Abstract: In accordance with various embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device including a display device and one or more input devices. The method includes displaying, on the display device, a first graphing area presenting a plot of a first set of data points for a first variable versus a first set of data points for a second variable. The method includes displaying, on the display device, an indication of a relationship between the first variable and the second variable. The method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input indicative of change to the relationship between the first variable and the second variable. The method includes determining, based on the changed relationship between the first variable and the second variable, a second set of data points. The method includes displaying, on the display device, a second graphing area presenting a plot of the second set of data points.

  • Patent number: 10911465
Abstract: Alarms, including features such as source IP address, destination IP address, and timestamp, generated by an intrusion detection system are grouped into clusters. A rank value for each alarm within each cluster is determined by summing a weighted value for each feature within the respective alarm. A cluster rank is determined by summing each of the rank values within each cluster and dividing by the number of alarms in the respective cluster. The source IP address is used to determine a network IP address and subnet of a network architecture associated with the source IP address. The cluster ranks are displayed graphically to a user using a graphical database within a graphical user interface. Each of the clusters are mapped to a node link pair in the graphical database using an a priori logical network topology based upon the network IP address and the subnet of the network architecture.

Abstract: A method of sensor node position determination for a sensor network is provided. A coverage distribution is defined based on a number of sensor nodes and sensor footprints of the sensor nodes. A desired position for each of the sensor nodes is determined based on the coverage distribution and a prior probability distribution defined on a bounded domain for the number of sensor nodes as a minimization of a distance between the coverage distribution and the prior probability distribution. The desired position to configure the sensor nodes is output.

Abstract: A supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) unit and technique for managing communications over a network of defined capacity. The unit and techniques include safeguarding the network while allowing for operations to proceed at an oilfield. The safeguards allow for multiple additional and different types of equipment to be added to or removed from the network while being managed by a single SCADA unit. This may be achieved through unique filtering protocols which prevent unidentified and/or unconfirmed equipment and devices from being added to the network merely due to be detected at the oilfield.

  • Patent number: 10827941
Abstract: A method of obtaining and analyzing ECG data from a patient or group of patients is disclosed. The ECG data is obtained from the patient at an acquisition device. Once the ECG data is obtained, the ECG data is transmitted to an analysis server that is operated by an analysis provider and is located remote from the location of the acquisition device. Along with the ECG data, acquisition parameters are transmitted to the analysis server. At the analysis server, one of a plurality of algorithms is selected to analyze the ECG data. If an abnormality is detected, the patient information is directed to a healthcare provider who can then contact the patient to schedule an appointment. Based upon the referral, a referral fee can be transferred from the healthcare provider to the analysis provider. The patient can be prompted to provide additional information and selections that dictate the level of analysis generated.
