate time-series data with which to monitor the process plant. When the presence of the leading indicator is detected in the time-series data, an alert or other prediction of the condition may be generated. Thus, process faults may be identified using fluctuations and abnormalities as leading predictors.

  • Patent number: 10644982
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a plurality of values of a data stream, where the plurality of values are generated by a monitored device and received in real time. One or more statistical moments of the data stream are updated, by a computer processing device, based on each value of the plurality of values. Each value of the plurality of values is discarded, after updating the one or more statistical moments of the data stream based on that value. A threshold is set for the data stream based on the one or more statistical moments. It is detected that the threshold has been passed by the data stream. A remedial action is performed on the monitored device, responsive to the threshold being passed, where the remedial action is associated with the threshold.

  • Patent number: 10630090
Abstract: The present disclosure describes aspects of ripple current reduction for wireless electric vehicle charging. In some aspects, an apparatus for wireless power transmission includes an inverter circuit to provide alternating current and a resonant circuit having a tuning portion and a coil portion to transmit power based on the alternating current. The apparatus also includes a current sensor to provide an indication of peak-to-peak amplitude (e.g., ripple current) of the alternating current that flows to the coil portion of the resonant circuit. Based on this indication, a control signal of the inverter is altered to adjust the peak-to-peak amplitude of the alternating current, such as to reduce ripple current in the coil portion. By so doing, ripple current can be reduced in power-transmitting or power-receiving devices, which may improve power transmission efficiency, enable use of smaller decoupling capacitors, or reduce stress on elements of respective resonant circuits.
