  • Patent number: 11501371
Abstract: This invention provides a distributed energy transaction matching method based on energy network constraints and multiple knapsack model. First, it considers the matching between financial market transactions and actual energy network scheduling, then generates security constraints on the results of distributed transactions. Next, it designs a multiple knapsack model for peer-to-peer distributed transactions, which can meet the common quotation needs of users or producers who issue transactions and achieve efficient matching under energy network security checks. Finally, the model is verified based on the blockchain Ethereum smart contract test verification. This method provides new ideas for the connection between distributed energy trading and actual physical dispatch, proposes an inclusive and efficient matching model for the point-to-point distributed trading market, which has great reference value for the connection between distributed energy trading and actual conditions.

  • Patent number: 11468451
Abstract: Data valuation leveraging techniques in a sensor data environment are provided. For example, a method obtains, at a gateway, at least one value computed by at least one data valuation algorithm for at least one sensor data element generated by at least one sensor associated with a set of one or more sensors operatively coupled to the gateway. The method then leverages, by the gateway, the at least one value computed for the at least one sensor data element.

  • Patent number: 11468530
Abstract: Systems and methods for an electronic transaction platform that enables receiving a session request for an electronic communication session over a computing network to facilitate a financial instrument transaction. The electronic transaction platform receives session attributes for the electronic communication session, which define rules and/or permissions. Based on the session attributes, a stack software object is configured for the electronic communication session to control a stack graphical user interface (GUI) during the electronic communication session to selectively operate according to a set of participation levels. An invitee selection list is received indicating selected invitees to participate in the electronic communication session, and the electronic communication session is established based on the stack software object.

  • Patent number: 11468511
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining implied spreads are provided. More particularly, implied spread financial transactions are generated using information from requests for quotes (RFQs). An RFQ processor module may focus the calculations performed by an implied spread determination module. A financial instrument associated with an RFQ may be provided to the implied spread determination module to trigger the determination of whether implied orders exist related to that particular financial instrument.

  • Patent number: 11468524
Abstract: A system is presented for predicting the amount of energy required by a manufacturing plant over a period of time, and then providing a recommendation on the best amount of energy to sell at each period, taking into consideration the energy requirements based on the production schedule, the price of energy, possible penalties for over selling energy, and other factors. A user interface is provided to present relevant information to a user, allow the user to plan the use of energy, and determine the energy offering for sale in each period. Based on a known future production schedule of a steel mill, implementations provide a forecast of electrical energy usage per hour over the same time horizon as the production schedule. Based on the forecast and electricity selling and billing rules, a recommended amount of energy to be sold to the market by the hour is presented with the corresponding offer price.

  • Patent number: 11461846
Abstract: A disclosed system, method and computer readable storage medium includes mechanism for controlling cascade price movements in an electronic trading system. Price limits control the prices at which traders can place orders. An upper price limit prevents traders from placing orders above the upper limit and a lower price limit prevents traders from placing orders below the lower limit. The gap between the upper limit and the indicative marked price as well as the gap between lower limit and the indicative market price is controlled so as to cause a breaking effect on very rapidly changing market price.

  • Patent number: 11461768
Abstract: A balance and control system may write a data file transfer confirmation from a transmitter system to a blockchain in response to the transmitter system transmitting a data file to a receiver system with the confirmation including a transmitter system address, a receiver system address, and a first hash of the data file. The system may also write a data file transfer acknowledgement from a receiver system to the blockchain with the acknowledgement including the transmitter system address, the receiver system address, and a second hash of the data file. The blockchain may execute a smart contract to compare the first hash of the data file to the second hash of the data file to identify an out-of-balance file transfer event. A monitoring device of the B&C system may read the out-of-balance file transfer event from the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11461861
Abstract: Aspects of distributed ledger technology are leveraged to verify subrogation settlements. In particular, two parties to a subrogation claim provide cryptographic hashes to a subrogation demand smart contract stored at an address on a blockchain. The subrogation demand smart contract determines that the parties have reached an agreement by determining that the cryptographic hashes match. A settlement amount from the subrogation claim may be appended to a set of settlement amounts to determine a net settlement amount to facilitate a single payment between the parties on a periodic basis, such as daily, to alleviate the need for the parties to send or receive a payment for each individual settlement amount.

  • Patent number: 11455630
Abstract: The invention comprises a computer-implemented method and system for controlling an exchange process, such as a loan, conducted between at least two parties via a blockchain such as the Bitcoin blockchain. A method according to the invention may comprise the step of generating a first blockchain transaction which includes a redeem script. The redeem script comprises a cryptographic public key associated with an initiating party and metadata which includes a hash of an exchange-related document; a redeem address; and an amount of digital currency. A second blockchain transaction is generated and published to the blockchain so as to spend the digital currency to the redeem address. This provides the advantage that the further transaction will be publically available and thus detectable by other parties once it has been published. The further transaction can provide the information necessary to trigger a response e.g. an offer from another (responding) party who publishes their response on the blockchain.
