Abstract: Service management systems and associated methods are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a service management system can include a system for delivering various types of services including property management services, residential rental services, social services, low income housing services, and/or the like. One aspect of the disclosure is directed toward a computer implemented service management process (e.g., a property management process) that includes maintaining an inventory of property associated with a rental program, providing information associated with the rental program, processing an application to enter the program from a potential program participant, and administering various program elements of the rental program. In selected embodiments, the method can further include providing products/services and/or providing advertising. In still further embodiments, the method can include terminating the program participant's participation in the rental program/service management process.

Abstract: A system may read an input file having an input file size and including a first record and a second record. The first and second record may each have a record length. The system may parse the input file into a first split file and a second split file, with the first split file including the first record and the second split file including the second record. The system may distribute the first split file to a first node to generate a first output file and the second split file to a second node to generate a second output file. Any number of additional split files may be distributed to generate any number output files. The system may combine the output files to generate a converted data file.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for generation of locally broadcasted uniform resource locators for checkout and payment. A user or entity controlling a device may wish to establish a checkout and payment processes that allows payments to the user or device entity. The user or entity may cause generation of a broadcast that may contain information to retrieve the checkout and payment process. For example, the broadcast may contain a URL that unique identifiers the user or entity and the checkout and payment process for the payment requested by the user or entity. The broadcast may further include information, such as a description, amount, and a type of checkout and payment process. The URL may cause a device receiving the URL to load the checkout and payment process. The broadcast may be limited in range to a defined region through short range communications or geo-locations.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a memory that stores first data indicating an overview of billing or payment of money regarding a user, and second data indicating a specification of at least a part of the first data; a first generating unit that generates first image information which represents the first data before a request for the first image information being input; and a second generating unit that generates second image information which represents the second data in response to a request for the second image information being input.

Abstract: A rules engine for applying rules from a reviewing network to data signals from an originating network is described. The rules engine includes a processor coupled to a memory device. The rules engine is coupled to the reviewing network, and is configured to receive a clearing data signal from the originating network. The clearing data signal includes clearing data for at least one transaction that has been processed by the originating network. The originating network and the reviewing network are payment networks. Additionally, the rules engine generates a clearing response data signal that includes clearing response data by comparing the clearing data to the set of predefined rules stored in the memory device. The clearing response data indicates that the reviewing network will not guarantee settlement of at least one transaction included in the clearing data. The rules engine transmits the clearing response data signal to the originating network.

Abstract: A payment management apparatus according to an embodiment includes a purchase request receiving unit, a payment candidate selecting unit, a list information notifying unit, a selected information acquiring unit, and a payment unit. The purchase request receiving unit receives a purchase request transmitted from a user terminal. The payment candidate selecting unit selects payment candidates as candidates for a payer who pays a price for a purchasing object corresponding to the purchase request on behalf of a user who holds the user terminal. The list information notifying unit notifies the user terminal of information on a list of the payment candidates. The selected information acquiring unit acquires, from the user terminal, information on a payment candidate selected from the list of the payment candidates as information on a selected candidate. The payment unit performs a payment process on the purchasing object based on the information on the selected candidate.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for reporting payments to one or more credit bureaus according to instructions provided by a consumer. The system may provide the consumer with one or more user interfaces from which the consumer can select one or more options to report payments made to billers. In some embodiments, the reporting options are included as part of a biller's website or a bill payment center website. The system may enable faster reporting of payments made to some billers and may report payments made to billers who would not otherwise report payments.

Abstract: A computer system for validating an account to be used in an electronic payment includes a processor coupled to a memory device. The computer system is programmed to receive an account validation web request from a bill payment originator. The account validation web request includes account details. The computer system is further programmed to process the account validation web request to parse the account details, validate the account details associated with the account validation web request using at least one validation rule, and transmit an account validation web response to the bill payment originator.

Abstract: Systems and related methods facilitating payments with a mobile device are discussed herein. Circuitry in a networked-based payment system may be configured to receive payment information from a first device. The first device may include circuitry configured to wirelessly receive wallet identifying data from the payment system. The wallet identifying data may be used to secure messages between the first device and another device over a wireless link. For example, the first device may be configured to send the wallet identifying data to a second device, which may then communicate with the payment system. In response, consumer identifying data associated with the wallet identifying data may be received by the second device from the payment system. In some embodiments, use of wallet identifying data may be applied to other communications, such as for messages that authorize payment.

Abstract: Systems and methods that help ensure that assist a user with bill payment on a graphical user interface (GUI) are described. After receiving bill payment information from the user through the GUI, bill payments are aggregated over a given period of time, allowing a user to make a single payment to ensure that all appropriate bills and/or invoices are paid in a timely fashion. Through use of the GUI, a user can avoid the traditional hassle and stress of tracking and paying bills.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a computer-based system for managing just-in-time preparation and delivery of food products. In the system, customers can build, place, and pay for their order. Once the order is placed, the system will track the users location, only starting to prepare their food when the customer is within a specific proximity to the retail location. The proximity will be dynamic and expand and contract with the customer's movements. Finally, the system will coordinate the preparation, assembly and packaging of the order to provide just-in-time delivery of the customer's order, thereby reducing food waste and enhancing the freshness and taste of the product delivered to improve the customer experience.

Abstract: The present invention includes various novel systems and methods for communication in a network. A System Environment Monitor is employed in some embodiments to extract from the network both real-time and historical Network Metrics at the Infrastructure Layer, as well as Application Metadata at the Application Layer. Network analytics facilitate decisions based upon the differing characteristics of Application Components and lower-level hardware components across multiple DTTs. In response, an SDN Controller generates modified sets of SDN Flows, and implements them in real time across a mixed technology (multi-DTT) network in a manner that avoids disrupting existing SDN Flows and other real-time network traffic.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for an app provider to deliver information—such as notifications, alerts, messages, and other data—between client devices without the use of a third-party push token. When receivers are connected to the app provider system, the app provider will deliver a notification and the communication to the receivers without the use of a third-party push token. When receivers are not connected to the app provider system, the app provider may cache communications and notifications until the next time the receiver connects to the app provider.

Abstract: Computationally implemented methods and systems include acquiring a block of encrypted data that corresponds to an image that has been encrypted through use of a unique device code associated with an image capture device configured to capture the image that includes a representation of a feature of an entity, obtaining a privacy metadata that corresponds to a detection of a privacy beacon in the image, said at least one image captured by the image capture device, said privacy beacon associated with the entity, and determining, at least partly based on the obtained privacy metadata, and partly based on a calculation related to the block of encrypted data that corresponds to the whether to allow one or more processes related to the encrypted data block. Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for improving ease in initiating information transfers between devices. A user of a communications device accesses an image of a target recipient. With that recipient in view in the image, the user selects the portion of the screen where the recipient is displayed in the image. Pattern recognition is performed to extract one or more features of the selected portion of the screen as a recognized pattern. That recognized pattern is compared against multiple stored patterns that are associated with contacts in contact lists and/or other types of databases. Once a match is found, the user is prompted to confirm the identified recipient corresponding to the matching pattern and the data to transfer. Once confirmed, the data transfer is initiated based on the automatically determined recipient information.

Abstract: The methods and systems described herein provide for processing payments at a retail location whose infrastructure has been significantly removed from PCI scope. A request for processing payments may be sent from a point of sale lane to a back office server in communication with a credit card terminal. A user may use the credit card terminal to enter in secure payment information which is securely transmitted to a remote authorization service for authorization. Through this method, the credit card terminal and sensitive payment information may be securely isolated from the remaining infrastructure at the retail location.

Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may facilitate insurance-related tasks. UAVs may actively be dispatched to an insured asset and the area surrounding an insured asset, such as with the policyholder or insured's permission and collect data related to the insured asset, such as images, video, audio, weather conditions, thermal signatures, wood and soil samples, etc., and transmit this data to a computing device. The computing device may be associated with and/or utilized by an insurance provider to perform insurance-related tasks, such as processing the data to determine an amount of risk associated with the insured asset. If the amount of risk has increased, the computing device may provide a recommendation to a mobile device of the policyholder on how to reduce the risk such that corrective action may be taken. Insurance discounts may be provided based upon following recommendations that mitigate risk.

Abstract: A method for payment management includes identifying an invoice for a target financial transaction between a customer and a target vendor, and obtaining financial transaction records for completed financial transactions between the customer and vendors. The vendors include comparable vendors and the target vendor. The method further includes generating, using the financial transaction records, a payment prediction for the customer to pay the target vendor, analyzing a subset of the financial transaction records for the comparable vendors to generate a recommendation, and presenting, in a graphical user interface, the payment prediction and the recommendation.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a method of redirecting responses from an application server in a cloud environment is provided. A request is received from an instance of an application operating on a client device. The request is forwarded to an application server corresponding to the application. A generic error message from the application server sent in response to the user request is intercepted and the generic error message is redirected to a special application server hosting a special account established for the application, the special account indicating one or more actions to take in response to receipt of a generic error message, the one or more actions causing generation of a special error message and sending of the special error message to the instance of the application operating on the client device.

Payment messages are received from sending participants.

Abstract: A networked communications system that facilitates real-time interaction with persons-of-interest. The communications system includes an event scheduling workflow that, during a registration phase, allows users to register for a given event associated with a social influencer or other person-of-interest and, during the event, allows for a series of sequenced real-time direct and private interactions and engagements between or among the social influencer or other person-of-interest and respective users. This series of sequenced real-time, direct, and private interactions and engagements occurs automatically without requiring the participants to exchange contact or personally identifiable information (such as email addresses, phone numbers, chat identifiers, etc.) in order to initiate the real-time communications sessions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing concurrent secure elements on a mobile device to coordinate with an application or “app” running on the mobile device and an appropriate communications protocol for conducting transactions using the mobile device include: informing, by the processor, the reader device of a preferred app and a communication protocol usable by the preferred app; receiving, by the processor, information about which apps and communication protocols are supported by a reader for processing a transaction; locating, by the processor, a secure element supporting an app and a communication protocol supported by the reader; channeling the communication protocol for the specific configuration of the app and the supporting secure element; activating the secure element that supports the app; and processing, with the activated secure element, using the supported app and communication channel, the transaction with the reader.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for verifying recurring transactions to payment accounts. One exemplary method includes initially receiving an authorization request for a transaction to a payment account and involving a merchant, where the authorization request includes a recurring payment indicator. The method also generally includes transmitting, by at least one computing device, a verification request to a consumer associated with the payment account, and inhibiting, by the at least one computing device, at least one or authorization or clearing of the transaction until a verification of the transaction, based on a direction from the consumer, is recognized, whereby the consumer is able to verify the transaction before the transaction is cleared.

Abstract: Techniques for managing modules or applications installed in a mobile device are described. To provide authentic and secured transactions with another device, each of the installed applications is provisioned with a server through data communication capability in a mobile device. A provisioned application is associated with the personalized secure element in the mobile device and works with a set of keys that are generated in accordance with a set of keys from the personalized secure element. Further management of controlling an installed application is also described.

In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a host connection manager receives a request for a PIN, which is associated with a particular monetary value. The host connection manager transmits the request for the PIN to a server, and the host connection manager receives the PIN from the server. In addition, the host connection manager is adapted to receive a client request indicative of the particular monetary value. The client request is generated at the client terminal and is transmitted from the client terminal to the host connection manager. In response to the client request, the host connection manager sends the PIN associated with the particular monetary value to the client terminal.

Abstract: Methods and devices for online payments are disclosed. Prior to accepting payment account information from a user for the payment transaction, a client terminal sends an interface listing command to a transaction server, requesting the transaction server to identify one or more acceptable input interfaces for receiving the payment account information. The transaction server responds to the interface listing command by a payment input instruction. The client terminal uses the payment input instructions to generate a payment information interface to present the one or more acceptable input interfaces for user selection. The user can choose how to input the payment information that best conforms to the user's expectations for security and convenience. The current method, device and system provide additional flexibility, improve efficiency, and facilitate online payment.

Abstract: A vehicle wireless connection system, the system comprising: at least one portable computing device (PCD), wherein the PCD includes: at least one camera, wherein the camera is configured to capture an image of a vehicle indicator on a vehicle to capture a vehicle indicator image; at least one memory including a certification data file having one or more authorization certificates; at least one PCD processor configured to receive the vehicle indicator image and execute a sign-on application, wherein the sign-on application is further configured to: compare the vehicle indicator image with one or more stored images; when the vehicle indicator image is the same as one of the one or more stored images, direct the PCD to connect to the vehicle; and when the authorization certificates are determined valid, connect the PCD to the vehicle at a wireless access point to provide access to some or all vehicle information.

Beacon technology is employed to communicate with a customer's mobile device. Pass application technology is employed to transmit records to and from a customer and local retailer.

In advance of an appointment, the appointment and payment handling system may send a reminder to customer devices of the customers associated with the appointment, and then receive a response that includes a requested change to the appointment. The requested change may comprise a net increase in the number of customers associated with the appointment and an updated cost-splitting arrangement for dividing appointment costs between the customers. The appointment and payment handling system may seek and receive approval of the change from the merchant. Upon determining that the appointment is completed, the appointment and payment handling system may process payment based at least in part on the updated cost-splitting arrangement.

The device may process messages in an electronic messaging account using a set of processing techniques after receiving the transaction information. The device may determine a manner in which to configure a user interface of an application associated with a user device to display the first set of messages based on the transaction information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the user device to configure the user interface of the application to display the first set of messages.

Abstract: A method and device for charging roaming for CS fallback MTRF call is provided. At least one charging data record is obtained through receiving charging data records from at least one roaming charging device, wherein the user equipment roams to a VPLMN corresponding to the at least one roaming charging device. Based on the at least one charging data record and in combination with the local charging data record in the home charging device, consolidation processing is performed so as to obtain a consolidated target charging data record. A method of computing charging data records so as to perform final charging in a home charging device in the home network is introduced, instead of performing final charging in a roaming charging device in a visited network, which avoids repetitive charging on the charging data records in the mobile switching center of the visited network.

Abstract: A wireless device is enabled to process a transaction. In one implementation, the wireless device receives card data for a plurality of financial account cards and stores the card data in memory associated with the wireless device. The wireless device determines merchant information for the transaction and determines rewards benefit information for at least some of the plurality of financial account cards. The wireless device provides a suggestion of at least one of the plurality of financial account cards to use in the transaction based on the determined rewards benefit information.

Abstract: A salesperson may be paid commissions for products sold from the inventory of a merchant. In some examples, the commissions for different products may be determined and changed dynamically, throughout the course of a business day, in response to changing sales rates and inventory conditions. Specifically, commissions may be changed to increase the sales rates of certain products over others. As an example, it may be desired to increase the sales rates of products having relatively high inventory counts and/or that are nearing the expiration of their shelf lives. The changing commission amounts are published or advertised to the salespersons throughout the day so that the salespersons can see which products will produce the highest commissions. Abstract: A method is disclosed for a customer splitting the cost of a purchase with other persons. An electronic receipt may be viewed on a mobile electronic device with electronic receipts software thereon. Using a device configured according to one or more embodiments of the invention, a customer is able to select the receipt for splitting as well as selecting other persons to share the cost of items on the receipt. The customer may allocate item cost among those other persons. Information may be sent to a server or computer system to provide notifications to the other persons. The server may then process the request and transmit receipt information/notifications to the person requested by the customer.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses may allow a host device to facilitate communication from a guest device to a network, wherein the service usage charges that would ordinarily be charged against the host device account may be transferred to the guest device account. A method may include a host device connecting to a network. The host device may be associated with a first account. The host device may receive a connection from a guest device. The guest device may be associated with a second account. The host device may facilitate communication from the guest device to the network, wherein the facilitated communication from the guest device to the network may be a charge against the first account. The host device may provide instruction to the network to transfer the charge against the first account to the second account.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for estimating fuel levels in a fuel tank. In one example, a method may comprise adjusting estimates of a fuel level in a fuel tank based on an amount of fuel added to the fuel tank during a refueling event. The amount of fuel added to the fuel tank may be provided by a vehicle operator via one or more of a dashboard user interface, a wireless device user interface, and a digital camera included within a user device.
