  • Patent number: 11308560
Abstract: The described technology displays, at a GUI, a graph of one or more financial curves having one or more actionable indicators indicative of one or more tradable events associated with modeling and/or trading at least one market asset or financial instrument at a financial marketplace. The one or more indicators display a current real-time market value of a tradable event associated with the market asset or financial instrument. Input is received at the GUI from a trader to perform an action associated with the financial curve. In response to receiving the input, the action is initiated and the results are displayed at the GUI.

  • Patent number: 11303389
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that provide low latency data communication with improved physical link layer reliability through repeated physical layer retransmission of data over a data connection whenever the connection is idle (i.e., no new data to send). In some embodiments, the transmission of administrative control symbols (e.g., “idles,” “commas”, etc.) can be suppressed or otherwise reduced to allow some of the available connection bandwidth to be used for data redundancy and fault tolerance through the repeated retransmission of data as described in more detail below. Accordingly, instead of executing time-consuming, error correcting routines, a receive node can discard the erroneous data frame and process at least one repeat frame that carries the same data payload. Sequence numbers and/or other repeat indicators can be used to distinguish original frames from repeat frames and/or for identifying which frames carry the same data payload.

  • Patent number: 11301911
Abstract: An on-line venue in which buyers can anonymously communicate precisely what product or service they want to purchase by posting an interactive request that a number of sellers/service providers can then directly respond to according to one embodiment of the invention. Such embodiments may promote the buyers interests in directly matching their needs with qualified vendors. In contrast to what others provide, where the buyer has to search within each seller/service providers and then send their request. Embodiments of the present invention broadcast a buyer's needs to relevant/selected sellers/service providers. Such embodiments may take the burden from a buyer in finding the right products and services by self-qualifying the lead to proactive prospective sellers/service providers.

Abstract: A system and method may determine the carbon emissions risk to an institution through its lending and investment activities to a plurality of counterparties by, for example, determining carbon emissions data for a number of counterparties and, for each counterparty, determining the carbon emissions risk to the institution. A system and method may determine the proportion of total capital of a counterparty that is being financed by a bank, and multiply this by a carbon emissions measure for the counterparty. Embodiments may be applied to determine optimal investment strategies for managing an institution's exposures to carbon risk over time.

  • Patent number: 11295382
Abstract: A system and method for mitigating the effects of transit time latency in the execution of global trade orders at remote exchange servers utilizes a generated complex order. End users with certain trading protocols directed to their asset classes provide the co-located server with their trading parameters, and further personalize their trade orders by establishing rules for executing the orders at each co-located server. This is known as their complex order. A deployed strategy engine generates a virtual machine at each co-located server, which thus allows the co-located server to execute complex orders received from the end user. The end user may modify or delete the complex order at each co-located server at any time. Transit time latency issues are drastically reduced under this system and method.

Abstract: A quantity modifier and a price modifier are provided for a spread trading strategy having a desired spread price and a desired spread quantity. According to an example embodiment, a quantity modifier divides the desired spread quantity into a plurality of disclosed spread quantities. Once the disclosed quantities are determined, a plurality of disclosed spread orders having the disclosed spread quantities are sequentially submitted to the market until the full desired spread order quantity is executed or until a predefined condition is detected. A price modifier determines a price level for each disclosed spread quantity, such that each disclosed spread order may be submitted at a different price level.
