Abstract: There is provided a computer-implemented method of providing price recommendations for beverage dispensing facilities, the method comprising: receiving signals indicative of beverage dispensing at least at one beverage dispensing facility from at least one beverage dispensing sensor which monitors the at least one beverage dispensing facility and generates the signals; automatically analyzing the signals for calculating a statistical pattern of beverage consumption at the at least one beverage dispensing facility; automatically generating a price recommendation profile for the at least one beverage dispensing facility according to the statistical pattern; and selecting for presentation the price recommendation profile.

Abstract: A method may comprise: receiving, by a front-end transaction central server, a browse request for browsing detailed information of a combined merchandise object, and acquiring stock information of each sub-merchandise object, respectively; if a target physical warehouse has a physical stock of at least one first sub-merchandise object and no physical stock of at least one second sub-merchandise object, and if a target virtual negative sale warehouse corresponding to the target physical warehouse has a virtual negative sale stock of the at least one second sub-merchandise object, providing salable information of the combined merchandise object; and when a request for buying the merchandise object is received, generating a transaction order, and determining the target physical warehouse as a prerouting warehouse of the first sub-merchandise object, and determining the target virtual negative sale warehouse as a prerouting warehouse of the second sub-merchandise object.

Abstract: An input corresponding to a time window is received in an integrated container management system. For containers of a specific container type, a network flow solver implementing a multi-commodity network flow problem is executed based on the input. A graph is generated with nodes representing depot locations, mode of transport locations and customer locations. Arcs connecting nodes, and representing operations and costs associated with the nodes are generated. Pick-up arcs are generated between the depot locations and customer locations. Return arcs are generated between the customer locations and the depot locations. Street turn arcs are generated among customer locations. Unload load arcs are generated between the mode of transport locations and the depot locations. Output tables are generated with values representing functionalities associated with container repositioning, container pick-up and return, and container street turn.

Abstract: A system and method for locating nearby attended delivery/pickup locations with a particular item in stock is described. The system receives a request from an individual to purchase a particular item from an on-line retailer. The system receives information associated with attended delivery/pickup locations, including location and inventory information. The system then determines which (if any) attended delivery/pickup locations (e.g., the attended delivery/pickup locations are not the on-line retailer) are near the individual and have the particular item in stock and notifies the individual. In various embodiments, the system enables the user to purchase or reserve the particular item at the particular attended delivery/pickup location.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for large product pre-sourcing search engine are described herein. A location may be determined for a user of an application. A search query may be received via the application. Search results may be returned based on the search query which may include a product with special handling constraints. A local availability may be determined for the product with special handling constraints using the location of the user. A delivery availability may be determined for the product with special handling constraints using the location of the user. The search results may be output to a user interface of the application including the local availability and the delivery availability.

Abstract: An inventory control system is configured to perform operations including generating an initial demand matrix and generating a plurality of synthetic demand matrices. The operations also include identifying sparse demand vectors in the synthetic demand matrices, where each sparse demand vector represents synthetic demand that satisfies a sparse demand criteria. The operations also include modifying synthetic demand values based on the sparse demand vectors to generate filtered synthetic demand matrices. The operations include generating estimated demand for a target period for each inventory item based on the filtered synthetic demand matrices and the initial demand matrix and comparing the estimated demand to inventory data to determine whether one or more inventory items should be acquired. The operations include generating and sending a demand signal to cause the one or more inventory items to be acquired.

As part of the phone call, a credentials service customer identifier assigned to the customer is received from the customer. The method further includes transmitting a message to a credentials service that issued the customer identifier. Payment credentials are received from the credentials service. The payment credentials include a payment token that is associated with a payment account that belongs to the customer. The method further includes generating a payment account system authorization request message. The authorization request message includes the payment token. In addition, the method includes transmitting the authorization request message for routing to an issuer of the payment account.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system and method for receiving itinerary information and user information for a reservation for a user where the user has opted to acquire lost item protection for use with at least part of the reservation; receiving a lost item notification from a computing device associated with a notifior, the lost item notification including at least notifior information and lost item information; retrieving itinerary information from the first database associated with the user when it is determined that the notifior information from the lost item report matches the user information stored in the first database; facilitating presentation of a list of one or more establishments associated with the retrieved itinerary information; and automatically generating and electronically transmitting a lost item report to the selected at least one establishment if it is determined that the establishment information is stored in the second database.

Abstract: Aspects and embodiments are directed to systems for determining counting accuracy of products, including retail products. The system for determining counting accuracy can interface with other inventory systems to access or receive information on inventory of the retail products. The inventory information can include, for example, numbers of units in inventory, shelf space accorded to respective products, package size (i.e., number of units available per package), retail value, margin value, among other options. The system can manage physical counts made on respective products. In some examples, the system can determine a value associated with physically counting inventory of respective product(s), for example, as a function of a number of units on-hand, time since the product has been counted, and a presentation value. Responsive to determining the value associated with physically counting the respective product, the system triggers a physical count or can prohibit a physical count of a product.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a system and method for analyzing an identity hub. Particularly, a user can connect to the identity hub, load an initial set of data records, create and/or edit an identity hub configuration locally, analyze and/or validate the configuration via a set of analysis tools, including an entity analysis tool, a data analysis tool, a bucket analysis tool, and a linkage analysis tool, and remotely deploy the validated configuration to an identity hub instance. In some embodiments, through a graphical user interface, these analysis tools enable the user to analyze and modify the configuration of the identity hub in real time while the identity hub is operating to ensure data quality and enhance system performance.

Abstract: Techniques for determining an editable query which, when executed, identifies and presents a set of member profiles similar to a source member profile are described. In an embodiment, a preliminary set of member profiles similar to a source member profile is identified. A set of profile features is obtained from the preliminary set of similar member profiles, and a set of relevant profile features is extracted from the set of profile features. An editable query including the set of relevant profile features is presented. In an embodiment, the set of member profiles similar to the source member profile and corresponding to the set of relevant profile features is also presented. Upon having been edited, the editable query is executable to identify and present a new set of member profiles corresponding to the edited query.

Abstract: Methods and systems for ordering assays which detect SNPs or gene expression are provided. The methods use PCR and RT-PCR procedures. Collections of stock assays are assembled using pre- and post-manufacturing quality control procedures and made available to consumers via the Internet. In addition, custom assays are prepared upon order from the consumer and these assays are also prepared using pre- and post-manufacturing quality control procedures. The assays are then delivered to the consumer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for optimizing storage and retrieval of a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) present in a warehouse. A pallet identification module identifies one or more pallets capable for storing a plurality of SKUs. A notifying module notifies a first operator for storing the plurality of SKUs in the one or more pallets. A database update module updates an address of each pallet in a WMS database. A pickup list module provides a pickup list comprising one or more SKUs to be retrieve. A determination module determines at least one pallet and a second operator from the one or more pallets and a plurality of second operators respectively. An operator guiding module guides the second operator, via a virtual map displayed on the AR enabled device, to the address of the at least one pallet in order to retrieve the one or more SKUs.

Abstract: A system for use on a vehicle comprising a tractor and a trailer comprises a communications device that effects communications between the system and a remote system. The communications device is configured to receive data from the remote system. An event detector is configured to generate a trigger signal in response to detecting occurrence of predetermined events. An onboard computer is coupled to the communications device, the event detector, a media recorder, and a computer of the vehicle. One or more image capture devices at the vehicle are communicatively coupled to one or both of the onboard computer and the media recorder. The onboard computer is configured to adjust one or more parameters of the image capture devices and/or modify one or more parameters of the event detector based at least in part on the data received from the remote system.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media are disclosed for capturing purchase information regarding purchased items of a consumer. Upon receiving an image of a receipt (a receipt image) regarding a list of purchased items, receipt text is generated. The receipt text is processed to identify the purchased items in the receipt image. Accordingly, an iteration is begun to iterate through the item blocks of the receipt text. An item block corresponds to a discrete item in the receipt text. The processing comprises extracting textual elements from the item block and matching the textual elements to a known product. Upon matching the textual elements to a known product, the consumer inventory associated with the consumer is updated with regard to the purchase of the known product.

Abstract: A research application and service are provided. The research application can be a mobile application, a feature within a word processing software, or an extension of a web-browsing software, through which a user can indicate a subject of research or assignment and receive a list of research topics from which credible research sources can be searched. The application is used to browse research sources and select particular ones to a collection. The application sends the data regarding selected research sources to be stored and accessed later via the research service. When a user is subsequently in a productivity application/authoring canvas, the productivity application can access the data collected by the user. Feedback on what, if any, research sources are included in an authoring canvas is used by the research service to modify the research sources presented by the research application when the topic is next selected by that or other users.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an augmented reality by defining a model representing a real-world system. After defining the model, a plurality of model simulations are performed using the defined model which produce predicted field data that is stored in memory. In turn, data from one or more sensors in the real-world system is received and the defined model is calibrated using the received field data relative to the stored predicted field data. Then, an augmented reality of the real-world system is provided using the calibrated model.

In a user-implemented method, a user inputs a request into an electronic device to reserve one or more parking spaces and pays for the reservation. The reservation may be for a general parking space or for a specific parking space in a parking lot or garage. In another method the user inquiry is received as input and processed on an electronic device networked to a central cloud server comprising a distributed cloud computer system. A status of the parking space is displayed to the user in real time to which the user makes a reply. Also provided is a distributed e-parking space system able to execute instructions to receive input and, via a Distributed Internet Services system, to distribute an application or components to process input, deploy the distributed applications/components and synchronize data related to the reservation process.

Abstract: According to an example of the present disclosure, a system is disclosed. The system comprises at least one sensing unit and a robotics engine in communication with the at least one sensing unit. The at least one sensing unit detects stock information associated with an item. The robotics engine performs a trend analysis based on the stock information collected over a predefined duration of time, and determines a threshold value based on the trend analysis. Furthermore, the robotics engine generates an alert when the stock information is below the threshold value, and selects a vendor based on one or more predefined parameters. The robotics engine also generates an instruction to obtain the replacement item from the selected vendor for replenishing the item in an inventory.

Abstract: Beverage shrinkage monitoring technology is disclosed and is used to reduce beverage shrinkage at bars, clubs, restaurants, and other establishments that dispense beverages. Bottles are topped with wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles that only pour when handled by appropriate staff members who wear RFID wristbands or bracelets. The wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles also report sales to a point of sales (POS) system. Beer taps include proprietary wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled beer tap adapters that are mounted to or embedded in the beer taps.

Abstract: A method receives store inventory batch updates from a plurality of retail stores and divides each batch update into a stream of smaller messages, each smaller message referring only to a single product and including the identifier for the retail store, the identifier for the product, the quantity of the product on the sales floor of the retail store and the quantity of the product in the backroom of the retail store. The stream of smaller messages are applied to parallel processing such that a plurality of smaller messages can be processed at the same time, the parallel processing of each smaller message determining a quantity of the respective product that must be moved to the sales floor to satisfy at least one restocking rule given the quantities of the product on the sales floor in the smaller message and storing the quantity in a database.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for performing dynamic orchestration of rules. The system monitors activities performed by entity in the big data environment to detect events. The events are associated with product/service. Further, the system determines scenario by analyzing data pertaining to the product or the service. The scenario comprises one or more scenario categories. Further, the scenario is correlated with the events based on the one or more scenario categories. The correlation is further validated by the system based on dimensions. Further, the system derives one or more rules for each of the correlation of the scenario and the events upon validation. The system may further apply an operational constraints and migration controls to the one or more rules to perform dynamic orchestration. Thus, the system provides one-stop solution for deriving the rules based on context of the scenarios and migrating them to target systems.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided to automatically identify overstated perpetual inventory (PI) conditions regarding an inventory level of an item in a retail space. For example, in some embodiments, a method performed by a control circuit comprises determining (504) that, a plurality of times, an item for sale at a retail store sells within a defined tolerance of a non-zero inventory quantity value and then stops selling for a period of time; and making (506) a determination that an overstated PI condition exists with respect to an inventory level of the item at the retail store. In some embodiments, the overstated PI condition is automatically quantified and may be automatically corrected.

Abstract: A system for an integrated support interface across multiple different software applications includes an integrated support user interface, an application connector and a first support integration module. The integrated support user interface includes received user input. Abstract: Disclosed is a manufacturing process and feature licensing system for provisioning personalized (device-unique) licenses to devices, with the following characteristics. The system is secure in that it uses a secure key wrapping mechanism to deliver the LSK to LPS. Another feature is that various network communication links are secured using standard security protocol. Further, application messages, license templates, licenses are digitally signed. The system is also flexible because it is configured to allow multiple manufacturers and to allow various feature configurations via the use of License Template. The system is also scalable, as it is possible to use multiple LPS hosts to serve multiple programming stations. The system is available in that the delegation of license signing capability from CLS to LPS eliminates the dependency on unreliable Internet connections. Redundant LPS hosts provide high level of availability required for high volume license provisioning.

Abstract: Techniques are described controlling and managing machines to provide laundry services. A request may be received from a mobile device of a user, the request indicating that the mobile device is in proximity to a laundry machine such as a washer or dryer. In some cases, the request is sent by the mobile device based on detecting, at the mobile device, a wireless signal transmitted from the laundry machine. In some cases the request may include a code that identifies the laundry machine, the code being displayed by the machine and/or encoded in a scannable code displayed by the machine. In response to the request, a signal may be sent to activate the laundry machine and enable the user to use the laundry machine for a predetermined period of time (e.g., a cycle). In some cases, the activation signal is sent if the user's payment is successfully processed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing a searchable aggregated data structure for a networked application. Source data in a plurality of formats is acquired from delivery service computers associated with food or beverage delivery services over a communication network. Acquired source data includes, for each of the food or beverage delivery services, data representing multiple source menu items provided by multiple restaurants. Acquired source data is mapped according to a predetermined data format. Formatted data is linked to common restaurants based on restaurant identifier data. Common menu items among the source menu items are identified, and, for each identified common menu item, the source menu items are associated with a master menu item. Linked data and master menu items are combined into a master data set. The master data set and the restaurant identifier data are imported into the searchable aggregated data structure.

The method includes identifying a container identification (ID) of a container with a scanner communicatively coupled to a portable computing device. The container ID is sent from the portable computing device to a warehouse server via a network. The container information is received at the portable computing device from the warehouse server in response to the container ID. The container information is communicated to a heads up display communicatively coupled to the portable computing device. Delivering the container to a target destination in the warehouse, based in part on the container information for the container. A delivery confirmation is initiated at the heads up display for the warehouse server when the container is delivered to the target destination. The delivery confirmation occurs at the time of delivery to the target destination.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that include controlling operation of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system that utilizes information from a plurality of temperature sensors to monitor, verify, determine, and/or discover whether a temperature sensor is properly located in proximity to a dome of a compressor of the HVAC system. When the HVAC system determines that the temperature sensor associated with the dome of the compressor is not properly located, the HVAC system may initiate a shutdown of the compressor and/or other components of the HVAC system, generate a signal, present a message, and/or otherwise provide a notification of the improper temperature sensor placement, and/or reduce a runtime of the compressor, operate the compressor at a lower speed, reduce a power consumption of the compressor, and/or otherwise control the compressor and/or associated components to effectuate a reduced compressor dome temperature.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method can comprise receiving a request for one or more orders, and analyzing the one or more orders. Each of the one or more orders can comprise one or more items and at least a portion of the one or more items are available at a warehouse. The method can further comprise determining one or more pick lists based at least in part on the analyzing the one or more orders and also based at least in part on an inventory layout of the warehouse, determining a first route for a first pick list of the one or more pick lists, and determining a second route for a second pick list of the one or more pick lists, wherein the first pick list and the second pick list each comprise a first common item.
