In some embodiments, the user attribute may be related to a business organization that the user belongs to. In some embodiments, the method may further include determining relevant content to be displayed based on the determined content type, and transmitting webpage data including the relevant content for rendering on a device as a graphical user interface (GUI). In some embodiments, a method comprises of receiving a request to create a dynamic content component and identifying content to be displayed therein. In some embodiments, the method may further comprises customizing a look and feel of the dynamic content component based on the user attributes, and generating a code to display the dynamic content component in response to the user accessing a webpage.

Abstract: A method for constructing a context profile within a system implementing symmetrical object profiles. The method includes establishing one or more contextual boundary parameters defining a context within which transactions occur. A plurality of transactions associated with the context is filtered using the contextual boundary parameters to obtain a pool of filtered transactions. Each of the transactions is conducted between at least two objects in the system including a plurality of objects associated with the symmetrical object profiles. An array of filtered objects including objects involved in at least one filtered transaction is established. Each filtered object is defined by a current version of a corresponding object profile and is associated with a corresponding transaction. The method includes generating a context object profile associated with the context that is based on attribute values of filtered object profiles associated with the array of filtered objects.

This open platform can be based on a standardized interface that enables parties to easily connect to and use the network. Services operating as senders, recipients, and in-transit parties can therefore leverage a framework that overlays a public network.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program are provided for providing a multi-merchant electronic shopping cart within a web browser. The shopping cart can be used at a plurality of unrelated merchant shopping sites and remains within the browser regardless of the displayed website. When a user selects the shopping cart, a user interface is displayed with information about a product on the website without navigating to a new webpage. If the product has options, the user is able to select for the options via the user interface. The user is also able to save products from a plurality of shopping sites to the shopping cart or purchase products from the shopping cart at one time. For each product to be purchased, a purchase transaction is conducted, on behalf of the user, with the merchant associated with the website from which the user added the product to the shopping cart.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention enable cardholders conducting an online transaction to be authenticated in real-time using a challenge-response application. The challenge-response application can be administered by an issuer or by a third party on-behalf-of an issuer. A challenge question can be presented to the cardholder, and the cardholder's response can be verified. The challenge question presented can be selected based on an analysis of the risk of the transaction and potentially other factors. A variety of dynamic challenge questions can be used without the need for the cardholder to enroll into the program. Additionally, there are many flexible implementation options of the challenge-response application that can be adjusted based on factors such as the location of the merchant or the location of the consumer.

Abstract: Multi-factor authentication using quantum communication (“QC”) includes stages for enrollment and identification. For example, a user enrolls for multi-factor authentication that uses QC with a trusted authority. The trusted authority transmits device factor information associated with a user device (such as a hash function) and user factor information associated with the user (such as an encrypted version of a user password). The user device receives and stores the device factor information and user factor information. For multi-factor authentication that uses QC, the user device retrieves its stored device factor information and user factor information, then transmits the user factor information to the trusted authority, which also retrieves its stored device factor information.

Abstract: An assembly management system allows a software service provider (SSP) to compile and upload client-specific client application code into a repository. The SSP deploys a client application comprising non-client-specific code to various clients. When a user logs in, a call is made to a web service, which queries the repository for code specific to the requesting client. If available, the web service sends a response with the name and version of the assembly to which the client is subscribed. If the locally-saved version does not match the version of the assembly in the repository, and if the SSP has permission to write to the client's disk, the web service retrieves the assembly and commits it to the disk. If the SSP does not have permission, the assembly is streamed to the client device and retained and executed in memory for the duration of the login.

Abstract: Methods and systems for enabling peer-to-peer systems are disclosed. The server system includes one or more processors, memory, and one or more programs stored in the memory. The server system receives from a first peer to peer node in a plurality of peer to peer nodes, a request for item information associated with one or more items. The server system converts the requested item information into a format useful for the peer-to-peer network. The server system transmits the requested item information to the first peer-to-peer node for persistent storage such that other peer-to-peer nodes in the plurality of peer-to-peer nodes can search for item information within the peer-to-peer network. The server system receives an authentication request from a second peer-to-peer node that is used to authenticate a transaction between a first user associated with the second peer-to-peer node and a second user.

An authenticated identity for a callee answering a call placed to a destination device is received at an intermediary device. The intermediary device then accesses a billing plan for the authenticated identity of the callee and loads the billing plan for specifying charges for the call, such that telephone service billed to the callee is accessible at multiple destination devices.

Order data from order management system database is synchronized to an order cache. When an order lookup is received, a business layer determines if the cache can appropriately service the order lookup. If so, the business layer routes the order lookup to the cache. Otherwise, the business layer routes the order lookup to the order management system database. In some embodiments, order lookups configured to impact state of the order management system database (e.g., that write or change order data) are routed to the order management system database. In these same embodiments, order lookups configured to not impact state of the order management system database (e.g., that read order data) are routed to the cache.

Users can initiate a secure transaction over a call, such as a telephone call, in which the identities of up to all participants can be validated prior to sending or receiving of payment, financial or other sensitive information. A transaction module collects and verifies all necessary transaction information and resources. User can be prompted to confirm or approve the transaction prior to completion of the transaction. Summaries of the transaction can be sent to users or stored in record keeping.

A second computing device accesses the first synchronization file, translates the transaction records in accordance with a second vendor interface, and submits the translated transaction records to a second closed system via a second vendor interface for application to a second closed system.

Abstract: A system and method in a virtual universe system for triggering scans of virtual items and inventories of virtual items and for scanning the virtual items and inventories wherein the scans may be triggered by an avatar moving or teleporting from one region to another, or by an avatar picking up, dropping off, or accepting or purchasing an item. The degree of scanning may depend upon factors such as location where these scan triggers occur. The signature of the item may be identified by the scan process. The item signature may be compared against signatures of known malicious items stored in an inventory item signatures database and a summary of the signature comparison may be sent to a resident and stored in the resident's inventory.

According to one embodiment, contact content including an associated GPS identifier and status for web-based social network members located at or near the same location automatically appears on a GPS-enabled device. A further exemplary system includes a GPS-enabled device configured to receive a GPS identifier and a status representing a location and a current state for a web-based social network member, a processing module that associates the received GPS-identifier and the received status, and a communications module that sends the associated GPS-identifier and status to a server comprising a web-based social network database. Contact content in a web-based social network database record in the web-based social network database is updated to include the associated GPS identifier and status for the web-based social network member.

Abstract: A system that supports multiple contact centers includes a communications network that is coupled between a private network (e.g. MPLS network) and a remote computing environment (e.g. cloud environment). A server system in the remote computing environment monitors health of different network segments (e.g. bandwidth of the connection between the communications network and the remote computing environment, bandwidth of a link used by a tenant to access the private network, etc.). When it is determined that quality of service for voice conversations for one or more contact centers is at risk due to a health status parameter of a network segment reaching a threshold, an appropriate system reaction is triggered. The system reaction may be to offload future calls to a peer remote computing environment to service future calls. The system reaction may also be to cancel outbound campaigns, provide pre-determined “sorry” messages, and the like.

An example method includes receiving, at a first online service provider, a plurality of profile information items from a user and storing, by the first online service provider, the profile information items in an identity profile associated with the user. A returns frequency index is calculated for the user based on the user's transaction history. The user's transaction history includes the user's history of item returns. It is determined whether or not to make an item listing visible to the user on the e-commerce site based on the returns frequency index for the user. In some embodiments, the returns frequency index is calculated using the mathematical expression (VRet/NRet)/(VPurch/NPurch), wherein VRet is a total value of items returned by the user, NRet is a total number of items returned by the user, VPurch is a total value of items purchased by the user, and NPurch is a total number of items purchased by the user.

Abstract: In economic networks, it is not currently possible to observe all flows between entities. Only a portion of relationships between firms is known publicly, and only a portion of those relationships is assigned values through reporting requirements by the regulating public institutions. Therefore, obtaining a plurality of documents that describe companies and their known connections through public sources will necessarily result in an incomplete matrix of customer-supplier relationships containing some mixture of known relationships with known values, known relationships with unknown values, and unknown relationships with unknown values. A method and system is presented to obtain a best estimate of all unknown values given the known information in the network, including an amount that is assigned to unknown entities to be discovered later.

For example, locations associated with jointly purchased items may be tracked such that joint purchasers may be notified when possession should be transferred (e.g., when the current owner's turn expires, when one owner exceeds a usage proportion allocated thereto, etc.). Furthermore, ownership over certain jointly purchased items may be automatically managed (e.g., an electronic item may be transferred from one joint owner to another when the current owner's turn expires, joint owners may be required to be in proximity to use the item, etc.).

The catalog of digital content listings describes digital content available for download. The selection may be received from a mobile device of a merchant operating a brick-and-mortar store. Digital content listings are accessed from the catalog of digital content listings based on the received selection of digital content listings. A consumer is determined to be located within a pre-defined distance from a brick-and-mortar store. The accessed digital content listings are presented to the mobile device of the consumer.

The retailer may provide items to the reseller at a discount. The price paid by a customer may include a markup from the reseller. The reseller may have a reseller code. When a resold item is purchased by a customer, the reseller code may be provided to the retailer. Based on the reseller code, the retailer may determine the price to be charged to the customer. After an item is purchased by a customer, the markup for the reseller may be paid to the reseller. Resellers may be organized in a hierarchical relationship. One or more of the resellers above the reseller corresponding to the reseller code may receive a portion of the markup for the item.
