Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to creating and administering artificial reality collaborative working environments and providing interaction modes for them. An XR work system can provide and control such artificial reality collaborative working environments to enable, for example, A) links between real-world surfaces and XR surfaces; B) links between multiple real-world areas to XR areas with dedicated functionality; C) maintaining access, while inside the artificial reality working environment, to real-world work tools such as the user's computer screen and keyboard; D) various hand and controller modes for different interaction and collaboration modalities; E) use-based, multi-desk collaborative room configurations; and F) context-based auto population of users and content items into the artificial reality working environment.

Abstract: An interactive video distribution system and video player are described. A client server arrangement may be used for providing a video player and video content to a client device. The video player may display navigation images enabling navigation to specific portions of the video content by activating a corresponding navigation image. The video player may also enable the sharing of a segment of the video with other video players, enabling the video players to play the streamed segment of the video without having to play the entire video, thereby reducing network bandwidth usage. The video player may be embeddable. The server may associate searchable tags with respective video segments.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a data processing method, apparatus, electronic device and storage medium. The method including: if it is detected that an operation behavior on a target display page is a sharing operation behavior, determining target display information of at least one candidate sharer; wherein, user types corresponding to the at least one candidate sharer include a “to-be-followed-back” type; displaying the at least one candidate sharer on a target sharing interface corresponding to the target display page based on the target display information.

Abstract: A captioned telephone service system having the text-to-speech and answer assistance functions includes a captioner, a text-to-speech system, and an answer assistance system. The captioner provides captions to a user during a phone call between the user and a peer by receiving the peer's voice from a peer device, transcribing the peer's voice into caption data, and transferring the caption data to the user device. The text-to-speech system is configured to receive text data from the user device, convert the text data into speech, and transfer the voice of the speech to the peer device via the voice path in real time. The answer assistance system is configured to receive the caption data from the captioner, analyze the caption data to identify a question, analyze the question to generate answer suggestions, and forward the answer suggestions to the user device for review, editing, and selection.

Abstract: A method includes: determining, by a videoconference server, a level of tolerated risk for a videoconference between a presenter and an attendee; obtaining, by the videoconference server, sensor data from at least one sensor at a location where a user device of the attendee displays the videoconference; generating, by the videoconference server, a current risk score based on the sensor data; determining, by the videoconference server, the current risk score exceeds the level of tolerated risk; and presenting, by the videoconference server and in response to the determining the current risk score exceeds the level of tolerated risk, an alert to the presenter of the videoconference.

Abstract: Disclosed is a parametric feature-based 3D CAD system that allows multiple users to simultaneously edit a parametric feature-based 3D CAD model consisting of 3D parts and assemblies of those parts (3D Model). Several CAD users, each using their own computer, phone, or tablet, can edit the same 3D Model at the same time. Editing may be separate and simultaneous—there is no need for users to worry about locking, checking out, or otherwise restricting each other's access to 3D Models. Within each user's editing interface, the model may be presented in different representations, with edits to any representation applied and displayed across all representations.

Abstract: A method for preventing transmission of malicious data may include receiving transaction data including at least one packet associated with a payment transaction; extracting at least one of network layer data or transport layer data from a header of the at least one packet; determining a first probability indicating that the at least one packet is in a first class based on the at least one of the network layer data or the transport layer data using a classifier. The method may also include determining a second probability indicating that the at least one packet is in a second class based on the at least one of the network layer data or the transport layer data using the classifier; and blocking the at least one packet. A system and a computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: A shopping store system may include one or more shelves in which each shelf includes one or more levels and one or more products placed on the shelves. Electronic sign labels (ESLs) may be included in the shopping store system in which each of the ESLs is located in a particular position corresponding to a respective product placed on the shelves. Each ESL may include a multi-protocol radio that is configured to operate in a reception modality, a transmission modality, or a transceiving modality. The ESLs may each include a display that is configured to provide information about the respective product to which each ESL corresponds. The shopping store system may include a computer system configured to receive information transmitted by and process information received by each of the ESLs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for peer to peer discovery of remote applications are presented. A client device may discover available remote peers and remotely access applications hosted thereon. The client device may send a discovery message over a network and locate one or more peer devices with available remote access. The peer device may respond with a list including applications installed and currently executing application instances that the client device may remotely access. The peer device may dynamically generate the list based on analyzing applications installed on the peer device and application instances executing on the peer device. The client device may initiate remote access of a selected application hosted on the peer device. The peer device may execute the selected application in a remote mode by hooking input and output interfaces associated with the application, and the application may be executed in a shadow desktop environment.

Abstract: A device's location and an identifier corresponding to the device are received. The device's location is privatized by mapping it to landmarks proximate to the device's location, storing the proximate landmarks in association with the device's identifier, and discarding the received location data. The proximate landmarks are featurized to generate a model which is used to determine a value of the advertising opportunity corresponding to a target identifier.

Abstract: A system and method for creating a context-aware, conversational chat bot or agent in multi-party conversations where participants have different levels of security access to information and the bot operates in one or more modes depending on the business context of the multi-user collaboration virtual workspace. The methods include adding a bot, as a participant, to a virtual workspace that is a multi-user collaboration workspace, obtaining, at a bot application server, context of the virtual workspace, setting, by the bot application server, a skill set for the bot from among a plurality of skill sets. The skill set varies based on the context of the virtual workspace. The methods further include configuring, by the bot application server, the bot to perform at least one task in the virtual workspace based on the skill set.

Abstract: Techniques for providing localization at scale for a cloud-based security service are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system/method/computer program product for providing localization at scale for a cloud-based security service includes receiving a connection request at a network gateway of a cloud-based security service; performing a source Network Address Translation (NAT) from a registered set of public IP addresses associated with a tenant; and providing secure access to a Software as a Service (SaaS) using the cloud-based security service.

Abstract: Disclosed are non-limiting examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for dynamically configuring a process associated with an application based on environmental characteristics monitored by a mobile device. In some implementations, the process includes stages and decision nodes. There is a configurable flow along a path defined by a subset of the stages controlled by a subset of the decision nodes. Contextual data is provided by the mobile device on which the application is usable. The contextual data indicates one or more environmental characteristics associated with a physical environment in which the mobile device is or has been located. The contextual data can be provided as a control input to a decision node associated with a current stage of the process. The process can be configured accordingly.

Abstract: A processor-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining identifying information for one or more tradeable objects associated with an entity; receiving, from at least one media data source, video data for one or more videos, the video data including content indicator tags associated with the one or more videos; identifying a first subset of the one or more videos based on: performing textual comparison between the content indicator tags associated with the one or more videos and identifiers associated with the one or more tradeable objects; and selecting videos for inclusion in the first subset based on the comparison; and sending, to a client device, an indication of the first subset of videos.

Abstract: A spatial event map system including server-side data processor that maintains a spatial event map which locates events in a workspace. The spatial event map includes a log of events, entries in the log having a location of an object of the event in the workspace and a time. The system includes logic to send messages including a location of an object of the event in the workspace and a time of the event to client-side network nodes; and to receive messages identifying events that create or modify an object, and to add corresponding entries to the log of events. The events can include history events that are sent to the other client-side network nodes, and added to the log for the corresponding history events, and ephemeral events that are sent to other client-side network nodes without adding corresponding entries in the log.

Abstract: A video distribution system in one embodiment includes a storage that stores a first post message posted by a first user belonging to a first user group and a second post message posted by a second user belonging to a second user group, and one or more computer processors. In the embodiment, the one or more processors execute computer readable instructions to distribute a video that includes a first display area in which the first post message is displayed and a second display area in which the second post message is displayed but the first post message is undisplayed.

Abstract: The invention relates to electronic indexing, and more particularly, to the indexing, in a cloud, data held in a cloud. Systems and methods of the invention index data by accessing the data in place in the cloud and breaking a job into work items and sending the work items to multiple cloud processes that can each determine whether to index data associated with the work item or to create a new work item and have a different cloud process index the data. Each cloud process is proximal to an item that it indexes. This gives the system scale as well as an internal load-balancing.

Abstract: An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: obtaining a reference sample line index of a current block and most probable mode (MPM)-related information; constructing an alternative MPM list on the basis of the reference sample line index; deriving an intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the alternative MPM list and the MPM-related information; and generating a predicted block of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode, wherein the alternative MPM list is constructed on the basis of an intra prediction mode of an upper adjacent block of the current block and an intra prediction mode of a left adjacent block of the current block.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods of determining online identity reputation. In aspects, an online identity of an entity may engage in online interactions. The content provided by the online identity may be accessed and analyzed to determine interaction characteristics and reputation metrics for the online identity. Based on the reputation metrics, the online identity and/or entity (and content therefrom) may be filtered from further online interactions. In some aspects, interaction data may be stored in a data store. An interaction mapping component having access to the data store may analyze the data store data to determine mappings between online identities, entities and interactions. In at least one aspect, an opt-in certificate system may also be provided. The opt-in system may provide an online identity or entity a certificate to securely validate identity.

Abstract: A system for data mapping and transformation receives load data from a freight broker. The system extracts a set of data elements from the load data. The system determines that set of data elements includes anomalous data indicating that the set of data elements comprise incomplete or incorrect information. The system transforms the anomalous data to correct information retrieved from trusted sources. The system associates each data element to a respective data element in a mapped dataset. The system determines the identity of entities indicated in the load data. The system communicates the load data to a factor entity based the determined identity of the factor entity. The system performs a similar operation on other received messages.

Abstract: Aspects discussed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods to identify points of interest of viewers of a content item concurrently being transmitted in a linear stream to the viewers. A point of interest may refer to a segment of the content item that caused a surge in user reactions. During a subsequent transmission of the content item, identified points of interests may be displayed to the viewer. The viewer may select the point of interest in the content item to begin playback of the point of interest in the content item.

Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing data streams in a virtual collaboration room. The method includes receiving a user video data stream from a user device for display to one or more other participants in the virtual collaboration environment and receiving a user screen sharing data stream from the user device for display to the one or more other participants in the collaboration environment. The method further includes providing a participant video data stream and a participant screen sharing data stream associated with each participant of the one or more other participants in the collaboration environment to the user device, the data streams associated with each participant configured for simultaneous display with each other participant data stream at the user device and simultaneous display with the user video data stream and the user screen sharing data stream to the one or more other participants.

Abstract: Media and method for a user interface for training an artificial intelligence system. Many artificial intelligence systems require large volumes of labeled training data before they can accurately classify previously unseen data items. However, for some problem domains, no pre-labeled training data set may be available. Manually labeling training data sets by a subject-matter expert is a laborious process. An interface to enable such a subject-matter expert to accurately, consistently, and quickly label training data sets is disclosed herein. By allowing the subject-matter expert to easily navigate between training data items and select the applicable labels, operation of the computer is improved.

A screen share may be received from a sharing user within a synchronous multimedia collaboration session. The screen share may be transmitted to viewing users for display. A viewing user may submit an annotation for the screen share. A sharing or viewing user may then submit a request to save the annotated screen share. The annotated screen share may be automatically persisted in association with the synchronous multimedia collaboration session.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of and an apparatus for generating a space for sharing augmented reality content among multiple participants. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating a predicted response to a digital survey question and identifying digital survey questions to remove from a digital survey. For example, the disclosed systems can reduce the number of digital survey questions distributed as part of a digital survey by identifying and removing similar digital survey questions. In addition, the disclosed systems can generate a predicted response to an unprovided digital survey question based on determining relationships between respondents. Further, based on respondent relationships, the disclosed systems can identify digital survey questions that a respondent is likely to answer and can provide the digital survey questions to a respondent device of the respondent.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for determining one or more relevant activities to surface for a user of one or more files hosted by a collaborative application. In one aspect, a set of collaborative activities that are applied by one or more users to one or more files hosted by the collaborative application may be captured. The set of collaborative activities may be analyzed in relation to the user of the one or more files hosted by the collaborative application. At least some activities in the set of collaborative activities may be identified as belonging to one or more relevance categories. A prioritization may be assigned to the at least some activities that belong to the one or more relevance categories.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology provide for transcription of audio content during a conferencing session, such as an audio conferencing session or a video conferencing session. The transcription can be generated by the device at which the audio input is received, and transmitted to a remote device at which the transcription is displayed. Video content can also be provided from the device that generates the transcription to the remote device that displays in the transcription. The transcription can be provided with time information corresponding to time information in the video content, for synchronized display of the transcription and the corresponding video content.

Abstract: Realtime communications between communicants in a virtual area are administered. Assemblies of copresent communicants in the virtual area are detected. For each of respective ones of the detected assemblies, a respective meeting object linked to information relating to communicant interactions in the assembly is generated. Respective meeting summary data is determined based on the information linked to selected ones of the meeting objects meeting objects. The determined meeting summary data is transmitted to a network node for display. A visualization of summaries of respective assemblies of copresent communicants in the virtual area is presented on a display.

Abstract: A technique is disclosed for remotely managing isolated domains on mobile devices. A request is received from the mobile device to instantiate a managed domain. A managed domain configuration is determined and comprises a security policy controlling access to content of the managed domain of the subscribing mobile device, a content specification identifying the content to be downloaded by the subscribing mobile device into the managed domain, and a content configuration identifying a configuration of the content on the subscribing mobile device. The managed domain configuration is sent to the subscribing mobile device to instantiate a secure, managed domain whose policy, content and content configuration is remotely controlled. The technique is useful for advertising and brand promotion on mobile devices as it simultaneously enables detailed control over the presentation of content by a curator while ensuring privacy and security protection of the other apps, accounts and data on the mobile device.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for controlling access to presentation content to present to multiple participants in a virtual meeting. The presentation content is received and includes restricted information. First participants who will be provided access to the presentation content during the virtual meeting, and second participants will be denied access to respective portions of the presentation content containing the restricted information during the virtual meeting, are identified. Entry by the first participants to a safe zone within the virtual meeting is provided. The presentation content is presented in the safe zone to the first participants during the virtual meeting. The restricted information is denied to the second participants during the virtual meeting. The first participants in the safe zone have full access to all content presented in the virtual meeting, outside the safe zone and not presented in any other safe zone within the virtual meeting.

An administrator terminal includes: a file management system generation unit that issues a contract generation transaction for generating, in blockchain data, a contract in which a network identifier that identifies a file management system is associated with an identifier of a participant terminal in a blockchain system, and notifying the participant terminal of the network identifier and an identifier of the contract; and a file management control unit that issues a registration transaction for registering, in the contract, connection information of the administrator terminal in the file management system, acquires connection information of the participant terminal in the file management system from the contract, and establishes a P2P connection with the participant terminal based on the acquired connection information.

Abstract: A system and method is used to manage GUI for group video calls. The method ensures effective communication and control over shared video content during group video calls. The method enables to combine feed videos from a plurality of attendee accounts and other shared video content to be displayed in one single slide. Further, the method allows control over slide presentations and positioning of participant videos by cursor movement of the host account holder or the presenter. This allows the participants to follow the presenter, while viewing the presentation slides and other feed videos. Furthermore, the method allows users to switch mouse cursor control between the presenter and the participants by clicking on the video on a primary slot. Additionally, the presenter as well as the participants may individually select background views as well as arrangement patterns for videos of attendees of the video conference, from a selection of patterns.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sharing a physical location with online users by requiring the online users to be in physical proximity of a specific physical location before the users can experience media content associated with the physical location. A user can mark a physical location when that user is at the location by associating a virtual anchor with that location. The virtual anchor creates a data structure that contains the location's geographic coordinates as well as other details regarding the anchor. The user can also associate media content with the virtual anchor. The virtual anchor can be shared with other users and these other users are notified of the presence of the virtual anchor when they are within a physical proximity from the physical location. Only when the other users are at the location can these users access the media content associated with the virtual anchor.

Abstract: A virtual assistant server receives a user input from a virtual assistant interface available on a client system associated with a user identified by a user identifier. Upon receiving the user input, the virtual assistant server creates a search network of repositories not associated with the user identifier by determining, for the received user input, a priority score of each repository not associated with the user identifier based on interactions of the user identifier through the virtual assistant interface. Further, the virtual assistant server searches, for the received user input, in a repository associated with the user identifier and in the repositories in the search network. Based on the searching, a group of one or more results corresponding to the received user input are identified and returned to the client system associated with the user identifier.

Abstract: A method for sharing data in a transmitting-side electronic device communicating with a receiving-side electronic device is provided. The method includes connecting a voice call with the receiving-side electronic device; obtaining a sharing object to be shared with the receiving-side electronic device; and transmitting data corresponding to the sharing object to the receiving-side electronic device through a data session formed based on information related to the voice call.

The motion performed for the virtual avatars that cheered differs from the motion performed for the viewer avatars that did not cheer based on timing indicated by the distributor. Either the motion performed for the virtual avatars that cheered or the motion performed for the viewer avatars that did not cheer is a predetermined motion.

Abstract: A multitenant private communication system and a method for providing mobility and access control across tenant boundaries in the multitenant private communication system. The method includes receiving a first connection request from a user device for connection to first network infrastructure of a first tenant and establishing a connection between the user device and a first private sub-network of the first tenant through the first network infrastructure. The method further includes receiving a second connection request from the user device for connection to second network infrastructure of a second tenant of the multitenant private communication system and determining whether the second network infrastructure is a guest network infrastructure of the user device. The method also includes establishing a connection between the user device and the first private sub-network through the second network infrastructure when the second network infrastructure is the guest network infrastructure of the user device.

Abstract: System and methods for providing private social networks, which are cloud-based in some instances, are provided herein. A method includes receiving a selection of the digital data on a private user secure data storage device from a first user, receiving a selection of one or more individuals to be given access to the digital data, applying access rights for the digital data, creating a URL that points to a location within the private user secure data storage device where the digital data resides, posting the URL to a plurality of social networks using a shared message, receiving a request from a second user for the digital data when the second user clicks the URL in the shared message, and serving the digital data to the second user directly from the private user secure data storage device without storing the digital data on any of the plurality of social networks.

Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. In the method, an SMF sends first information to a first user plane network element, where the first information indicates the first user plane network element to send a report message to the SMF when receiving a first DNS response message that meets a first condition, and the report message includes information about an application server indicated by the first DNS response message or information about a data network corresponding to the application server. The first user plane network element sends the report message to the SMF when determining that the received first DNS response message meets the first condition. The SMF inserts the local session anchor based on the report message.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer program products for binding information management. A method implemented at a policy control node in a wireless communication network comprises: obtaining information indicating a collocated deployment of a session management node and a binding support node (202); and inhibiting, in response to the information, a registration of binding information to the binding support node (204). A policy control node can know that a binding support node is collocated with a session management node, and no registration of binding information to the binding support node will be triggered for the policy control node.

Abstract: A method of determining a suggested digital object to place into a 3D environment is disclosed. Scene data within a frustum volume of a camera within a 3D environment is determined. The scene data includes a set of digital objects that are located within the frustum volume. A set of traits is determined based on the scene data. At least one suggested digital object is suggested for placing into the 3D environment based on a correlation between the suggested digital object and the set of traits.
