Abstract: A method for filtering a product transaction data file involves receiving, by a computer, a query including one or more groups of attribute conditions for filtering the product transaction data file. The attribute conditions in the query are applicable to product attribute data records split across a set of vertically split attribute data files. The method further includes determining which of the product attribute data records split across the set of vertically split attribute data files satisfy all of the one or more groups of attribute conditions in the query, identifying product keys associated with the product attribute data records that satisfy all of the one or more groups of attribute conditions in the query, and using the so-identified product keys to filter product data records in the transaction data file.

Abstract: One method for transferring funds includes receiving at a web server computer a request to transfer funds from a sender to a receiver. The request includes information identifying the sender and a payment vehicle for providing funds to transfer. The payment vehicle is validated and a transaction identifier is generated or assigned. The transaction identifier may be transmitted from the web server computer to the sender. When ready to receive the funds, the transaction identifier is entered into an ATM. If the transaction identifier is validated, the funds are dispensed from the ATM.

Abstract: A device, system, and method for conducting a secure transaction over a network includes receiving from a merchant a price amount associated with a purchase selection made by a user and an identification of a stored-value financial instrument having been issued to the user, and participating in a user-free electronic dialogue with a non-integrated financial institution, the user-free electronic dialogue including a request to transfer funds from the non-integrated financial institution to satisfy the price amount associated with the purchase selection. The device, system, and method further includes determining whether there are sufficient funds associated with the stored-value financial instrument. The participation in the user-free electronic dialogue to request the funds transfer from the non-integrated financial institution occurs as a result of determining that there are insufficient funds.

Abstract: According to the invention, transferring money using a computer network is disclosed. In one step, information is saved on credit received for a first user (110) in a stored value account on a server computer system (170). At the server computer system (170), a request from the first user (110) to send money to a second user (130) based on the stored value account is received. An electronic notification is sent from the server computer (170) to the second user (130) to notify the second user (130) of the request. A debit in the stored value account of the first user (110) is created. The requested money is sent to the second user (130) upon a receipt of a request at the server computer (170) from the second user (130).

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein generally relate to providing insurance via an integrated investment and insurance account. An integrated account may have an owner, and may include an investment vehicle portion and an insurance policy portion. The investment vehicle portion may include or be associated with one or more investment vehicles via which the account owner may invest money and, based on the invested funds, the insurance policy portion may provide insurance for which the account owner is designated as the insured party. Premiums for the insurance policy portion may be borne by the operating expenses of the investment vehicle portion. Additionally, a payout or benefit amount of the insurance provided by such integrated accounts may be based on the value of accumulated assets under management of the investment vehicle portion at the time of the payout.

The system may create sharing session data using smart contracts executed by a distributed network system. Sharing session data may be stored using a smart contract. A second system may obtain the sharing session data and verify the sharing session based on the execution of the smart contract. On verification of the sharing session, a variety of data may be shared between the systems identified in the sharing session data. The sharing session data may be established between two systems and/or a number of systems. Smart contracts may provide a variety of functions for authorizing the sharing of data between systems. Additionally, encrypted data may be stored and/or obtained using a smart contract.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for performing consumer authentication in a tokenized transaction. The token in the authentication request may be resolved to corresponding credentials before the consumer authentication process is initiated. As part of an authentication system, the merchant computer may include a merchant plug-in module as a proxy between the merchant computer and an issuer access control server. The merchant plug-in module may communicate with the issuer access control server by sending verification and authentication messages to the issuer access control server via a directory server. The token may be resolved to corresponding credentials before the authentication request reaches the issuer access computer for authentication. The merchant plug-in module, the directory server or a token router coupled to the issuer access control server may each be in communication with one or more token service providers to de-tokenize the token provided by the consumer's user device.

The reasonability test includes conducting an automated comparison against established criteria that may be customized by users. The method includes generating one or more interactive reports that enable an organization to effectively manage its telecommunication services.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable storage to implement a lending or cash advance system that can be (but is not required to be) integrated with an online commerce site. Sellers on the online commerce site can click a button or tab in their web browser that is visiting the online commerce site and information known to the online commerce site is automatically shared with a potential cash provider. The information can include sales data related to the seller's business on the online commerce site that can be applied to a formula used by a cash provider to evaluate the risk associated with lending the seller cash. A financial account used by the seller can rapidly receive the cash loan (if approved) and payments received by the seller from buyers would go into this financial account which is then used to automatically pay the cash provider back at agreed upon terms.

A computing service provider may host execution of a plurality of instances of an interactive content item, such as a video game. Each content item instance may be accessible to a respective set of one or more authorized clients that are associated with the respective content item instance and that are authorized to access the respective content item instance. Additionally, in one embodiment, each content item instance may be inaccessible to one or more unauthorized clients, such as clients that are not associated with the respective content item instance and that are not included in the set of authorized clients. By limiting access to a content item instance to authorized clients, the content item instance may be protected from malicious users, such as hackers, DoS and DDos attackers, and other malicious users.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a hosted payment service are disclosed. In some embodiments, a merchant can enable customer use of the payment service by adding a line or sequence of widget code to a web page, such as a shopping cart page, of the merchant's site. Thereafter, a user who is registered with the payment service can invoke the payment service and complete a purchase transaction directly from the merchant site. For example, while viewing a shopping cart page, the user may be able to securely interact with the payment service and complete the purchase transaction via a transaction display object that is incorporated into the shopping cart page. In some embodiments, the transaction display object prompts the registered customer to enter a secondary authentication input, and the payment service uses this input in combination with a browser cookie to authenticate the user.

The payment system determines a recommended consumer account to use for the purchase of the good or services based at least in part on the transaction costs. Tender steering information is generated and sent to the consumer. Tender steering information includes the recommended consumer account information and one or more incentives to incentivize the consumer to use the recommended consumer account for the payment of the goods or services.

Abstract: The present invention provides apparatuses and methods for analyzing patterns and generating rules related to actions taken in auditing cargo air waybills. Various embodiments of the invention may receive one or more user actions applied to an air waybill and analyze the user's actions to determine if a pattern of behavior is consistent in the user's actions. When one or more patterns are determined, one or more rules may be generated based on the patterns and the actions. If a generated rule is approved by a user, the generated rule may be applied to any future air waybill sent to an accounting system for auditing. The integration of pattern analysis and rule generation may ease some or all of the burden of manually auditing thousands of air waybills daily and reduce the temporal costs of internal audit staff and the financial costs of employing an outside company to audit cargo air waybills.
