Abstract: In certain embodiments, a presentation of a user interface may be dynamically modified for a user based on data related to the user's email address or other user identifier. As an example, the user interface may be caused to reflect the look and feel of an interface of an entity trusted by the user, incorporate data items related to the user's identifier, or effectuate other modifications. In some embodiments, a user identifier of a user may be received via a user interface associated with the third party, and a query for data related to one or more user accounts associated with the user identifier may be generated. Based on the query, multiple datasets associated with different user accounts may be received, and a first dataset associated with a first account of the user may be selected over other datasets associated with the user's other accounts effectuate the presentation modification.

Abstract: Disclosed is an inventory management system capable of tracking and accounting for partially used inventory. The management system for partial inventory contains a scale scanner hardware component and a software database component. The system may also populate input tables for experiments or generate findings based on analyzed managed inventory. Further, the system may create reports based on the findings, which may contain supply and demand forecasts or inventory optimization recommendations.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to contextual authentication across different applications based on user communications. In some embodiments, a user is preauthenticated to certain actions on a second application based on the user's communication via a first application. The user's communication via a first application provides contextual information that may be used to preauthenticate a request to perform an action on the second application. Contextual information may include the user's communication itself, communications characteristics that are determined from the user's communications, or both.

Abstract: Techniques associated with a customer-facing device and a merchant-facing device are described herein. In an example, a system can include a customer-facing device configured with a customer application that is executable on an operating system of the customer-facing device to (i) display information to a customer and (ii) receive input from the customer, wherein the customer-facing device includes a payment reader to read payment data from a payment instrument in association with a payment transaction between the customer and a merchant, and a merchant-facing device configured with a merchant application that is executable on an operating system of the merchant-facing device to (i) display information to the merchant and (ii) receive input from the merchant. In at least one example, the customer-facing device and the merchant-facing device can communicate to process, at least in part, the payment transaction associated with the payment instrument via a remote payment service system.

A substitution similarity between the item and another item based on the item embeddings can be identified.

A customer device, e.g., a smart phone, can generate an order for purchasing one or more goods or services from a merchant. A list of the items can be stored in a data structure designated as a tab. The list is routed to a merchant device, e.g., a tablet computer. The customer device can be carried by a user to the merchant. When the user reaches the merchant, the customer device or merchant device can receive a request to add an additional item to the list. The tab remains open and modifiable until the customer device or merchant device receives an input to close it. Payment for the goods or services listed in the modified tab is processed upon closing of the tab.

Abstract: Payment platforms such as point of sale terminals can send test transactions to an acquirer processor certification and analytics system for certification of the payment platform's readiness to perform financial transaction processing with payment networks. A payment platform sends a test transaction to an acquirer processor and receives a unique request identifier. The request identifier and a test identifier associated with the test transaction are sent to an analytics engine that retrieves data associated with the test transaction from the acquirer processor, and expected values based on the test identifier. The analytics engine performs a comparison and determines a certification result for the payment platform based on the comparison. Based on certification results, authorization or licenses can be granted to payment platforms to use payment networks of the acquirer processor.

If an EDC is authentic, then the processor compares the EDC against the ticket to determine if the EDC qualifies, and if so, then the EDC is redeemable. In one aspect, a method is provided for aggregating on-demand deliveries using a depot dispatch protocol. The method comprises dispatching runners to pick up on-demand orders for drop off at a depot where the orders are aggregated and batched based on optimized delivery routes and destination proximities. Batches of orders are then assigned to couriers who may arrive at the depot to receive the batched orders without having to navigate through areas of high congestion. Such delivery routing system may be implemented alongside a delivery tracking system for generating estimated time of arrival predictive updates for real-time delivery of perishable goods.

Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to providing selectable autofill suggestions, which correspond to application actions that are at least partially fulfilled using server command data—prior to a user selecting a particular selectable autofill suggestion. Abstract: Systems and processes for operating an intelligent automated assistant in a messaging environment are provided. In one example process, a graphical user interface (GUI) having a plurality of previous messages between a user of the electronic device and the digital assistant can be displayed on a display. The plurality of previous messages can be presented in a conversational view. User input can be received and in response to receiving the user input, the user input can be displayed as a first message in the GUI. A contextual state of the electronic device corresponding to the displayed user input can be stored. The process can cause an action to be performed in accordance with a user intent derived from the user input. A response based on the action can be displayed as a second message in the GUI.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to generating user-specific time-to-live (TTL) values using machine learning. In various embodiments, a server system maintains a cache data store that is operable to store data for a plurality of users of a web service. In response to a cache miss for a request from a first one of the plurality of users, the server system may generate a user-specific TTL value for the first user. In various embodiments, generating the user-specific TTL value may include using a machine learning model to generate a predicted future access pattern for the first user that indicates a distribution of time periods during which the first user is expected to access the web service and, based on the predicted future access pattern, determining the user-specific TTL value for the first user.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for processing payment transactions that are conducted using a mobile device that includes a contactless element, such as an integrated circuit chip. The invention enables the updating, correction or synchronization of transaction data maintained by an Issuer with that stored on the device. This is accomplished by using a wireless (cellular) network as a data communication channel for data provided by an Issuer to the mobile device, and is particularly advantageous in circumstances in which the contactless element is not presently capable of communication with a device reader or point of sale terminal that uses a near field communications mechanism. Data transferred between the mobile device and Issuer may be encrypted and decrypted to provide additional security and protect the data from being accessed by other users or applications.

Abstract: A first interface, such as a set of search results, is presented that includes first data in a first region and second data in a second region. Presented data may include images, text, or other information associated with items available for purchase. User input indicating a portion of the first data is received. In response to the user input, third data that is related to the indicated portion of the first data is determined. The third data is presented in the first region of the interface in place of the first data. Further input to the first region may return the first data to view. As a result, a user may view the third data within the first interface without navigating to a separate interface. Selection of a navigational link associated with the third data may navigate to a portion of a subsequent interface where the third data is presented.

A system server establishes a platform for a user to place a request order for the product or service, and the user is enabled to place the request order for delivery of the product or service by depositing an emoji character. The player simultaneously maintains the variant manifests in the player. The player determines an effective start time of the video stream based upon the selecting video channel where the effective start time is a time later than an earliest time referenced in the plurality of variant manifests. The player enables reverse of the video stream based upon one of the variant manifests to as early as the effective start time and not enabling reverse of the video stream based upon one of the variant manifests to a time earlier than the effective start time.

Abstract: Methods and systems for subscription to retail browsing sessions. While two users are independently browsing the same merchant's store in parallel, the system may enable sharing or cross-sharing of commerce event data from a first user's browsing session to be injected into the other user's browsing session, so that the other user may follow along with the first user's browsing activity. The sharing may be dependent upon the first user enabling a live browse event and the other user subscribing to it. The sharing may be dependent upon subscribers having an active browsing session in the same merchant store as the first user's browsing session. To the extent that a subscribing user navigates to a different merchant or store, the sharing of commerce event data may be stopped or reduced to reflect the fact that the two users are no longer browsing the same merchant location in parallel.
