Patient Record Management Patents (Class 705/3)
  • Patent number: 10430749
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the invention relate to a method for monitoring the use of sensitive products (16) in which the products and/or their packaging are marked and identified and then the products are marketed while storing successively their references in a CENTRAL FILE, associated with determined user customers and with suppliers, then in stock-management files (30, 30?) and, gradually as they are used at a user customer, in customer files (34, 34?, etc.). If one or more anomalies are found making it possible to qualify a product of determined type as defective (RD), data comprising the reference of the defective product can be automatically and simultaneously transmitted to all of the media of the various files, the reference of the defective product is automatically compared (35, 35?, etc.) with the product references appearing in the files, and in the event of a positive comparison, a warning signal is immediately or substantially immediately triggered.

  • Patent number: 10413813
Abstract: A gaming system employs bioinformatics to improve gamer performance and enhance the gaming experience. The gaming system monitors biometrics of gamers using gaming accessories having sensors coupled to the gaming accessories (e.g., a mouse with pulse sensor). Biometrics can be used to assess a crisis or panic reaction of the gamer. The system can also assess the state of the game in real time via API feedback, and coach the player on how best to regain control. The system can also predict a gamer's loss of control by monitoring hardware statistics associated with the game, combined with gaming feedback and biometric data, and can determine how best to coach the player to correct problems. Predictive models can be used to predict a gamer's panic attack or loss of control before it occurs. When a crisis occurs, the system can automatically contact the gamer's teammates to assist the gamer.

  • Patent number: 10340038
Abstract: Healthcare transaction validation systems and methods are presented. Healthcare transactions associated with a stakeholder are compiled into a chain of healthcare transaction blocks. The chain can be considered a chronicle of person's healthcare path through life. When a transaction is conducted, the corresponding healthcare parameters (e.g., inputs, outputs, clinical evidence, outcomes, etc.) are sent to one or more validation devices. The devices establish a validity of the transaction and generate a new block via a proof-of-work principle. Once the new block has been calculated it can be appended to the stakeholder's health care blockchain.

Abstract: An interactive media device comprises a remote control interface that receives a wireless signal from a corresponding remote control with an emergency button. A controller decodes the wireless signal to determine if the user has pressed a button of the remote control to operate an associated television or if the user has pressed the emergency button on the remote control. If the user has pressed a button of the remote control to operate the associated television, then a television interface that issues an instruction based on the wireless signal to the associated television. However, if the user has pressed the emergency button, a medical emergency interface that issues an alert to a local or remote response unit.

  • Patent number: 10339273
Abstract: A system including a range of motion, quality of sleep, overall, and control modules. The range of motion module, prior to a procedure being performed on a patient, determines a first range of motion score of the patient based on a first signal generated by a sensor. The quality of sleep module, prior to the procedure being performed on the patient, determines a first quality of sleep score or a first pain score based on the first signal. The overall module determines a combined score based on the first range of motion score and the first quality of sleep score or the first pain score. The control module compares the combined score to a predetermined threshold and predicts an outcome of the procedure based on the comparison. The control module, based on the combined score, determines whether to perform the procedure, adjust the procedure or refrain from performing the procedure.

  • Patent number: 10340041
Abstract: Apparatus for plotting pathological diagnoses on anatomical diagrams is provided. The apparatus may include a mapping tool. The mapping tool may identify a plurality of biopsy marker records including a received criterion. The mapping tool may identify a body part image associated with a body part image ID. The mapping tool may section the body part image into a first quadrant and a second quadrant. The mapping tool may loop through the plurality of biopsy marker records to identify an X,Y coordinate associated with each of the plurality of biopsy marker records. For each X,Y coordinate identifying a location within the first quadrant, the mapping tool may iteratively tally a first count for the first quadrant. For each X,Y coordinate identifying a location within the second quadrant, the mapping tool may iteratively tally a second count for the second quadrant.

  • Patent number: 10331682
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method are provided for implementing secondary profiles for members of an online application or service. Each member has a corresponding primary profile populated by the member, and a secondary profile populated with information from data sources other than the member. Each fact or entry in the secondary (or inferred) profile is accompanied by a confidence score reflecting confidence in the source of the fact, confidence that the fact is correctly associated with this member, and/or other factors. A given fact may be obtained or extracted from multiple sources, with each copy or version assigned a separate confidence score. In response to a request to identify members having a particular attribute, in addition to identifying members that have the attribute in their primary profiles, members having the attribute in their secondary profiles may be identified if the corresponding confidence scores are greater than a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10332631
Abstract: Provided is a system for automated medical decision-making. The system may include a first parser configured to parse text associated with medical information sources to obtain medical information and a second parser configured to parse patient data to obtain processed patient data. A processor, in communication with the first parser and the second parser, is configured to structure the medical information to form structured medical metadata in an intelligent medical database. Based on the structured medical metadata, the processor creates a causal network and receives the patient data from patient data sources. When the patient data is parsed by the second parser and the processed patient data is obtained, the processor maps the processed patient data against the causal network and generates the medical decision for the patient based on the mapping.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for automatically detecting and cleansing erroneous concepts in an aggregated knowledge base. A graph data structure representing the concept present in a portion of the natural language content is generated. The graph data structure is analyzed to determine whether or not the graph data structure comprises one or more concept conflicts in association with a set of nodes in the graph data structure, the one or more concept conflicts are associated with the set of nodes if two or more nodes represent separate and distinct concepts. Responsive to determining that there are one or more concept conflicts due to there being two or more nodes representing separate and distinct concepts, the two or more nodes are split into separate distinct concepts within the knowledge base.

  • Patent number: 10327711
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring subjects after discharge from a hospital use a dynamic baseline to determine whether a caregiver needs to be notified regarding exacerbation of a medical state of a subject. The subjects are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. The dynamic baseline is determined by aggregating (for example averaging) multiple values of a sequence of values for a metric that quantifies one or both of a patient symptom (e.g. the number of overnight apnea occurrences) and/or lung function of a subject (e.g. forced expiratory volume in 1 second). Multiple metrics may be combined to generate the value that is monitored for a subject.

  • Patent number: 10332638
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for predicting whether a patient has been exposed to an agent. Physiological data is recorded from the patient during a first time interval, and one or more features are extracted from the physiological data. A plurality of classifiers is identified, wherein each classifier is trained using training data for a respective specific post-exposure time interval. For each classifier and based on a respective subset of the one or more features, a patient state classification that indicates an initial prediction of whether the patient has been exposed to the agent is determined. An indication of a prediction that the patient has been exposed to the agent is provided when a number of patient state classifications indicating a positive initial prediction that the patient has been exposed to the agent exceeds a first threshold.
