The client extracts vendor indicia and organization indicia from the captured identification. The client sends a query comprising the organization indicia to an identification service. Responsive to the client receiving a response from the identification service with a network address of a particular identity verification service associated with the at least one organization indicia, the client sends a query comprising the vendor indicia and the current location of the threshold to the particular identity verification service. Responsive to the verification client receiving a response from the particular identity verification service indicating that the user is validated, the client notifies the user that the individual is validated as the vendor of the organization.

The product contains, in segments of a non-volatile memory, several different functions stored in ciphered fashion. The process involves, in a first phase, the sending by the host device of a control signal for executing a function, with the product functioning to decipher the function and store the unciphered function in the non-volatile memory. The process further involves, in a second phase, the sending by the host device of a control signal for causing execution of the deciphered function, with the product functioning to execute the function and send a result of this execution back to the host device. The host device evaluates the received result to verify product authenticity.

A Compliance Management System (“CMS”) may generate a keycode indicating a necessary BPA teat which is sent to a purveyor. The purveyor may transmit the keycode to a BPA owner, and the BPA owner may transmit the keycode to a tester. The tester may enter the keycode into a Backflow Test Application (“BTA”) which identifies the BPA. The tester may test the BPA and enter test results into the BTA on a portable device. The BTA may transmit the test results to the CMS. CMS may integrate the test results into a to of BPA test results. A purveyor may approve the test results, and the CMS may generate a new keycode for the next annual test for the BPA.

Abstract: System(s) and method(s) are provided for notification of registration of a mobile device with femto coverage for firmware content management. An attachment component that administers location of mobile devices or a femto access point (AP) conveys a notification to a network platform that manages firmware content updates when a mobile device for which firmware update is available hands off from wireless macro coverage onto femto coverage through the femto AP. The notification is triggered in response to firmware update notification received by the attachment component, or an update flag received by the femto AP. Upon reception of the notification, to exploit wireline bandwidth, the network platform delivers firmware content(s) update through backhaul link to the femto AP to which the mobile device is registered. Femto APs not provisioned to serve a mobile device can be incentivized to authorize the mobile device for coverage and thus facilitate firmware updates.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining employer compliance in determining employment eligibility requirements in accordance with federal immigration regulations. Compliance alerts and compliance tips are displayed for guiding employers in verifying employment eligibility. Completed employment eligibility forms are automatically audited to analyze whether the employer has accurately completed the employment verification. The completed forms are audited by applying various compliance rules to a completed employment eligibility form, presently a Form I-9, to determine compliance with the applicable regulations. A listing is provided of various errors and additional data required to complete the audited form. The method is preferably administered by a single service provider for multiple employers, to assure that changes in the applicable regulations are regularly incorporated.

Abstract: The registration of an individual for a service while providing protection against unintentional duplication of registration for the same organization. Upon receiving a request to register for a service from an individual over a network, it is automatically estimated as to whether the individual requesting registration belongs to the same organization as a prior registrant for the service. If so, the service notifies the individual requesting registration that they might belong to the same organization as a prior registrant. In one embodiment, it is then left to the individual as to whether they want to continue registering for the service.

Abstract: Techniques for automatically monitoring and reporting pest infestation in a distributed work environment, and resolving detected non-compliances. Sensors are configured to collect various types of data in the distributed work environment, including data related to pest traps and data related to human inspection and handling of pest traps. A rules engine analyzes the data collected from the sensors to determine compliance with a set of rules related to pest infestation. Other types of data that may be collected by sensors and analyzed by the rules engine include machine data, biological data, and environmental data. The rules may include governmental regulations, industry standards, and company specifications. If the rules engine detects existing non-compliance and/or potential non-compliance in the collected data with at least one of the rules, it generates alerts, remediation instructions, and/or takes actions to resolve the non-compliance.

Based on the various computed hand hygiene rates, a hand hygiene improvement metric that identifies the improvement in hand hygiene rates over time is also calculated by the system.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for establishing and assuring fringe benefit compliance for contracts subject to government acts and agreements. Client data is received by a computing system with a link to a database. The information is subsequently stored in the database. The computing system may provide a report including the client data. The data may then be manipulated by one of the following services: an employee fringe benefits management information system program service, a trust/escrow account service, a consulting service, and a retroactive auditing service. Analyses are created relative to the services rendered to the client data. Analyses are then periodically compared with refined parameters to stay within the boundaries of industry legalities. The disclosure further provides a system and computer program product for establishing and assuring fringe benefit compliance for contracts subject to government acts and agreements.

Abstract: This system provides a rating related to livestock producers' compliance with certain animal husbandry protocols. The system accepts data from other systems or data entry related to movement and location of animals, certification of caretakers, management compliance statements, and documents pertaining to herd health. Additionally, the system provides means to remind employees when recertification is necessary and administer refresher courses to prepare the employee for recertification. Finally, the system can record onsite assessments and remind when they come due. Taking this information into account, the system generates a rating. This rating may be made available to entities outside the producer and signifies the level of compliance the producer has with the various animal well-being protocols imbedded in the system and measured by the activities reported.

Abstract: A method for automated transfer of the unique ID of a consumer electronics device (CED) is disclosed. The method includes initiating registration of the CED with an external entity. The CED does not have ability to complete the registration with the external entity by itself. A unique identification for the CED is obtained and provided to the external entity in order to complete the registration of the CED. Registration of the CED is initiated by executing a registration program. The unique identification is obtained using a universal plug and play (UPnP) service that includes requesting the universal identification from the CED and receiving the universal identification from the CED. The unique identification is provided to the external entity by inserting it in an associated field provided as part of registration process. Apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.

The input of energy and RECs will automatically fit into existing data models, allowing immediate attribution upon upload. The invention will immediately calculate the energy balance of the input, accounting for such factors as resource generation, energy inputs, native load, station service, and obligations. Users can specify numerous energy and REC sources to be attributed simultaneously, such attribution happening according to either system or user-defined attribution policies. The invention allows users to manipulate the data to best facilitate use of their RECs, displaying REC positions over user-specified periods of time.
