The appointment platform may rank a plurality of users to which the open appointment may be offered. The appointment platform may rank a user of the plurality of users based on a current membership score of the user. The appointment platform may determine, based on the ranking, to offer the user the open appointment. The appointment platform may identify, based on the current membership score of the user, a type of incentive from a plurality of types of incentives, to offer to the user for filling the open appointment.

Abstract: A computer software for managing electronic meetings. The meeting management system includes a Meeting Series feature. Individual meetings with at least one common characteristic may be grouped into a Meeting Series. The Meeting Series has a number of users/members associated with the entire Meeting Series and each individual meeting within the Meeting Series. Each meeting has a plurality of tasks associated with the meeting. The tasks are assigned to members. The members can access the task list for an individual meeting or the entire Meeting Series. The task list is dynamic and filtered based on the predefined permission rules. New meetings within the Meeting Series may be scheduled manually or automatically based on the status of the tasks associated with the Meeting Series. The list of members invited to each new meeting is prepopulated based on their membership within the Meeting Series and the status of the task assigned to them.

Abstract: A computer sends a binary representation of a request for a meeting to end-users. The computer generates one or more lists, wherein each of the lists includes electronic calendar time slots during which at least one of the plurality of end-users is able to attend the meeting. The computer identifies at least one electronic calendar time slot having a highest frequency of occurrence on the lists generated, which comprises iterating through each of the lists and computing a frequency of occurrence of the at least one electronic calendar time slot on the lists. The computer records the frequency of occurrence. The computer queues the meeting in response to the frequency of occurrence being less than a configurable threshold value. The computer schedules the meeting in response to the frequency of occurrence being equal to or greater than the configurable threshold value.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for providing a collaborative status message in an instant messaging system. Instant Messaging (“IM”) users that belong to a group are identified. A collaborative status message (e.g., “In Meeting with User 2 and User 3”) is generated that specifies the IM users of the group (e.g., User 2 and User 3) that are participating in an event (e.g., meeting) with an IM user upon the event occurring. The collaborative status message is broadcasted to other IM users. In this manner, more detailed information can be provided to other IM users regarding the status of the IM user in question.

Abstract: A method for managing appointments using a wireless device includes receiving scheduling data for a future appointment including a time associated with the future appointment. A current location of the wireless device is determined, and a reminder for the future appointment is provided at a time prior to the future appointment based on the current location of the wireless device. For example, the reminder may be provided at a time that varies based on the current location of the wireless device, a location associated with the future appointment, and an estimated travel time between the current location of the device and the location associated with the future appointment. Related methods, devices, and computer program products are also discussed.

Abstract: Processes, systems, and devices for the automated scheduling of visits with persons having limited access to communications or limited ability to travel are provided. This involves the receipt of a machine-readable visit request. The visit request is used to schedule either a videoconference or a contact visit using a scheduling database. Systems for the automated arrangement of confidential visits (both in person and via videoconference) and systems for dynamically revising scheduled visits in response to updates from a jail management system are also provided.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method provides location-sensitive and time-sensitive calendaring to a wireless device, such as a cell phone, pager, PDA, etc. A user's calendar is maintained with a number of appointments, start times and end times for the appointments, meeting place and a list of attendees for the appointments. When the present time reading is within a predetermined minimum of a meeting start time of an appointment of a calendar user, the location of the user is determined based on the location of the wireless device. The location of the meeting place is also determined. Using historical data (of the user or others), the estimated time of arrival of the user at the meeting place is determined. If the estimated time of arrival is after the meeting start time, then a late message may be sent to the user and/or to the other meeting attendees.

Abstract: Event management systems, methods, and computer program products. The event management system receives data defining participants and dates for an event, such as a business meeting. The system may determine the availability of the participants on the proposed dates based on data received from one or more calendar applications, if available. The system may then generate a plurality of event options based on participant availability and option costs. An event organizer may then select options from the plurality of options, and cause the selected options to be sent to the participants. The participants classify the received options as preferred, acceptable, or unacceptable. Based on these classifications, the system determines acceptable options which may include a “best option”. The event organizer selects one or more acceptable options for confirmation by the participants. In response to the participants confirming an option, the option may be booked by the event management system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for scheduling appointments between a user and a provider are described. In one aspect, a requested appointment including an requested appointment location and information defining at least one period of time is received from a user. Computer processor instructions are executed to identify at least one current appointment and location during the period. Still more computer processor instructions are executed to determine an interval of time between the current appointment and the requested appointment based at least in part on the location of the current appointment and the requested appointment location, and further to determine at least one available time option for scheduling the requested appointment based at least in part on the interval of time. The available time option(s) is (are) then returned to the user.

Abstract: A system and method for preventing the lapse of a recurring event includes an electronic calendar program having the capability of establishing a recurring event with a predetermined end date. A processor is operative for notifying an organizer of the event at a predetermined time of the end date for the recurring event and permitting the organizer to modify the end date of the recurring event if the event is to continue. The electronic calendar program and processor is operative in a mobile wireless communications device that includes a housing and radio frequency (RF) transceiver contained within the housing such that notifications of the new end date can be transmitted to and received by attendees of the event, including any changed meeting information.

Abstract: A system for scheduling interviews includes an interviewer database and a calendar database. Interviewers are selected as a function of one or more modules of questions that are associated with each of the interviewers, and an interview schedule is generated for a job candidate from the selected interviewers. Abstract: A method and system of event broadcast data publication through a neighborhood events server are disclosed. This embodiment includes validating that an event broadcast data is associated with a verified user of the neighborhood events server using a processor and memory. The embodiment includes verifying that a set of geospatial coordinates associated with the event broadcast data are trusted based on a claimed geospatial location of the verified user of the neighborhood events server and determining that a time stamp of the event broadcast data is trusted based on the claimed geospatial location of the verified user of the neighborhood events server. The embodiment includes automatically publishing the event broadcast data on a set of user profiles having verified addresses in a threshold radial distance from the set of geospatial coordinates associated with the event broadcast data of the verified user of the neighborhood events server using a radial algorithm.

These mechanisms and methods for providing in-line scheduling can enable embodiments to provide a multi-tenant database that stores client scheduling information, client customer contact information, and enables drag and drop event scheduling. In a multi-tenant database, a system for managing client customer contact information and event scheduling is established, which may be useful for a tenant that is a salesperson or that employs salespersons. The multi-tenant database may include a combined view application that provides for the simultaneous display of a calendar view and list view of contact information. The multi-tenant database may further include drag and drop functionality, allowing list view information to be dragged and dropped onto the calendar view for event scheduling.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for schedule management are described. Previously scheduled and proposed events for a user are examined to determine if multiple events occupy the same time period, and the presence of such multiple events is identified as a conflict affecting the time period. A severity value is determined for each time period affected by such multiple events, with the determination suitably employing a recursive function based at least in part on a number of conflicting events and their severities. Conflict and conflict severity information may be presented to users in the form of a display indicating relative severities of conflicts, or alerts having characteristics based at least in part on conflict severity.

The system identifies a customer or a target; communicates and notifies the target via some communication means (SMS, e-mail, mailed Post Card) to schedule an appointment. The user may reserve the location and set a number of presets through the scheduling application. Abstract: A computer software for managing electronic meetings. The meeting management system automatically detects and classifies unaddressed topics. A topic is classified as unaddressed when its actual duration is less than a predefined minimum duration, the notes for the topic do not satisfy predefined criteria, and the topic does not have a conclusion statement. The user can directly classifying a topic as unaddressed. Upon completion of the meeting, the system presents a listing of unaddressed topics to the user. The system can also reschedule the unaddressed topics for a follow-up meeting.

In one embodiment, an adaptive reminder system identifies a start time for a user activity, determines a priority of the activity, and determines a flexibility in the start time. Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically forecasting the future availability of one or more resources, such as Internet advertising opportunities, are described herein. In accordance with various embodiments, a forecasting model that accounts for event-driven resource availability is trained based both on historical supply data and calendar information specifying events and event duration. The trained forecasting model is then used to forecast the availability of resources at one or more specified future time periods. In accordance with certain embodiments, the forecasting model comprises a Gaussian process model that has an event-driven kernel as a covariance function.
