Abstract: A communications system and method is provided for facilitating access to a service center resource. A request is received from a mobile device of a user to access a service center associated with a destination specific application on the mobile device. The request includes information entered by the user and associated with the request. An identification of a service center resource of the service center that matches needs of the user based upon the information entered by the user and a determination of an availability of the service center resource is made. A first communication is launched to a communications address associated with the mobile device and a second communication is launched to a communications address associated with the service center resource. The first communication and the second communication are bridged.

Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to a computer-implemented process, that includes receiving an incoming contact at a contact center for an interaction between the contact center and a user; monitoring inbound communication and outbound communication between the user and an agent of the contact center; detecting that one of the agent or the user ends the contact; and based on the monitored inbound communication and outbound communication, automatically determining, by the computer, whether the interaction is complete.

Abstract: Systems and methods for booking security services are described. A mobile device application provides clients the ability to hire security professionals within the geographical area of the client or another client specified location. The systems and methods facilitate selection of security professionals in real-time from security professionals that qualify for the services needed by a client. The systems and methods provide the ability to track the selected security professionals a mobile device application. The systems and methods display available security professionals in a specified geographical area along with ratings, qualifications and hourly rates, making the client's selection of security professionals simple. The systems and methods allow the security professionals to promote their services. Participation in the systems and methods provides security professionals the ability to work at the time and place of their choosing in the geographical area they prefer.

Abstract: A method for providing per-user aggregation of content accessible via a personalized user site may generally include receiving a request for metadata and determining whether the requested metadata is expired. The method may further include returning at least a portion of queried metadata prior to verifying whether the metadata is expired. The method may then include querying a change log for metadata modifications. The method may further include, if metadata has been modified since a previous query, sending a query to a community site for metadata that meets change criteria. The method may also include receiving the changed metadata and returning the changed metadata to a content group container within the personalized user site.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a set of parameters for a given project and generating, using information from a knowledge database, a plurality of combinations of group members based at least in part on the set of parameters. The method also includes evaluating a set of metrics for each of the combinations of group members, the set of metrics comprising at least one novelty metric and at least one collective intelligence metric. The method further includes generating one or more strategy matrices for each of at least a subset of the combinations of group members using information from the knowledge database, evaluating the combinations of group members in the subset using the strategy matrices to determine respective predicted success values, and selecting a given one of the combinations of group members for the given project based at least in part on the sets of metrics and predicted success values.

The steps include: displaying a table including the importance and period of each test item; displaying a first optimum schedule obtained from an optimal solution based on values entered by a user into the table, the schedule including a use schedule of each test facilities used for each of the multiple test items; displaying a second optimum schedule obtained from an optimal solution recalculated by mathematical programming after a use schedule of a test item the importance of which is changed on the first optimum schedule is changed; and displaying a third optimum schedule based on neighborhood solutions obtained by a search method using a history of optimal solutions if no agreement between the users is obtained on the second schedule.

Abstract: Systems and methods for continually measuring and calculating performance of a hot water or a system are described. A central monitor receives and processes information from hot water or steam field devices. A mobile device can communicate with the central monitor and display processed data from the central monitor regarding field devices associated with the mobile device. The central monitor can determine and send control parameters, maintenance reminders and other information to the mobile device or to a monitor at an enterprise location. Data is sent to the mobile device from the central monitor when there is a quality communication connection. If the mobile device is in the field with a poor or no communication connection, it stores updates and pushes the changes to the control monitor when a quality communication connection is reestablished.

Abstract: A system for providing dynamic roadside assistance coordination may include a customer mobile device or vehicle in direct, or indirect, wireless communication with an insurance provider and/or service provider remote server. The customer's device may transmit a request for roadside assistance (e.g., towing services), and a current GPS location. In response, a closest, trusted service provider vehicle may be determined, and then directed to the customer's location. For instance, a software application may receive the customer location and compare it with availability information to match the customer with a close and trusted service provider. The customer's device may receive an acknowledgement that help is on the way, and be able to track the current location of the service provider vehicle while en route. Payment for the roadside assistance may be automatically and electronically paid by the insurance provider. As a result, prompt and safe roadside assistance may be provided.

Abstract: A plant deliverable management system is presented. The system leverages plant construction agnostic templates to generate plant deliverables (e.g., training materials, inspections, reports, design drawings, etc.). The plant deliverables can be converted from common, a generic format to a format desired by a client paying for the plant construction. The system can also provision a computer system with a released version of plant deliverables where the deliverables are indexed according to a derived indexing scheme generated based on the templates and a client's desired formats or asset attributes.

Abstract: Techniques are presented herein for scheduling meetings for participants by a scheduling system in communication with a resource allocation system that determines and allocates the resources for a requested meeting, when the resources are available. The scheduling system receives a request from a client device, where the request is to schedule a first meeting. The scheduling system then sends a query to the resource allocation system, where the query includes one or more constructs that represent resources previously allocated to one or more scheduled second meetings by the resource allocation system. The scheduling system then receives a notification from resource allocation system. The notification includes one or more additional constructs representing the resources that the resource allocation system has allocated to the first meeting.

Abstract: The system and methods described herein provide for managing user datasets by facilitating interactions between users and their advisors following location-based notification of certain triggering events in the user dataset. The geolocation of the user is used to identify nearby advisors who can provide consultation as required by the user. Some embodiments facilitate introductions to a potential user of a set of advisors matched to the user's profile and in response to certain triggering events in the user's dataset.

Abstract: A software voting or prediction system iteratively solicits participant preferences between members of a set, with a binary tree built used to minimize the number of iterations required. As each member of the set is considered, it is pairwise-compared with select members represented by nodes already in the binary tree, with iterations beginning at a root node of the tree and continuing to a leaf node. The newly considered member is placed as a new leaf node, and the tree is height-rebalanced as appropriate. Red-black tree coloring and tree rotation rules are optionally used for this purpose. Yes/no preference tallies are kept for each member of the set throughout the tree-building process and are ultimately used for scoring. Height-rebalancing of the tree helps minimize the number of iterations needed to precisely score each member of the set relative to its alternatives.

When receiving network measurements related to service events when the service is delivered to the user, the score management node determines a quality score reflecting the user's perception of quality of service delivery and an associated significance reflecting the user's perception of importance of each service delivery, by applying the user-specific model parameters on each network measurement. Abstract: A method and a score management node for supporting service evaluation by obtaining a perception score reflecting a user's experience of one or more services delivered by a telecommunication network. The score management node receives a network measurement related to a current service event of service delivery to the user within a predefined time length from a previous service event, and determines a correlation level reflecting the user's perception of the current service event as correlated with the previous service event. A quality score is determined for the current service event, reflecting the user's perception of quality of service delivery and an associated significance reflecting the user's perception of importance of service delivery, based on the network measurement and the correlation level. Abstract: A method and system for automating some aspects of a recruiting process, which may implement rules permitting the processes of sourcing candidates, setting up job interviews, and responding to candidate questions to all be automated with a computer. The system and method also tracks the time and user's location to provide user with a new itinerary in the event a given task cannot be completed successfully. The method also provides an alert in case no practicable itinerary exists.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for collecting data and mapping wireless network coverage in a building such as a retail store. A mobile computing device is used by an employee to collect data captures and wireless coverage indicators in the retail store. The wireless coverage indicator includes data on the status of wireless network coverage in the location where the data capture was collected. The data capture and the wireless coverage indicators are wirelessly transmitted to a utility for mapping a building when a wireless network is available. If no wireless network is available, the data is stored in the mobile computing device until a wireless network is available. The utility for mapping a building uses information in the data capture to determine the location where the data capture was collected, and maps the data in the wireless coverage indicator to the location on a map of the building.

Abstract: A computer implemented system and method for identifying leaders in an organization. The system includes two repositories; first that stores information related to existing/known leaders and second that stores tacit and explicit knowledge related to the employees. The repositories store relevant attributes and attribute values of employees and known leaders according to their ranking in their field of activity, to form a digital persona. The digital persona of known leaders is then compared with the digital persona of an employee suitable for the leadership to form a leadership score. A leader is then chosen based on the leadership ranking which is based on leadership score. Thus, the employees, based on circumstances, may get more opportunities to prove their leadership abilities as the leadership ranking changes periodically.
