A computing platform may process a first request, resulting in first information indicating a first transfer of resources from a buyer of an item to a seller. The computing platform may record, in a distributed ledger, the first information. The computing platform may receive a second request corresponding to another sale of the item, and may process the second request, which may result in second information indicating a second transfer of resources from another buyer to the seller. The computing platform may record, in the distributed ledger, the second information, and may cause the item to be sent from the buyer to the other buyer. The computing platform may identify, using the distributed ledger, that the item has been received by the other buyer, and may cause a third transfer of resources from the seller to the buyer.

Abstract: Various techniques for predictive replenishment of a sample of an item in accordance with an automatically adaptive schedule is described, including receiving at an adaptive distribution platform multiple requests for one or more items to be replenished by the adaptive distribution platform, analyzing each of the requests to identify an electronic request message associated with each of the requests and the items, identifying in the electronic request message an item characteristic associated with at least one item of the items to be replenished by the adaptive distribution platform, linking the item characteristic to a profile, and generating a control signal to a merchant computing system, the control signal including control data associated with replenishing the item and profile data.

Abstract: A variety of systems and methods are disclosed, a method comprising connecting a user, operating a kiosk, and a service specialist, operating a service specialist station, such that the service specialist is capable of supporting the user in servicing an electronic device from a remote location, the method comprising: engaging a portion of the kiosk; establishing a two-way communication connection between the kiosk and the service specialist station thereby allowing the user and the service specialist to interact in real time; allowing the service specialist to inspect the electronic device; determining a service the electronic device needs based on the results of the service specialists inspection; and servicing the device, wherein the service specialist guides the user through steps required for performing the determined service on the electronic device via step-by-step instructions.

Abstract: A system for providing a search service application is disclosed and includes an application builder component that provides a search model for a first object of a plurality of objects. The search model is based at least on an end-user input field corresponding to a first attribute of the first object and a search result output field corresponding to a second attribute of the first object. The search model is also associated with a backend data store that supports a storage structure that stores information relating to the first object. The system also includes a deployment engine that automatically configures a search engine system associated with the backend data store to place a portion of indexed data into a first partition and to place another portion of indexed data into at least another partition based on the search model.

Abstract: Examples describe data security for communication systems. One example includes validating a merchant system using merchant data and generating a set of merchant credentials. The set of merchant credentials is then used in authentication to facilitate a secure transaction, which involves automatically generating transaction data with a tokenized client account number associated with the secure transaction. A refund request associated with the secure transaction is received with the set of merchant credentials that are used for automatically authenticating the merchant system. The example then involves accessing a database that includes the transaction data for automatically facilitating settlement of a refund payment using the authenticated merchant system and the transaction data.

Abstract: A system for event-based peer-to-peer resource transfers. The system may include a controller configured for tracking and confirming resource transfers, the controller being further configured to: generate a resource transfer for transferring a resource from a first user device to a second user device, where the resource transfer includes a conditional event for triggering a transfer of the resource, and where the conditional event is accepted by the first user device and the second user device; receive the resource from the first user device, where the resource is held separate from the first user device and the second user device; determine that the conditional event has been executed by at least one of the first user device and the second user device; and based on the determining that the conditional event has been executed, trigger the transfer of the resource to the second user device.

Abstract: A computer method for identifying product in a distributor's inventory system that fulfills a product request made via a natural language query. the natural language query is received as a product request including multiple words in sequential order. The words are vectorized into word-vectors that are concatenated and used to generate a query embedding. The query embedding is processed utilizing a trained product category classifier that predicts which product category the requested product belongs. Forward and backward sequence vectors are generated from the sequentially ordered words of the query that are concatenated and processed using a trained model specific to the predicted product category. The sequence vectors represent positional relationships between the words of the natural language query. Thereafter, the system identifies product attribute(s) embodied in the natural language query that each correspond to a predetermined key-characteristic of the category.

Abstract: Techniques for generating a digital wardrobe are presented herein. A transceiver can be configured to receive a request having a garment identifier and a user identifier. Additionally, an access module can be configured to access a first garment model, access a body model of the user corresponding to the user identifier, and access a second garment model corresponding to the user identifier. Furthermore, a processor can be configured by a garment simulation module to position the body model inside the first garment model and the second garment model, and calculate simulated forces based on the positioning. Moreover, a rendering module can be configured to generate an image of the garment models draped on the body model based on the calculated simulated forces. Subsequently, a display module can be configured to cause presentation of the generated image on a display of a device.

The systems and methods include detecting a reservation request indicating a list of items and a purchase code and querying an inventory database to determine that the list of items are available. Specifically, these various embodiments improve the likelihood of a successful RF network design by identifying and preferentially utilizing RF transmission sites having a relatively high probability of being successfully incorporated into the RF network. These various embodiments provide a site qualification database that includes site data for a plurality of RF transmission sites. When so implemented, the site qualification database is utilized to analyze the site data and generate a plurality of site scores for the corresponding RF transmission site, which can then be utilized in an RF analysis.

Abstract: A method of conducting a transaction between a merchant Point of Sale system (POS) and a customer device is presented. Abstract: Systems and methods for purchasing items using a payment processing service (PPS) that checks inventory of merchant(s) and generates interactive components displayed by a third-party platform. Inventory data for merchants is stored by the PPS. The PPS receives an indication of input to a graphical user interface (GUI) presented by the third-party platform. The input represents a desire of a customer to purchase an item from a brick-and-mortar store of a particular merchant. The PPS determines that the merchant does not have the item available but determines it is available at a similar merchant's store. The PPS generates an interactive component comprising an image of the item and a selectable control to be used to initiate purchase from the similar merchant. The interactive component is displayed via the GUI, overlaid with customer-specific item variant information. Selection of the component allows the customer to add the item to a cart.

A hierarchically-segmented blockchain network may include S segment ledger systems associated with S network segments and G local ledger systems. In response, various embodiments of the present invention utilize a centralized global ledger monitoring system that non-persistently monitors the S+G monitored systems via periodic chaincodes that are configured to verify targeted transactions associated with particular local ledgers and/or segment-wise ledgers during particular transactional junctures associated with ledger data.

Abstract: A package tracking system comprises a package room for holding packages intended for delivery to one or more package recipients, an optical sensing device positioned to capture one or more images of each package brought to the package room, one or more light sources, and a computing system including a processor, memory, and executable code stored on the memory. The duration-identification model may be applied to stored transaction data to determine duration information associated with the service(s) performed by the merchants. Based on the service information and duration information, user interface components may be generated without user input from a user. The user interface components may correspond to the service and periods of time for performing the services.

Abstract: An encrypted payment message is received from a buyer relating to a transaction with a merchant. The payment message is parsed using a first parsing algorithm to obtain merchant identifying information. The merchant identifying information is associated with at least a second parsing algorithm or at least one settlement algorithm. The payment message is parsed using the second parsing algorithm to obtain payment information for the transaction. A first settlement algorithm is applied to the payment information to determine an adjusted interchange rate. The payment information including the adjusted interchange rate is submitted to a third party settlement processor on behalf of the merchant, using a payment algorithm. A second settlement algorithm applied to the payment information determines a buyer rebate which can be submitted to the settlement processor. A transaction result is reported to at least one of the merchant or the buyer.

A total winnings and a total losses incurred by the player during the gaming period is computed, and an aggregate amount that comprises a summation of the total winning and the total losses during the gaming period is also computed. Based on the location of the gaming device, determine a jurisdiction that governs the aggregate tax liability. Compute the aggregate tax liability based on the aggregate amount and the jurisdiction.

Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method for conducting a secure payment transaction for a purchase at a merchant using a client device and a remote point-of-sale (POS) system associated with the merchant. The method includes receiving, with a client device, at least one identifier for at least one product to be purchased, the at least one product associated with a transaction value, and detecting a checkout action with the client device. The picker selects a pin, which causes the user interactive map to display a notification characterizing the demand for services at the retailer.

The transfer system constructs a flow network having a source node for each of the plurality of the source sites and a destination node for each of the plurality of the destination sites. An integral approximate solution is generated that transfers the corresponding quantities of the types of requested items to each of the plurality of the destination sites using a maximum flow solver and the flow network.
