Abstract: A generation identifier is employed with various systems and methods in order to identify situations where a workload has been reassigned to a new node and where a workload is still being processed by an old node during a failure between nodes. A master node may assign a workload to a worker node. The worker node sends a request to access target data. The request may be associated with a generation identifier and workload identifier that identifies the node and workload. At some point, a failure occurs between the master node and worker node. The master node reassigns the workload to another worker node. The new worker node accesses the target data with a different generation identifier, indicating to the storage system that the workload has been reassigned. • Patent number: 9646878
Abstract: A method is disclosed for manufacturing integrated circuits, microelectronics, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), nano-electro-mechanical systems (NEMS), photonic, and any micro- and nano-fabricated devices and systems designs that allow these designs to be kept secure. The manufacturing of the devices in the substrates is performed in a traditional manner at a foundry that can be located anywhere in the world., The manufacturing at this foundry is stopped just before the fabrication of the first layer of electrical interconnects. At this stage, the semiconductor substrates with the devices, minus electrical interconnects, are sent back to the design organization (or their designated trusted foundry) to perform the fabrication of the electrical interconnects to complete the entire manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 9558271
Abstract: A method of matching job profiles with a candidate profile is disclosed. A plurality of concepts corresponding to an ontology is extracted from a candidate profile. A normalized candidate profile is generated, wherein the normalized candidate profile includes the plurality of concepts. A search query is formed at least in part based on the normalized candidate profile and the ontology. The search query is submitted to a source of job profiles. An initial batch of job profiles potentially matching the candidate profile is received from the source of job profiles. At least a subset of the plurality of concepts corresponding to the ontology is extracted from a job profile among the batch of job profiles. A normalized job profile is generated, wherein the normalized job profile includes the at least a subset of the plurality of concepts. Whether the normalized candidate profile matches with the normalized job profile is determined.
