  • Patent number: 11966440
Abstract: A method for automatic metadata tag identification for videos is described. Content features are extracted from a video into respective data structures. The extracted content features are from at least two different feature modalities. The respective data structures are encoded into a common data structure using an encoder of a recurrent neural network (RNN) model. The common data structure is decoded using a decoder of the RNN model to identify content platform metadata tags to be associated with the video on a social content platform. Decoding is based on group tag data for users of the social content platform that identifies groups of the users and corresponding group metadata tags of interest for the groups of users.

  • Patent number: 11816705
Abstract: A script creation system obtains both current user-specified attributes to be used in generating a new media creative, and historical data including historical user-specified attributes associated with previously generated media creatives. The script creation system generates a set of creative parameters specifying content characteristics of the new media creative based on the user-specified attributes and the historical data. The set of creative parameters are transmitted from the script creation system to a media creative generation system. The script creation system receives the new media creative generated by the media creative generation system, and provides the new media creative to an end user system associated with an end user. The script creation system receives feedback associated with the new media creative, and stores the feedback, the set of creative parameters, and the current user-specified attributes as historical data.

Abstract: The subject matter of this specification generally relates to detecting events that occur within mobile applications without modifying code of the mobile application. In some implementations, a front-end server receives, from a mobile application management application installed on a client device, interaction data specifying (i) a user interaction identifier for a user interaction with an interactive item that presents, at a first mobile application, content for a second mobile application and (ii) an interactive item identifier. The front-end server receives event data specifying an occurrence of a specified user action within the second mobile application and the interactive identifier for the interactive item. A back-end server determines that the specified user action resulted from the user interaction based on a match between the interactive item identifier specified by the event data and the interactive item identifier that links to the user interaction identifier for the user interaction.

Asset delivery event data regarding the delivery of marketing assets is initially collected to identify asset features of delivered marketing assets and user attributes of users receiving the marketing assets. The asset delivery event data is processed using machine-learning techniques to generate a model capable of selecting asset features given a set of user attributes. When a request for a new marketing asset is received for a particular user, user attributes of that user are identified and provided to the model to select a set of asset features. The asset features are used to select asset components, which are combined to form the new marketing asset.

Abstract: Technologies described herein facilitate generating and deploying dynamic false user accounts. Embodiments disclosed herein obtain a false tenant model that is usable to dynamically populate a false user account with messages and/or data files. Rather than containing only a static set of documents, a “dynamic” false user account is continually populated with fresh documents. This results in dynamic false user accounts appearing practically indistinguishable from real user accounts that are continually populated with new real email messages and/or new real hosted files as they are used by account owners to perform legitimate business activities. The realistic nature of the dynamic false user accounts described herein significantly reduces the ability of malicious entities to identify a user account as being false in nature.

Abstract: The embodiments implement server-side third party content insertion with client-side tracking beacon. The solution embeds third party content within designated breaks of primary content to form a single unified stream that is streamed to a client requesting the primary content. The unified stream allows the client to receive all content without switching between different streams and prevents advertisement blockers running on the client from differentiating the third party content from the primary content and from blocking the third party content. The solution also generates and sends to the client, a configuration containing events and destinations the different content providers define for their respective content. The client monitors for the events specified in the configuration during playback of the unified stream. An event that is triggered causes the client to send a tracking beacon to a content provider specified destination associated with the event.

  • Patent number: 10142278
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for automatically detecting anomalies in the content of a scheduled social media post, alerting a user to the presence of such anomalies before the content is posted and recommending a course of action when an anomaly is detected. A set of keywords is extracted from a scheduled post using an ontological classification technique. At predetermined time intervals, the keywords are compared with information obtained from one or more data sources to determine if an anomaly is present. If an anomaly is detected, the scheduled post is classified into one of at least three categories: supporting the post, neutral, or opposing the post. Once the anomaly is detected and the scheduled post is classified, the author of the post is alerted to the anomaly along with the categorization. Subsequently, the author may reschedule the post to an earlier or later time, delete the post, or change the post.

  • Patent number: 10001828
Abstract: A signal adapter device for a display system which enables turning on and off the display device for energy conservation. The signal adapter has a signal input port coupled to a signal source, a signal output port coupled to a display, and an adapter port coupled to a sensor. Corresponding pins of the input and output ports are electrically connected to each other, except that the hot plug detect pin of the input port is electrically disconnected from that of the output port but is electrically connected to a hot plug detect pin of the adapter port. The sensor senses environmental conditions such as the presence of viewers within a certain distance, and generates a voltage signal for the hot plug detect pin. Based on this signal on its hot plug detect pin, the signal source determines whether to transmit multimedia data to the display device.

  • Patent number: 9430451
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method and corresponding system for parsing author name text strings in documents. The method and system may electronically scan a document that contains an author name text string comprising a set of initials, one or more author surnames, and punctuation. The author name text string may be in non-standardized format. The method and system may identify a character sequence in the document as potentially being the author name test string based on (i) a sequence of title-case words, capital letter, and punctuation, and (ii) the character sequence ending with a recognized indicator. The method and system may parse the identified character sequence by converting any punctuation and whitespace between terms in the character sequence to a single space character, identifying a pattern of surname and set of initials comprising each author name contained in the character sequence, and marking up the components of surname and set of initials comprising each author name.
