Abstract: A system for identifying a consumer at a retailer point of sale (POS) incorporates a virtual wallet database that contains consumer records. A consortium processor utilizes a database or databases with information known to the electronic tender provider but not available to the virtual wallet database. If the identifying data from the retailer POS hardware does not match any data from the virtual wallet database, an enhanced trade area append processor is employed to find a matching consumer within the retailer POS trade area. If a match is found, the applicable address is attached to the consumer data captured at the POS. A record is then sent to the consortium processor, which compares this data to its own records and returns a match or no-match result. The virtual wallet database is updated based on the match results.

Abstract: Transaction items for a transaction are received during a transaction. Any non-barcoded items are identified and processed within a retailer-specific vector space to identify a most-similar barcoded item offered by a corresponding retailer to the non-barcoded item. The transaction items are revised to include the most-similar barcoded item as a replacement for the non-barcoded item. The revised transaction item list is used to identify a recommended item based on a segment-specific vector space associated with a segment assigned to the transaction. The recommended item is provided in real time to a transaction service that processes the transaction for delivery to a customer associated with the transaction.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for providing promotion sharing between consumers are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a system including circuitry configured to generate an incentive token for a promotion of a merchant. The incentive token may be associated with a first consumer account and provided to a first consumer device associated with the first consumer account for sharing with other consumers. Upon receiving the incentive token form a second consumer device associated with a second consumer account, the circuitry may be configured to enable the second consumer account to receive an incentive value of the incentive token if various conditions are satisfied. For example, the second consumer may be asked to purchase the promotion, create a new consumer account, or the like.

Abstract: A system for and a method of using user-entered information to return more meaningful information in response to Internet search queries are disclosed. A method in accordance with the disclosed subject matter comprises managing a database in response to multiple user inputs and displaying search results from the database in response to a search query. The search results include a results list and supplemental data related to the search query. Managing the database includes, among other things, re-ranking elements in the results list, storing information related to relevancies of elements in the results list, blocking a link in the results list, storing links to documents related to the search query, or any combination of these. The supplemental data include descriptions of or indices to one or more concepts related to the search query.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive, from one or more data sources, information indicating a plurality of data sets, where the plurality of data sets indicate information associated with respective physical locations or online locations. The device may identify a data set, from the plurality of data sets, that indicates information associated with an online location, where the information includes at least one of an entity name, an address, a phone number, a uniform resource locator, an entity identifier, or metadata. The device may parse the data set to identify information for a set of features. The device may analyze the information for the set of features to determine a brand associated with the online location. The device may pair the online location with the brand in the database such that the online location is linked with a first physical location of the brand in the database.

Abstract: Merchants provide incentives for customer transactions on accounts issued to them by issuers. Incentives include a merchant making a donation to entities with whom the merchants and/or the consumers have an affinity such as residence in the community. Each merchant can define the donation to be percentage of the transaction amount. Cryptographically secure chains are provided for uniquely labeling each such transaction and each such donation by way of incorporating role-based digital wallets and multiple synchronized transactional blockchains. Where the donations are used to purchase an Internet-of-Things (IOT) enabled system, real and/or near-real time usage information can be received and transmitted to the logical addresses of the customers and or the merchants so as to confirm efficacy of the donations.

Abstract: A method for dynamic and extensible creation of an extensible wireless network, using a set of drones that individually support server processes. The drones interact with one another, exchanging information, type of coverage, type and amount of throughput, location, etc. A control node connects to a wired network. The node operates a leader election protocol, captures state information from the drones, and positions/re-positions the drones as necessary. Drones are flown in to position and then engaged as necessary to stretch/adapt the coverage as necessary. The drone's power utilization is monitored and its coverage area modified as necessary to optimize power utilization. The control node performs drone-based coverage/power utilization computations, and attempts to apply the appropriate location assignments to provide maximum network coverage (extensibility) while also preserving drone-specific power (battery) utilization.

Abstract: A virtual punch card rewards system is described. The system includes a user database that stores user information concerning a plurality of users, a network interface configured to communicate data over a network, and a processing circuit comprising a processor and memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive transaction information concerning a payment account belonging to a user, determine a reward category for the user based on the retrieved transaction information, generate virtual punch card parameters for the user based on the determined reward category, and transmit, by the network interface over the network, virtual punch card content to a computing device associated with the user, the virtual punch card content including a first graphical interface configured to present the user with at least one of the generated virtual punch card parameters.

Abstract: Methods and devices for subscription offerings are disclosed. The device determines a set of subscription-based applications stored on the device and for each of the subscription-based applications, determines a service type. The device then determines a first subscription service to offer the user of the device via a graphical user interface of the device. After receiving acceptance of the offer for the first subscription service from the user, the device automatically establishes a customer account for the first subscription service. Then, the device downloads a first subscription service application, generates login information for the customer account, and performs a login to the customer account with the login information.

Abstract: A system and method for performing a transaction and managing transaction data. The system and method operate by scanning an item for purchase with a point of sale system and obtaining image data of the item with an image capture device of the point of sale system during the scanning. The system and method operate by proceeding to store the image data in a memory of the point of sale system and generating, with a processor of the point of sale system, an association of the image data with purchase data acquired at the point of sale during the purchase. Further, the system and method operate by providing the association, the image data, and the purchase data to a graphical user interface, which displays the image data and the purchase data such that the image data is visually linked with the purchase data based on the association.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a communication device interface for merchant check-in and shopping notifications. A user may enter shopping preferences to a module of a communication device in order to receive notifications and alerts when items matching the shopping preferences are available with one or more merchants. A service provider may receive the shopping preferences with user attributes, such as a user location and/or account balance. The attributes may be determined using applications and/or modules of the communication device or through a check-in by the user at a location. The service provider may determine shopping notifications having purchase offers for the items from available merchants. The purchase offers may include offers to sell the items and discounts for the items. The shopping notifications may be displayed to the user using a user device interface, such as cells within an application or mobile device home screen.

Abstract: A method for utilizing smartglasses-enabled, autonomous, transfer technology, to execute a transferor to recipient transfer is provided. The method may include receiving, via hand gestures at the smartglasses, a mobile phone number of a target recipient. The method may also include transmitting the mobile phone number from the smartglasses to an entity associated with the transferor. The method may then determine a recipient identification number associated with the mobile phone number at the entity associated with the transferor, and, preferably then, communicating with a transfer gateway to initiate a payment between a transferor account number associated and the recipient identification number. The method may also include processing the transfer via the transfer gateway and transmitting a completion notification to a mobile device associated with the mobile number and to the smartglasses.

Abstract: Techniques for expense report submission are disclosed. An expense report submission system receives, via a graphical user interface, a user query that corresponds to requesting whether a particular expense is allowed. The expense report submission system applies the user query to a machine learning model configured to evaluate data associated with expenses against one or more expense policy rules. The expense report submission system generates a response to the user query based at least on a result of applying the user query to the machine learning model. The response to the user query indicates whether the expense is allowed based at least on the expense reporting rule(s). The expense report submission system presents, in the graphical user interface, the response to the user query.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing multiple versions of an application in a social network are described. In some aspects, a first version of the application provides a first set of features while a second version of the application provides the first set of features and also a second set of features. Both the first version of the application and the second version of the application access the same application state data, which may be maintained by a back-end system, such as a social network. When the state data is updated by one or the other versions of the application, a notification may be provided to the other version of the application informing it of the update. The application state data may represent, for example, a shared gaming environment accessed by both the first and second versions of the application.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for segmenting and grouping a plurality of network nodes into one or more clusters. Content may be delivered from a transmitting user node to a receiving user node based on which cluster the receiving user node resides. The grouping of the clusters may be dynamically updated in real-time based on user activity data. Such user activity data may be collected from both a transmitting user node (e.g., server) and a receiving user node (e.g., user device) to map the delivery of a relevant communication. Advantageously, a transmitting user may deliver content to other relevant users and a receiving user may receive content from other relevant users.
