Abstract: Systems and methods for the quantification of sample set quality is provided. In some embodiments, a sample dataset and a sample vector set are received. A rule-based screening of the sample dataset is applied to generate a heuristic quality score. Additionally, a sample vector set is generated from the sample dataset. The difference between the sample vector set and the example vector set is calculated to generate a degree of difference quality score. The heuristic quality score and the degree of difference quality score are normalized and then combined into a quality metric. Calculating the difference between the sample vector set and the example vector set is by framing the distance as a p-value in a hypothesis test, compared against a threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed relating to welding sequence guidance using three-dimensional (3D) models. In some examples, a welding sequence program may use 3D models, rather than two-dimensional (2D) images, to guide operators through welding sequences. Since only one 3D model must be saved for each sequence, rather than potentially hundreds of 2D images, substantial memory space may be saved. Additionally, the same 3D model may be used for several welding sequences. Further, the 3D model may be animated to help the operator understand changes in perspective between steps of the welding sequence.

A sharing module publishes content in a share and metadata associated therewith to a content consumption system external to a managed repository. The share represents a folder or directory in the managed repository. The publication can be made through application programming interface (API) calls handled by a first sharing module API, a repository API, a second sharing module API, and a content consumption system API. These APIs together provide a one-to-one mapping of communications protocols used by the managed repository and the external system. The share in the managed repository and the share published to the content consumption system are synced and any conflict between the two is detected and resolved. The shared content can be repatriated back to the managed repository and the shared version deleted from the content consumption system.
