Each of the candidate reports is evaluated with respect to a plurality of populations and with respect to the received set of metrics and attributes. A candidate report to be outputted is automatically selected based at least in part on the evaluation.

Abstract: A system can receive a request for a transport service from a first device. The request can include a user identifier associated with a first user of the first device, contact information associated with a second user, and a pickup location information. The system can make a determination whether a user account associated with the second user is stored in a user database using the contact information in the request. Based on the determination, the system can select a messaging protocol to transmit data to a second device associated with the contact information. The system can transmit a message corresponding to the transport service to the second device using the selected messaging protocol.

Abstract: Embodiments of a distribution management system are disclosed. In some embodiments, a distribution management system enables to effectively provide geographic information system (GIS) data regarding an electric power application model applied to a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system using an international electrotechnical commission (IEC)-61968 standard, is a distribution management system based on IEC-61968, includes a GIS tool for generating GIS schema data, a GIS transfer unit for receiving the GIS schema data to transform the received GIS schema data into a format suitable for a standard, and one or more GIS distribution management applications connected to the GIS tool to receive the GIS schema data.

Abstract: In a method of configuring a host device in a process control plant to automatically perform an action or a set of actions includes, a workflow template is generated. The workflow template includes a sequence of one or more steps to be performed by the host device. Each of at least some of the one or more steps is selected from a set of predetermined steps. Then, an instance of the workflow template is generated at the host device. A trigger condition is generated for automatically triggering the instance workflow. The sequence of the one or more steps is executed in response to detecting the trigger condition.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a method, including: communicating with a server to obtain change data derived from a set of event data; said set of event data comprising timestamped event data permitting calculation of a delta with respect to a scheduling milestone; identifying, using a processor, a display element impacted by the change data; and updating, using the processor, the display element according to the change data; said updating comprising changing a color of a display graphic in a schedule view to visually indicate the change data. Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for generating title products. A device accepts a title product search request for a title product for a property. The device initiates a search of databases that contain information about the property such as data or evidence of title. A rule engine compares the retrieved information with business rules such as title insurance underwriting criteria. The comparison provides results for generating a title report, insurance contract or other title insurance products.

Abstract: A method for controlling a system including a plurality of subsystems, includes receiving operational data from the plurality of subsystems of the system (S21). A future condition of each of the plurality of subsystems is estimated from the received operational data (S22). A control strategy for delaying a need for system maintenance is generated based on the estimated future condition of each of the plurality of subsystems (S23). An operation of the system is controlled based on the generated control strategy (S24).

Abstract: A user may perform activities at an automated device having various technical features, such as a display, a printer, a camera, a microphone, a speaker, and other features used to perform activities at the automated device. During performance of an activity, the user may run into an issue and request assistance from an agent having a computing device (e.g., a portable computing device). Additionally or alternatively, the automated device may detect the issue and send a request for assistance to a computing device managing a transaction assistance portal or directly to the agent's computing device. The request may identify the user, the activity, and/or the issue, and the agent and his or her computing device may be used to resolve the issue. The agent's computing device may also be used to facilitate customer relationship management with the user.

Abstract: A social networking system (SNS) may determine the integrity of a social application. In particular, the SNS can receive communications and tags associated with different subsets of the communications from the social application. Thereafter, the SNS can distribute the communications, and monitor for user interactions performed on the communications. Subsequently, feedback indicating the integrity of the social application can be provided. The feedback can be based on the user interactions performed on the communications. The feedback can also be provided according to the tags. In particular, a set of feedback information can be provided for each tag, where the set is based on the user interactions performed on the subset of communications associated with the tag. By providing feedback in this manner, A-B testing can be performed. In one embodiment, the operating state for the social application can be determined based on the integrity of the SNS.

As such, fuzzy correlation logic may then be applied to the combined information to determine potential cause and effect relationships and thereby diagnose problems and otherwise manage interactions that occur in the infrastructure. Abstract: A system and method of managing and prioritizing tasks amongst resources and, more particularly, to a system and method for providing automatic task assignment and notification amongst globally dispersed human resources. The system includes a change of management application configured to store a list of tasks and a task notifier configured to retrieve a list of geographically-dispersed resources and notify selected ones of the geographically-dispersed resources of a priority of completion of one or more tasks retrieved from the change of management application. The system further includes a message application configured to be polled by the task notifier to determine which of the geographically dispersed resources is at least one of online and currently working.

The system automatically assigns an employee to a cash register and transmits real time operational status of those cash registers to a supervisor via a wireless device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for a service platform capable of providing device-based task completion is disclosed. A request for a task is received at a service platform from a customer. A worker device to complete the task is selected from a group of worker devices registered with the service platform based on a current attribute of the worker device. Data resulting from completion of the task is received from the selected worker device, validated, and presented to the customer. A reward or incentive can be provided to the worker device in response to the data being received from the worker device and validated.

Abstract: Systems and methods implementing utility-maximized scheduling of time-sensitive tasks in a resource constrained-environment are described herein. Some embodiments include a method for utility-optimized scheduling of computer system tasks performed by a processor of a first computer system that includes determining a time window including a candidate schedule of a new task to be executed on a second computer system, identifying other tasks scheduled to be executed on the second computer system within said time window, and identifying candidate schedules that each specifies the execution times for at least one of the tasks (which include the new task and the other tasks). The method further includes calculating an overall utility for each candidate schedule based upon a task utility calculated for each of the tasks when scheduled according to each corresponding candidate schedule and queuing the new task for execution according to a preferred schedule with the highest overall utility.

Abstract: A generation identifier is employed with various systems and methods in order to identify situations where a workload has been reassigned to a new node and where a workload is still being processed by an old node during a failure between nodes. A master node may assign a workload to a worker node. The worker node sends a request to access target data. The request may be associated with a generation identifier and workload identifier that identifies the node and workload. At some point, a failure occurs between the master node and worker node. The master node reassigns the workload to another worker node. The new worker node accesses the target data with a different generation identifier, indicating to the storage system that the workload has been reassigned. The old worker node receives an indication from the storage system that the workload has been reassigned and stops processing the workload.

Abstract: According to a general aspect, a system for personalized planning based on crowd-sourcing includes a data collector configured to collect task-related data specific to a user from multiple different data sources, and a planning optimizer configured to determine a task list providing upcoming tasks to complete based on an analysis of the task-related data in view of role-based task data and task-tracking information. The planning optimizer obtains a task from other users having a same role as the user based on the role-based task data, determines a suggested activity for completing the task based on the task-tracking information, and provides the task list to the user via a user interface.

Abstract: Architecture that enables the implementation of temporary contacts by the inclusion of additional data with each contact. The additional data can comprise geolocation data such as GPS coordinates, triangulation information, or other geographical coordinate or location data technologies. Additionally, the mere presence of the additional data can be a trigger to interact with the user as to if the contact should be maintained in the long term or removed in the short term. The association of the geolocation location data of a mobile device with a contact being added and intelligent use of the geolocation data enables prompting of the user to delete or mark for deletion the contact as a temporary contact or retain the contact until marked for removal and removed. Spatial and/or temporal criteria can be manually selected or automatically set for all designated temporary contacts or on an individual basis.

When an incident occurs, an assessment is completed and the results thereof are displayed on a risk assessment guidance interface.

Abstract: An information management system may store information related to tasks to be performed by workers in an organization. Workers in the organization may communicate with the information management system using email messages. The information management system may not require a login or authentication procedure, and workers may interact with the information management system without the need to log in to the information management system. The information management system may receive an email message from a worker that indicates a request for a report. The information management system may determine whether to transmit the report to the worker based on whether the worker is appropriately registered with the information management system, and/or whether the worker has administrative privileges. The information management system, in response to a positive determination, may transmit the report to the email address from which the requesting email message was sent.

Abstract: A system and method for automating the performance of substitute fulfillment. The system includes a server which receives absentee information representing an absent worker via a telephone communication link or an Internet communication link. In response to receiving the absentee information, the system generates a list of potential substitute workers. The system then contacts potential substitute workers until one is found or until the list is exhausted. The system can also post a list of positions that are available on a website allowing potential substitute workers to search for a position.

Abstract: The subject matter of the disclosure is embodied in a method that includes identifying a user-list which is based on owned or permissioned data, wherein the user-list is associated with a corresponding owner database. The method also includes providing an application programming interface (API) configured to communicate with the owner database, and receiving, from the owner database through the API, metadata related to the user-list. An initial batch of job profiles potentially matching the candidate profile is received from the source of job profiles. At least a subset of the plurality of concepts corresponding to the ontology is extracted from a job profile among the batch of job profiles. A normalized job profile is generated, wherein the normalized job profile includes the at least a subset of the plurality of concepts. Whether the normalized candidate profile matches with the normalized job profile is determined.

Abstract: A resource scheduling system includes a set of resources and associated resource attributes, a representation of resource demands, and a scheduling module for generating a schedule of resource utilization. The representation of resource demands and availability may include information about time slots, calendars, and shifts. A slot is a representation of a demand for one or more individual item. A calendar is a representation of dates when resources are needed. Each shift represents a set of time intervals of resource demands. Additionally, the system keeps track of individual resource availability and preferences and attempts to create a resource utilization schedule that satisfies all constraints generated based on the time slots, calendars, shifts, and resource schedules.
