Abstract: Techniques for providing alerts in a system that implements an organizational management platform to manage applications for an organization are disclosed. The method can include accessing organizational data associated with the organization. A rule having a condition for activation of a trigger can be received from a user interface. A dependency map having data objects that are associated with the rule can be generated by the system. A change in a first data object from the data objects can be determined. Additionally, a dependency between the rule and the first data object can be determined based on the dependency map. Moreover, the condition for the activation of the trigger can be determined to be satisfied based on the determined change. Subsequently, an action associated with the activation of the trigger can be performed based on the condition for the activation of the trigger being satisfied.

Abstract: A system for detecting an anomaly in an execution of a task in mixed human-robot processes. Receiving human worker (HW) signals and robot signals. A processor to extract from the HW signals, task information, measurements relating to a state of the HW, and input into a Human Performance (HP) model, to obtain a state of the HW based on previously learned boundaries of the state of the HW, the state of the HW is then inputted into a Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) model, to determine a classification of an anomaly or no anomaly. Update HRI model with robot operation signals, HW signals and classified anomaly, determine a control action of a robot interacting with the HW or a type of an anomaly alarm using the updated HRI model and classified anomaly. Output the control action of the robot to change a robot action or output the type of the anomaly alarm.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a system for fulfilling items at a materials handling facility. In some instances, a predicted items list that identifies items that are likely to be picked by a user are determined and, when the user arrives at the materials handling facility, those predicted items are presented to the user for selection. For example, predicted items may be determined and an inventory holder that holds one or more of those predicted items may be retrieved by a mobile drive unit (such as a Kiva mobile drive unit) and presented to the user at a retrieval area. The user may pick the items they desire from the presented inventory holder.

  • Patent number: 11470196
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for automatically controlling an electronic illumination device to indicate information pertaining to workstations or agents of a customer contact center. Some embodiments are useful in the context of employee management because the illumination devices are used to indicate information about tasks that employees are engaged in, the performance of the employees, and the status of the employees. A computer system coupled to the illumination device executes control software configured to send control signals over a communication interface, such as USB or Bluetooth. The data sent to the electronic illumination device can cause the illumination device to turn off or on, change color, blink, strobe, etc., for producing desired lighting effects representative of a status or event associated with an employee or workstation.

  • Patent number: 11436548
Abstract: A facility for identifying workers in a crowdsourcing or micro-tasking platform who perform low-quality work and/or are really automated bots is described. To identify users who perform low-quality work and/or are really bots, the facility (1) measures the quality of at least a portion of the work done by each user, and (2) tracks the pattern of behavior performed by each user on the platform—such as which work projects they select, the content of the responses, and the timing of each user interface interaction. The facility uses this information to build and maintain a model, such as a statistical model, that uses the pattern of a user's behavior to predict the level of quality of the user's work. Users for which the model predicts a low level of quality are flagged for manual review, or automatically suspended from working or from receiving payment.

  • Patent number: 11423538
Abstract: For training data pairs comprising training text (a radiological report) and training images (radiological images associated with the radiological report), a first encoder network determines word embeddings for the training text. A concept is generated from the operation of layers of the first encoder network, which is regularized by a first loss between the generated concept and a labeled concept for the training text. A second encoder network determines features for the training image. A heatmap is generated from the operation of layers of the second encoder network, which is regularized by a second loss between the generated heatmap and a labeled heatmap for the training image. A categorical cross entropy loss is calculated between a diagnostic quality category (classified by an error encoder) and a labeled diagnostic quality category for the training data pair. A total loss function comprising the first, second, and categorical cross entropy losses is minimized.
