The electronic receipt management system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a data collecting device configured to detect a control event transmitted from a payment device to a printer output unit, collect data transmitted from the payment device to the printer output unit, and convert the collected data into a predefined format, and an electronic receipt management device configured to receive the data converted into a standardized format from the data collecting device, compare the received data and a user database for matching a receipt user, and issue an electronic receipt to the matching user.

Abstract: A receipt issuing device, control method for a receipt issuing device, printing device, and a control method for a printing device can eliminate issuing unnecessary receipts without requiring changing the application of the host device. A transaction information reception unit 61 receives transaction information from a host device 2 that outputs transaction information and specific commands. Abstract: A method and system for providing synchronous display at a customer mobile device of a vendor point of sale register receipt in the process of being created is disclosed. The method may include, at a customer mobile wireless device, initiating a live register receipt application and authentication process with a live register receipt provider, receiving and forwarding unique vendor register identification information and forwarding that information to the live register receipt provider. In response the customer mobile device receives and displays line item data from the identified vendor register via the provider in real-time. The system may include a customer mobile device configured to implement the live register receipt functionality described and a live register receipt provider configured to communicate live register data from vendor registers and mobile devices.

A mobile expense capture application is an integral part of a networked expense management service such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) service. A user interface enables users to enter expense related information and accept/reject/edit prompted values for various entries. Upon completion of the entries, the information is transmitted to the networked service and/or stored locally. At least a portion of the information is automatically provided based on a location and/or action of the user. Furthermore, the mobile computing device is capable of capturing an expense document and retrieving at least some of the expense information from the captured document.

Some embodiments may include a system including a merchant device and a consumer facing device. Abstract: A system and method for providing load balanced secure media content and data delivery (10) in a distributed computing environment is disclosed. Media content is segmented and encrypted into a set of individual encrypted segments on a centralized control center (15). Each individual encrypted segment has the same fixed size. The complete set of individual encrypted segments is staged to a plurality of intermediate control nodes (17, 19). Individual encrypted segments are mirrored from the staged complete set to a plurality of intermediate servers (21a-b, 23a-b). Requests are received from clients (11) for the media content at the centralized control center. Each individual encrypted segment in the set is received from one of an intermediate control node and an intermediate server optimally sited from the requesting client. The individual encrypted segments are reassembled into the media content for media playback.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for enabling more efficient tipping by enabling a merchant to customize sales receipts for customers. The generated receipts may have a quick legend section. In one embodiment, a method includes automatically determining, based on one or more rules, an algorithm by which a plurality of selectable tip options for a transaction are to be calculated. The method further includes calculating, according to the algorithm, the plurality of selectable tip options for inclusion in a section of a transaction receipt for a transaction, generating the section on the transaction receipt, and enabling a user to configure the one or more rules so as to adjust how the algorithm is determined and how each of the selectable tip options is calculated under the algorithm. Among other benefits, the disclosed techniques increase the efficiency in tipping, reduce the chances for error, and enable a better overall shopping experience.

The annotation data may comprise graphic annotations input by the customer or a sales associate on a touch screen display of the POS terminal. The graphic annotation is overlaid on an image of a receipt, such that it is associated with the proper items, prior to printing, e-mailing, or otherwise transferring the receipt to the customer. The annotation data may comprise text extracted from the graphic annotation and associated with an item. The annotation data may comprise a prepared graphic, audio, or media file selected by the sales associate at the POS terminal; the file is rendered when the customer displays the receipt image file received by wireless transmission or email.

The method may comprise self-moving the mobile robot drone system to a mail or goods receiving location. Itinerary to the mail or goods receiving location is determined based on itinerary data received from a GPS unit. In the location, the mobile robot drone system receives the mail or goods via a mail and goods compartment and then delivers the mail or goods to a predefined location. Based on user instructions, the mobile robot drone system electronically signs receipt verification documents or performs payment by displaying a payment barcode encoding user payment information. After delivering the mail or goods, the mobile robot drone system provides access to the mail and goods compartment.

When all items are correctly recognized by the sensing devices, the customer is charged for the items and an invoice is printed. In the event all the items are not correctly recognized the captured information is forwarded to a remote location for automated recognition processing and manual identification, if necessary. The device may also identify the customer's receipt store. A commercial establishment that accepts the customer's payment may generate an electronic receipt, and may deliver it to the receipt store specified by the customer's device. Product data including product identification data is obtained from a merchant electronic point of sale system as the consumer checks out. The product data is then automatically transmitted to a product registration system, such as via a consumer's mobile communication device having a product registration app. An auto-registration database is accessed to see if auto-registration is available for the product. If auto-registration is available for the product, then a request is made to the consumer to authorize auto-registration for the product. Abstract: Virtual account based digital cash protocols employ two pairs of private and public keys. Each public key is certified separately and the protocols do not use any blind signature schemes. As a result, the virtual account based digital cash protocols provide strong protection of the user privacy by using two certified public keys instead of a blind signature. One pair of certified keys consists of one master user private key and one master user public key. A second pair of certified keys consists of one pseudonym user private key and one pseudonym user public key. The use of a master key pair and a pseudonym key pair circumvents the need for blind signatures. As a result, the proposed protocols do not require blind signatures and do not add additional overhead and security requirements necessitated by conventional blind signature schemes.
